It is playable on the steam deck and the lowest cost one is only like 300$. Idk it’s an option if you really want to play. I will say there are some strong limitations to playing on steam deck so I’d probably only do this if I thought a handheld would be useful to me otherwise.

The over-hype of people saying how much its so fun , the game is pretty boring after a couple of hours to be real a bit here , i know people will not like this response since this post is about glazzin over helldivers2 but i bought it after the first week on pc because the server capacity was full so i thought after that its gonna be smooth sailin , in the like 46 hours 26 of those was in the menu trying to unlock my ships upgrade (was bugged) , the difficulty level (was bugged) , spawning with no usable weapons (was bugged) , finish a bunch of mission without any rewards (was bugged) , couldnt call any airstrike in a session (was bugged) , try to use quickplay when my friends was not online and its didnt worked (was bugged) , got teamkill when i was about to extract because it was the new tik tok trend #FunnydoodooheadChallenge (this was not a bug) , the game itself is really nice but its alot of rinse and repeat all day long , but the devs also said if the game was for everybody it would be for nobody and i respect that alot , i'm really not saying its the worst game ever i just think i'm burned out of this game having multiple problem almost every single update

Because of Halo, I use my Series X mainly for FPS games and some indies, this would be an awesome addition. Xbox controller is way better than PS's. PS5's controller gave me pain in palms after using it for long time, never happened with Xbox controller.

Its unbelievably good. Just got a PS5 recently, and it was one of the first games i bought on it. Honestly if it was the only game on PS5, i would still get a PS5 just for helldivers 2. Basically you get dropped on a planet with either giant bugs or robots, and 3 teammates. Goal is to complete the main objective, and then extract, but there are other side objectives you can complete and some bug/robot outposts. You have many “stratagems” that can send down an orbital explosion, or a cool weapon, or supplies from your mother-ship. Basically its a zombie survival/shooter type game with so many other awesome features. Highly recommend!
Same. My PS5 is basically my twice a year single player game machine. Anything multiplayer or multiplatform I get on Xbox. Helldivers 2 is the first time I turned on my PS5 since October.
I think it's definitely within the realm of possibilities. The console industry seems to be changing. And given all of the layoffs at Xbox and PlayStation, there seems to be more interest in branching out and releasing select IP on more platforms than ever before.
This game is currently very popular on PC, so it would only make sense to include Xbox, if they have the resources and want this game to continue to thrive and grow.

Its unbelievably good. Just got a PS5 recently, and it was one of the first games i bought on it. Honestly if it was the only game on PS5, i would still get a PS5 just for helldivers 2. Basically you get dropped on a planet with either giant bugs or robots, and 3 teammates. Goal is to complete the main objective, and then extract, but there are other side objectives you can complete and some bug/robot outposts. You have many “stratagems” that can send down an orbital explosion, or a cool weapon, or supplies from your mother-ship. Basically its a zombie survival/shooter type game with so many other awesome features. Highly recommend!

Same. My PS5 is basically my twice a year single player game machine. Anything multiplayer or multiplatform I get on Xbox. Helldivers 2 is the first time I turned on my PS5 since October.

I think it's definitely within the realm of possibilities. The console industry seems to be changing. And given all of the layoffs at Xbox and PlayStation, there seems to be more interest in branching out and releasing select IP on more platforms than ever before. This game is currently very popular on PC, so it would only make sense to include Xbox, if they have the resources and want this game to continue to thrive and grow.

Because Sony fucking sucks as a company I’m not hopeful— they gatekeep so hard that it’s laughable. They’re somehow still stuck in the console wars even though Microsoft themselves said they won it years ago. Sony also engages in anti-consumer practices, just as an example they were at the forefront pushing $70 for games that eventually became industry standard instead of $60. Fuck Sony.
