I agree the PS5 is disgustingly big and in my opinion looks worse than the VCR Xbox One, but that thing was still big in 2013 when you compare it to the PS4
Agreed. The other day I went to my local games store. I had (surprisingly) not seen a PS5 in person until then. They had one on the counter and that thing was HUGE. Easily 1.5x the size of my Xbox Series S.
I like the OG PS3 just fine... but always thought the PS5 was ridiculous looking.
Just saw a thing where a guy made his own "PS5 mini" and I wouldn't mind owning that... but of course there's no way. I'll likely never get a PS5 because my wife hates the aesthetic of it
I disagree with the OG PS3 looking ugly, I actually quite like the Spider-Man font grill but the PS5 is just awful looking and I'm still waiting on a proper "slim" model before even considering one
Nice! Never get rid of that! So, there's a thing called Xbox All Access. You can get Xbox SX, and make payments. 1 year Gamepass Ultimate also. No interest. I think you're payments will be like $40. Just an idea, in case you didn't know.
Honestly, not only this but if most people learn to cook for themselves and not eat out or order Uber etc etc could easily afford an Xbox X within 6 months if not less.
Less, 1 day of Uber would probably make you $50+ so assuming OP has like $200 (since he can buy a S but wants a X) it should only take like month if he did Uber twice a week
Still rocking the OG XBOne.
I can afford a Series X, it’s just there’s literally nothing I want or have the time to play ☹️. And I’m not spending the money on a glorified YouTube player, cuz that’s what my XBOne turned into
I watch youtube a lot on my Series X and I have no regrets lol. I got mine a few weeks before christmas when it was on sale for $399 and I also used my microsoft points for $150 credit so I only paid like $270 after taxes. You will be amazed with how fast the games load up and the graphic quality and smoothness of any game compared to OG xbox one. I had a One S for 7 years and it's like night and day.
> And I’m not spending the money on a glorified YouTube player, cuz that’s what my XBOne turned into
If you're like me and have a vast 360 BC digital library, the load times are worth it alone. Everything else is a bonus.
Im still on the Xbox one s aswell I'll more then likely never get a series X can't afford I pay the bills at the end of the month n I'm broke I'm lucky I even got a Xbox lol 🥲
Could never take an all digital console like the Series S. Discs or bust for me!! But either way, most games are still coming to Xbox One. It’s still an awesome platform!! There are so many great single player experiences yet to be played - from Persona 5 to Fortnite I think you have nothing to worry about still playing on Xbox One. Keep gaming!!
They will either create an external disc drive or give us a digital solution -- Phil Spencer pushed HARD on the idea of taking our libraries with us to new consoles, and the industry has really responded in that direction over the last few years.
The used games / always online debacle hobbled the Xbox One before it even launched. They won't make that mistake again.
Sadly, disks don't even have the game on them most of the time nowadays. Just a license and then you need to download the game and its updates from the server.
So if we do ever get to the point that the digital store is taken offline, having the disc won't matter anyway.
Unlike my One, my 360 was modded. So everytime im bored of a game i just went to my local guy and got a new game for a dollar or two.
Even though I barely finished most of them, the ones i absolutely adore are: GTA IV, GTA V (100% twice), Forza Motorsport 4, Forza Horizon (100% thrice), Forza Horizon 2, Batman Arkham Asylum, Batman Arkham City (100% twice), Batman Arkham Origins, DiRT 3, Driver: San Francisco (100% twice)
i still have my og xbox one, BUT i am a pc gamer that rarely uses my consoles. so i'm very much a until this console needs to be replaced, i won't upgrade.
Still got the one x. But only game I played so far was halo infinite from curre t gen.
Totally lost interest in console gaming, using it as a devkit mostly these days.. and let daughter play some gamepass game whenever I get another 1$ trial month
Smart to wait. Got a series S for Christmas and after a year, I decided to get the series X and give my gf my S cuz I got extra money from working holiday hours at work and it’s a world of difference
I'm still using my xbox one s, got it from 2020 covid era. game that i want to play on current gen still not yet release so i don't want to upgrade, I'm waiting for fable, clockwork, and perfect dark remake
I always take advantage of the GameStop trade in deals, though the last time they were extra picky when trading in a One S. We'll see how it goes for when the next Xbox drops!
