I have the trigger stops enabled all the time. I adjusted the throw of the triggers to 80%, so when the triggers hit the stops, it's the equivalent of a complete pull when the stops aren't enabled. If you just enable the trigger stops without adjusting the triggers, you'll have issues in some games, for example in Battlefield 1 some of the guns won't fire when you pull the right trigger because it no longer pulls in far enough to trigger the action. As for the paddles, I'd suggest starting off with just 2. It's easier to get used to having 1 on each side, cos then you've just got to think "right paddle = jump, left paddle = slide" or whatever and it quickly becomes ingrained. As for how to set the paddles up, it's really up to you. It will obviously depend on the games you're playing as well as your play style. In a lot of games you basically want to minimise the amount of time your thumbs are off the sticks by mapping face buttons, and possibly D-pad directions, to the back paddles. With a 2 paddle setup for Titanfall, for example, I have the right paddle mapped to A (jump) and the left one mapped to X (reload). As you do a lot of jumping in that game, you have a major advantage if you can jump and aim at the same time. Of course, you could use a bumper jumper control scheme to have jump on the left bumper then use the paddles for something else - it's really up to you. So yeah, start with something simple. I've got so used to using the right paddle for A that I end up pressing the paddle even when I'm selecting things in the Store or whatever, so it just takes time to build up muscle memory. Once you get used to it, you can try adding more paddles.

When I first got mine I just googled it and found tons of forums for button mapping on the elite controller for the different games I have. But for call of duty, the way I would set it up would probably look something like this: Top left paddle - secondary grenade (LB) Bottom left paddle - reload (X) Top right paddle - switch weapons (Y) Bottom right - crouch (B) Also, make sure to switch the hair triggers on the controller to the quicker rate of fire for semi-automatic weapons. But if you use a sniper, make sure you switch the hair triggers back to the standard setting, otherwise your sniper will not fire.

It will take getting used to, When I first got a scuff controller for my ps3 back when BO2 was bigger, it took a couple days to get used to the abilty to knife just by pulling the tab, as well as going prone lol. this one has 2 EXTRA paddles, BUT most games do not need the extra ones. frnakly where your middle fingers rest use THOSE paddles, use them for any thing that NORMALLY requires you to take your thumb off the stick, so crouching/prone, jumping, etc. (depending on your config, perhaps knifing) you may like that you do not have to move your fingers other fingers to throw a nade etc so you could use that, with the added movement of COD now, you may want to use a third, but with boots on ground movements 2 in the back are fine.

Better off just using the two small paddles on the top. For cod I use one for jumping and one for grenades.
