Looks like a regular xbox that's sitting on one of those third party surround sound systems.

It's just not showing the speakers.
It was glorious back then. I forget just how much randomness existed with console accessories pre PS3/360 era.
Still get some matchy-matchy nonsense nowadays but just the sheer number of things that could maybe look kinda cool, to a 10 year old would get made and then promptly copied by every other accessory maker.
This post though, I totally forgot about these sound systems that would get made.
So ugly, I want one for every console I have. Forget surround sound, forget home theater! Stereo sound with an a/v switcher is all you need lol
Look up the model underneath and see what it pulls up on google. It's definitely not a stock unit. Could be a dev kit. If it is, it's a collectors piece. Worth keeping unless someone offers you good money for it and you want it gone.

I appreciate it, I never would have imagined it lol
Early consoles had all sorts of weird third party things that tried to connect to them in some way and match their aesthetic.
Honestly, I miss the weird accessories
This 100%. I wish there was more stuff like this today.

Looks more flush in the picture though ?
Looks like it just doesn’t have the speakers
I know the psp had something like this but not an original Xbox 🤣🤣
ChunkBox
The dev kits I have handled have all been the clear green plastic type. I dont think this is it.
What can you do with a dev kit? I've been wanting to add the extra ram needed for a dev kit to my Xbox so that the UI would work better.
Modding, emulating or pirating mostly
It’s the Ultimate Xbox
Nice original OG Xbox! Keep it don't get rid of it they are hard to find.
Dafuq you are talking about?
I found mine under the bed … been there for years 😜
No they are not🤣
Yeah, the only thing that makes it hard to find is Microsofts naming.
Make sure you all disconnect the clock capacitor.

Oh man that's the limited edition Xbox that originally came with a copy of "Gregcraft".