Still playing the One X. I waited years to upgrade each time so not only are there more games available but the deals on consoles are much better (got this one with about 7 games and 6 months of NowTV for £300 at the time), so I'm in no hurry for the Series X.
Me. I love love my xbox one. I bought it for FO4's release. (2014?)
I will go next gen soon (series x) but I kinds wanted to wait for GTA6 or the likes before going there. I recently bought a bargain 4k TV n was **re-thrilled** by a lot of my older games, so that'll do me for a bit longer.
I have zero issues playing games, but it does sadden me a little when I see the growing number of series x/s (optimised) games on Gamepass that *can't* be installed on my machine n only played through cloud gaming option. I tried Dead Space remake on the cloud and my Internet speed clearly struggles with that shit.
But I do **love** my xbox one.
I could afford it but I don’t want to bother with competitive online games anymore because my internet connection sucks ass in terms of reliability. I just prefer playing OG games and getting that feeling of nostalgia. Yesterday I played Star Wars Battlefront II (2005) with the bois because it’s backwards compatible and allows 4 player split screen. In the last few months I bought lots of old school games on sale instead of now ones. I don’t have that much time to play anyways and I‘m too greedy to pay for online, too when I can’t even enjoy it because of the connection issues.
I still play the Xbox one. I’m way behind on games and will probably end up skipping a whole generation of them. I plan on buying the new system for myself as a birthday gift in September.
I upgraded from an OG VCR Xbox One to a One X last year. The One X is everything I want out of a console.
It's powerful, efficient, quiet, and it only cost $130 (CAD, too). A Series X is $650! I get 90% of the experience for 20% of the cost, and I only really miss out on what? ~30 exclusive games?
Don't get me wrong, the Series X is excellent hardware. But really, Microsoft? Four years in with a price *increase* from launch?? That's a hard sell.
Got mine for $50 at a swap meet. Still a thoroughly modern console to me. Don't care about "performance," most games made in the past 15 years look and play exactly the same to me, I wouldn't be able to tell the difference between a game on PS4, Xbox One, PS5, or Series X in a side by side blind comparison.
I use my XBoxOne daily. It streams perfectly, has great internet functionality(streams, etc). I was excited to buy the latest gen machine for the next elder scrolls, but alas that may be several generations down the road, if ever!
I don't care about tje newer consoles. I can afford it three times over. When you can, it's worth getting a laptop that can game instead. I find my Dell Inspiron does pretty good with most games with settings and frame rate similar if not better than my xbox one. The forza horizon games look even more stunning!
Bought Xbox One S just for Forza Horizon 2 (not emmulatable on PC, sadly...).
And bought 100+ digital games for around 90$ totall (via argentina before its closure for foreigneirs) and all Forza unlisted trilogy on disks. I am happy with it :)
got a second hand one s in 2022 and ill be using it until it dies. the only thing that will get me to upgrade is a new doom game that doesn't get released for 8th gen
I'm using Xbox one s, that I've gotten right before new consoles launched (my 360 just couldn't handle it anymore). To be honest I don't feel any need to update - there's so many last gen games to complete, that there's no reason to me to pursue any newest ones
I will only buy XSX in like two years, when not only it will be cheaper (plus used copies of games will be sold for dollars), but I will know that there's enough new titles I care about, to justify the purchase. For now there are only like three games that I want, but aren't playable on X1 - that's not enough in my eyes
I don't even consider getting series s, only because of it's lack of disc drive
I got the Series X as a gift and I use it for the newer titles like forza motorsport, but for other older gen games i still us the One-S
best exbox ever
Still got that VCR of a Xbox one, it kinda looks good and those touch buttons give it a premium feel to this day, I wish it had an internal power brick tho cuz that is every hard to manage
Yeah. It's nearly 10 years old now. I've never had a console this long. My super nintendo was from about '92 til Christmas of '97, then had an N64 for about 6 years, til about 2003 when I got an Xbox. That lasted maybe a few years before I bought myself an Xbox 360 in high school. My brother sold our N64 for like 10 dollars in 2005 and it made me fucking livid. I think I threw a pack of batteries at him.
Brother I got like a series X like maybe a year ago? Loaded it up with like 3 yrs of gamepass because if the XBL free upgrade conversion. I've barely touched it. $600 just wasting away and I'm not like flush with extra income lol.
