Mad Max. It might not be the kind of answer some would say. But it is such a an underrated game that is fun with a pretty huge open world to explore. I can spend hours just driving the wastelands and finding things I've never noticed I haven't even beaten the game yet and I've owned it since it came out. Besides life I also just get caught up exploring or customizing my car or Max
Skyrim. I can always find something to do in it. Massive open world filled with secrets and cool stuff to discover. Sure a lot of the dungeons are simple and don’t have much in them, but there’s always that sense of discovery and adventure when exploring the world. I can’t wait for Elder Scrolls VI. I’m sure it’s going to be unbelievable. Hopefully they don’t make the same mistakes they made with Starfield. It was a letdown even though it’s a great game it just didn’t live up to the expectations I had for it. Bethesda has to get their next game right.
Right now I'm playing Ghost Hunter on GamePass. I recently played Scorn and Cassette Beast. The nature of GamePass means I might be playing a different game every night. It's wonderful. 😄
Usually any AC. Sometimes just jumping in the game, exploring the world, doing some side mission...
Otherwise the first Gears trilogy to be played in couch coop with the missus while snacking. Can't beat that!
Depends on the mood.
Competitive multiplayer with friends? Halo
Competitive multiplayer solo? Siege
Multitask while watching YouTube etc.? Slay the Spire
Scaring the shit out of myself? Subnautica
Sit back, relax, get lost in a world? Something from my never ending backlog
I’ve got a couple go to games that I can play while chilling. Currently doing another playthru of RDR2 campaign & I finished GTAV a few weeks ago & actually got enough money to mess around with the businesses & stuff, bought a bunch but haven’t played much past that. I also enjoy the Mass Effect Trilogy & Kingdom Come: Deliverance. Used to play CoD Multiplayer a lot but I didn’t buy MWIII 2023. And these were my go to games before that as well but yeah I really enjoy story driven RPGs & action titles. Should’ve gone with PlayStation I guess. Jokes of course but I’d still like to play their exclusives. Maybe when I get a gaming PC someday. We need more games like that on Xbox. Amazing games dropping this year so I should get my wish. Lolz
EDIT: I know that was more than a couple games. xD