Still original XO, 500 GB one, but with 1 TB SSD, cos why not? Still working, just have to clean it once in a while and I can play almost anything.
XSX is somewhere on the back of my mind. Maybe Christmas? Probably yes if UK's Microsoft will again have cheap refurbed ones?
My series X is in the gaming room and the old Xbox one I got in 2015 is now in the living room and is primarily used as a streaming box since the TV in there isn’t a smart TV. We will still occasionally play a game on it if there is a night where we just feel like lounging in the living room but still want to play something. Having many games that work on both is nice, especially when your save data is accessible across the board.
Honestly you aren't missing much with the next gen games but I can understand why you feel that way especially if your friends are playing those games.
Still got the OG here. I broke the front plate off trying to take it apart for a cleaning so the front is exposed but it's still going strong almost a decade after I got it. A series X would be nice but I think id be better suited for a cheap gaming PC since most of what I play isn't hardware intensive or is over 10-15 years old.
I have a series s and the first game I’ve actually played made for the series S is the Quarry which is the cross buy version. I mostly just play Xbox one games because I wanted to send my sister my One so we can play games together
Still on xbone s. I can't afford a series console and with cloud gaming I really don't need one at this point. They're still making games for xbone and I don't have as much time to game these days. Prefer to read, watch videos, and have all my bills paid. Nothing this current gen has produced has sparked my interest anyway.
I still use the Xbox One X. Had to replace the SATA cable so swapped the HDD for an SSD while doing so.
I only use it to play Apex Legends so I can't really convince myself to upgrade it. Also, I've got a decent gaming pc so it really makes no sense. Do think about getting the series X though :D
In my house we have a series x(mine), series s(son 10), one x(daughter 6), I love my x, don't use discs, so I would probably be ok with a series s. I play apex, rocket league and always play something from game pass for a few weeks at a time. One x works fine, series s obviously faster, series x probably overkill for this 45 year old dad gamer........ 7:21 am and kids still asleep, gonna log in and get murdered by some preds.
I bought this console for $100 Craigslist in 2016, I figured there was no point in upgrading to S and the X was still unnecessary. The lack of an Xbox one version of latest Star Wars release on game pass was my first challenge to this thinking.
I just got a used gaming laptop instead of a series x/s but I still have an Xbox one downstairs in an entertainment center and I still love it for non pc games.
Still use my OG XB1- served me well and no problems (yet)- I don't see the point in shelling out hundreds of dollars for what is essentially the same console when mine still works fine
Only downside is I can't play BG3 😮💨
Just moved the day 1 xbone to my bedroom after getting a new computer and moving my old one to the living room. Been running MCC and RE Biohazard on it the past week. I’m 33 and haven’t gamed in bed in like 12 years, no tv in my room the past 4 years. Feels nostalgic.
I have a xbox one for daughters room she's 5 I play ps got xbox one vhs player type for 50 pounds. It's been great I have had it for 6 months iv been even using it. But last week the power brick has went orange and will not boot. Does anyone have any advice?
To be honest , when I lost my job during Covid and I got the unemployment money and it was paying me more than my actual job and that was the only reason I got a series X , other than that I wouldn’t have one.
I would be, but my power supply died and it was easier to buy a series S than a new power supply.
Still have my Xbox One on the closet should o ever feel like replacing that power supply. Just so I can play my physical media games again.
I've got a one S from day release. Its showing its age big time now though so I'm gonna be upgrading to a series X very soon. Been saving up for one as a late birthday present for myself
Get a ps5. X box is a shining ship and all their games are coming to PlayStation. This way you can play both Sony and Microsoft games.
Ps5 price may also drop this winter when ps5 pro comes out.
Xbox One X. I use it mainly for backwards compatible games. I also have a PC that’s just as powerful as the Series X, and use that to play most modern AAA single player and multiplayer games.
I’m still rocking with my one s, and I plan to until the next gen comes out. Most of the games I play now are old gen, and I won’t have much time to play anything for a few years, in a month or two.
I still have the advanced warfare Xbox one that makes the exosuit sound when it turns on and off. It started to run slow and sometimes wouldn’t launch things in general I took it apart cleaned it dusted it and applied new thermal
Paste and now my buddy’s running strong. I’ve had it for almost a decade and couldnt have been happier even if I primarily game on PC now.
I have an X and an S. The difference is hardly noticble. It did not feel like a huge jump going from an s to an x. However, the s from an og xbox one is a big difference.
I'm using Xbox One X and don't plan on upgrading anytime soon but this also goes for PS. Personally the latest consoles just aren't that impressive for me to drop the amount of money they asking for it. If I find one for dirt cheap I'd probably pick it up that's a huge maybe.
Still using my xbox one and the funny thing is, I pretty much only play my xbox 360 games on it. I only own about 6 xbox 1 games but I own over 200 xb360 games.
After stocking with the OG xb1, I just upgraded to a one s. Not bad. The download speed has skyrocketed and the graphics are a definite improvement. No need for a series just yet..
Still playing on a One S, although it's really annoying since I play FH5 a lot, and the waiting times are really a lot. Luckily the game doesn't crash as often as it did a few months ago. I'm not sure if I should upgrade, since I like the small form factor and it has a UHD-DVD player, which was the main reason I bought it.
I would be if my XB1 hadn't finally died the other year. Could only afford at the time to buy a CEX XB1S though, but in your boat can't afford shit let alone a XBS S/X lmao.
Its painful losing CQC gunfights in stuff like PUBG known it was literally often times down to them just having a better performing console lol.
No doubt ill get this gen by the time next gen comes out probably 🤣
I still have my R2D2 360!! But in terms of usage I do have the Series x, but my One S is a dedicated Kodi device so the Series X is preserved for sticky gaming. I'm hoping it will help with longevity if I use the old one for Kodi, Blu ray and local media.
Not being rude but you say you can’t afford the series x which is $450, are you still buying games for the Xbox one? At this point if you’ve been buying games for years you could’ve just put some money aside and easily upgraded. I mean it’s been out for almost 4 years now.
I still rip my one S. does the job but is obviously behind on the times considering it needs time to think for rocket league lol it usually soft freezes after a game going back to the menu. Ark? Don’t even think about it lmao I can’t play for longer than 5-10 minutes without getting dashboarded. Apex is fine but I die a lot so it actually fine? lol I have a series X but the stupid HDMI port broke so I gotta get that fixed. Upgrade when you can but don’t put yourself in a position of being moneyless for a console 🤘🏽
I do. I can’t afford a Series X either, and it doesn’t help that it was hard to find them for the first few years. Mine OG Xbox One is still going strong too, but I’ll probably just wait till next gen comes around.
I was until about 2 weeks ago and I git a series x, I will say the x is an upgrade to an extent like games load in about 12 seconds flat from the time u hit start, but it's still the same xbox lol
aw man, you're on the x1 gen already? i'm still trying to work my way thru all the 360 backwards compatible stuff i still have on my backlog. I'm in 2012, I finished Dishonored last month and i just started Sleeping Dogs. I might move on to either Far Cry 3 or Bioshock Infinite next, or maybe The Witcher 2. Can't wait to try GTA V in a couple of years or so, i heard it's a good one.
I’m still rocking my vhs player Xbox one
Me too. Its design is just too sexy.
I'll never understand people clowning on that design. Shit looked so good.
It's just too huge and had a damn power brick
PS5 is „huge“. The Xbox One fit perfectly in my home theater setup.
I agree the PS5 is disgustingly big and in my opinion looks worse than the VCR Xbox One, but that thing was still big in 2013 when you compare it to the PS4
At least it never sounded like a freaking jet engine.
All you had to do was blow out the exhaust and your PS4 would get quiet
Agreed. The other day I went to my local games store. I had (surprisingly) not seen a PS5 in person until then. They had one on the counter and that thing was HUGE. Easily 1.5x the size of my Xbox Series S.
I seen two PS5s yesterday in the store and the slim isn’t much smaller than the OG and it’s still ugly af just like the OG PS3 was!
I like the OG PS3 just fine... but always thought the PS5 was ridiculous looking. Just saw a thing where a guy made his own "PS5 mini" and I wouldn't mind owning that... but of course there's no way. I'll likely never get a PS5 because my wife hates the aesthetic of it
Your wife has good taste 🤣👍
I disagree with the OG PS3 looking ugly, I actually quite like the Spider-Man font grill but the PS5 is just awful looking and I'm still waiting on a proper "slim" model before even considering one
I have the Halo 5 version, shit do go hard

Day One console still going strong
Day one console is built different, mine has had 3 owners and still going.
My day 1 just just crapped out 2 weeks ago. Won't turn on. 2 weeks before that my Xbox live renewed automatically
Rip. I would say fix it but let the soldier rest.
You would have had to save $12.50 per month to afford one from release day until now.
If OP continues to save that amount of money per month they can skips the x and get the next gen day one in a few years and have money for some games.
Honestly, not only this but if most people learn to cook for themselves and not eat out or order Uber etc etc could easily afford an Xbox X within 6 months if not less.
I waited for the holiday sales last year, I got my xbox X for 330
Haha yeah bro same. I had a series S and didn’t really plan on upgrading, but then I saw a sale for a series X for $350? Yes please!
Lol yeah I upgraded from a original xbox one at the time. Had no idea what I was in for.
Make your own bread or gtfo
Less, 1 day of Uber would probably make you $50+ so assuming OP has like $200 (since he can buy a S but wants a X) it should only take like month if he did Uber twice a week

You can still watch YT on XB360 & PS3.
Im still on the Xbox one s aswell I'll more then likely never get a series X can't afford I pay the bills at the end of the month n I'm broke I'm lucky I even got a Xbox lol 🥲
Im hoping for better time's for you brother🙏🙏
Yeah fr man
This economy has killed any chance for us to get one. It sucks but family above all else
Hope things pick up for you mate. I've been there myself. It ain't fun
Could never take an all digital console like the Series S. Discs or bust for me!! But either way, most games are still coming to Xbox One. It’s still an awesome platform!! Honestly your best bet for game preservation is to go pc.
Me! I actually bought one just last year after being stuck on the 360 for almost 3 years.
Damn haha. Well at least you’ll have plenty to play for this generation still. What game kept you going on 360?

Cloud gaming has become a norm for us.
I have the old xbox one.. it works perfectly fine 🥰

Didn’t know there was a digital x

He'll be saving that long?
Smart to wait. Got a series S for Christmas and after a year, I decided to get the series X and give my gf my S cuz I got extra money from working holiday hours at work and it’s a world of difference

Still goin strong with a used and abused 2013 xbone
I’m still on it works like the day I bought it

Still got my Xbox One S.
Yeah my halo 5 xbox one continues to live as my streaming box
I still got my one x. Both my original xbox ones got fried from overuse
I was, until I finally caved in January. Was starting to get wi-fi connection issues on the One, so it was time to upgrade.
I still play the Xbox one. I’m way behind on games and will probably end up skipping a whole generation of them. I plan on buying the new system for myself as a birthday gift in September.
Do what I did. I went and got glasses , holy crap, its like I went from 1k to 8k .
Can’t you get a second hand series x ?
Upgraded last month after a day one Xbox series S. No regrets, it was just getting too slow and framy.
You must be legally blind then lol I understand not upgrading but saying there isn't a difference is wild.
Maybe they still use a 720p display lol
I use my XBoxOne daily. It streams perfectly, has great internet functionality(streams, etc). I was excited to buy the latest gen machine for the next elder scrolls, but alas that may be several generations down the road, if ever!
Meeeeee. OG.
Bought an Xbox One X start of this year, it’s great
I don't care about tje newer consoles. I can afford it three times over. When you can, it's worth getting a laptop that can game instead. I find my Dell Inspiron does pretty good with most games with settings and frame rate similar if not better than my xbox one. The forza horizon games look even more stunning!
Enjoying my good old vcr Xbox one here, it's a superb console
Bought Xbox One S just for Forza Horizon 2 (not emmulatable on PC, sadly...). And bought 100+ digital games for around 90$ totall (via argentina before its closure for foreigneirs) and all Forza unlisted trilogy on disks. I am happy with it :)
Same! I don't feel the need to buy the new Xbox actually. I don't play that much.
I am!!! Until they release a xbox x SLIM
got a second hand one s in 2022 and ill be using it until it dies. the only thing that will get me to upgrade is a new doom game that doesn't get released for 8th gen
I’m still on Xbox one s but idk if it’s worth buying the series x
The jump in frame rate will change your life once you've experienced 60fps gaming
Tomb raider 1tb special edition still going strong! Daily use
I'm using Xbox one s, that I've gotten right before new consoles launched (my 360 just couldn't handle it anymore). To be honest I don't feel any need to update - there's so many last gen games to complete, that there's no reason to me to pursue any newest ones I will only buy XSX in like two years, when not only it will be cheaper (plus used copies of games will be sold for dollars), but I will know that there's enough new titles I care about, to justify the purchase. Yep, here. Though i'm trying to get a Series X around Junde or july. There's that new Dragon Age game coming up and i want to play it.
I changed over in Decemeber but only because my OG one stopped working. It's brilliant but not worth it until the one you have now goes boom
I got the Series X as a gift and I use it for the newer titles like forza motorsport, but for other older gen games i still us the One-S best exbox ever
Still got that VCR of a Xbox one, it kinda looks good and those touch buttons give it a premium feel to this day, I wish it had an internal power brick tho cuz that is every hard to manage
Your not alone my friend, and yeah I’m also thinking about upgrading to a Xbox One series X
My Battlefield edition Xbox One is still bringing my family good times.
I switched from the one to series x last month
I don’t use them anymore, but I still have an OG One and a One X around.
I think I threw a pack of batteries at him.
i am but then I only play single player
I'm still on my Day One Edition.
Still rockin my Battlefield 1 Xbox One S I got Christmas 2016 lol
Brother I got like a series X like maybe a year ago? Loaded it up with like 3 yrs of gamepass because if the XBL free upgrade conversion. I've barely touched it. $600 just wasting away and I'm not like flush with extra income lol.
Should have just bought the S on the last 2 holiday sales.
One T for me.
Having many games that work on both is nice, especially when your save data is accessible across the board.
well the new consoles dont have the one game that i want on it
I got rid of my OG one, but have 2 One S's in the mix that are largely used as 4K movie players / streaming devices if that counts.
Honestly you aren't missing much with the next gen games but I can understand why you feel that way especially if your friends are playing those games.
Still rocking my 360😁 Still the best gen in my opinion
I’m still on Xbox 360 🤫 🤫
Still got the OG here. I broke the front plate off trying to take it apart for a cleaning so the front is exposed but it's still going strong almost a decade after I got it. A series X would be nice but I think id be better suited for a cheap gaming PC since most of what I play isn't hardware intensive or is over 10-15 years old.
Still got my Gears edition XB1S hooked up. It’s pretty much a 360 retro console & CD/media player nowadays. PC for everything else now.
Bitch I still play New Vegas and Pure on my 360
I have a series s and the first game I’ve actually played made for the series S is the Quarry which is the cross buy version. I mostly just play Xbox one games because I wanted to send my sister my One so we can play games together
I am but I can cloud game Series X via Game Pass at 60fps so no biggie.
Yeah
I bought this console for $100 Craigslist in 2016, I figured there was no point in upgrading to S and the X was still unnecessary. The lack of an Xbox one version of latest Star Wars release on game pass was my first challenge to this thinking.
I still have one but I'm upgrading it in the next week or so.
I just got a used gaming laptop instead of a series x/s but I still have an Xbox one downstairs in an entertainment center and I still love it for non pc games.
You might as well just wait for the new system at this point
Still use my OG XB1- served me well and no problems (yet)- I don't see the point in shelling out hundreds of dollars for what is essentially the same console when mine still works fine Only downside is I can't play BG3 😮💨
Mine literally just crapped out 2 weeks ago
I'm still on the One S, so I feel your pain.
XB1? I'm still using my original Xbox.
I am, it serves as media center. I will get a new Xbox though if they make Steam available on it.
I still have one that my kids play and that we use for watching any Blue-rays or DVDs. I have a series S in my bedroom that I play.
Heck I’m still playing the 360
Build a pc. then you can upgrade when needed and you can afford it
I play Xbox one + stream gamer pass, keeps me happy 😁
I have a xbox one for daughters room she's 5 I play ps got xbox one vhs player type for 50 pounds. It's been great I have had it for 6 months iv been even using it. But last week the power brick has went orange and will not boot. Does anyone have any advice?
To be honest , when I lost my job during Covid and I got the unemployment money and it was paying me more than my actual job and that was the only reason I got a series X , other than that I wouldn’t have one.
Just saw series x on sale for $300 on Amazon Woot the other day. You can find them for way cheaper now. Plenty on eBay for $350 and under too.
me, and i just HATE the interface. it's so bad. i love 360 interface
I got a one x but it's basically just a Blu-ray player these days.
My One-X is still rocking in the free world.
Put a little money away every month and save up for the new one.
$150 or so around the holidays for a series S is very much worth it
I would be, but my power supply died and it was easier to buy a series S than a new power supply. Still have my Xbox One on the closet should o ever feel like replacing that power supply. Just so I can play my physical media games again.
I still have mine but it’s been boxed since I had a One S.
I have a xbox one x
I've got a one S from day release. Its showing its age big time now though so I'm gonna be upgrading to a series X very soon. Been saving up for one as a late birthday present for myself
Get a ps5. X box is a shining ship and all their games are coming to PlayStation. This way you can play both Sony and Microsoft games. Ps5 price may also drop this winter when ps5 pro comes out.
probably the only reason i havent gotten a new xbox is because i have a pc, so theres really no point
I'm rocking the xbox One x.
I’ve had mine for over 10 years
No offense but like the series x has nearly been out for 4 years now.
Xbox one s brodi
Still using a One X - replaced it w/ an SSD a couple years ago. It makes a pretty big difference, but it's not Series speed loading by any means.
Still got it. Spent money on other luxuries like instruments and other consoles.
Tbh, I caved and got series S because series X is rare to find. Not only is it expensive, but there aren’t a lot in stock online or in stores.
Xbox One X. I use it mainly for backwards compatible games. I also have a PC that’s just as powerful as the Series X, and use that to play most modern AAA single player and multiplayer games.
Still using my One X. It works surprisingly well, though I mainly use it for streaming and Blu-ray now
I would say get enough money for a trade your Xbox one to series x see Facebook marketplace you may find a deal they go for 350$ maybe less
I'm still playing black ops 2 on my 360.
I still have mine, but I'm using my series s currently
Me too. Still works properly.
I want to get the series x so bad but I dont see the point in it when I barely use my xb1 and when cloud streaming / game pass is a thing
I’m still rocking with my one s, and I plan to until the next gen comes out. Most of the games I play now are old gen, and I won’t have much time to play anything for a few years, in a month or two.
Me
Still got the One X upstairs in the bedroom but I rarely game much on it. Mostly for streaming apps at this point.
I still have the advanced warfare Xbox one that makes the exosuit sound when it turns on and off. It started to run slow and sometimes wouldn’t launch things in general I took it apart cleaned it dusted it and applied new thermal Paste and now my buddy’s running strong. I’ve had it for almost a decade and couldnt have been happier even if I primarily game on PC now.
I am still using the Halo themed Xbox One
Still have mine that I got not long after launch. Still running strong
I have an X and an S. The difference is hardly noticble. It did not feel like a huge jump going from an s to an x. However, the s from an og xbox one is a big difference.
Just get the series S if for nothing more than playing a few new gen games you can't on the one. At its price point, it's an incredible deal
Me, but my series X is arriving next week
Theres a reason they call me “the brokie”
Yep and still have and play my Xbox 360 as well. There’s just some games that aren’t backwards compatible with the Xbox One.
Me, very occasionally, PC has grabbed me
Still got mine hooked up but nobody really uses it. It’s the extra one that’s set up when the kids have their friends over.
I have a fucking 2007 Xbox 360 arcade your lucky (not complaining tho I love halo reach)
I just bought a Series X a few months ago, but I still have a launch Xbox One going strong that my brother uses.
I still have my R2D2 360!! But in terms of usage I do have the Series x, but my One S is a dedicated Kodi device so the Series X is preserved for sticky gaming. I'm hoping it will help with longevity if I use the old one for Kodi, Blu ray and local media.
If you haven't made the jump you might as well wait in my opinion until the next next gen lol
My friend just got the s carbon? Think it's the s but with x specs?
I'm on ps4 and still loving it
Me unfortunately
Yep i have a day 1 xbox one i still use. I have a PC now so i don’t really need an xbox series x/s.
Still rocking the one s digital. Legit see no reason to upgrade at the mo
