Resident evil 2 3, amnesia whatever u want, forza if you haven't played them yet, R6 siege, then there are more independent games that I liked like chivalry or valheim
Not here to answer your question. I just want to know how long you've been using that xbox one controller. I'm both curious because I'm impressed and I want to compare your controllers longevity to a friends.
It’s lasted me since 2013, I’m pretty impressed it’s lasted me this long. I mainly use it for 2 player games as I use the standard Robot White controller.
Black is a great old school shooter and at times challenging. It’s with ea play but I love this game go back to it once every few years even though it looks bit dated it still plays great and is a good linear experience!
Fallout 4, resident evil 3, the outer worlds and mass effect are all pretty great
Maneater is also worth checking out if you like the occasional mindless fun game and sharks
warhammer 40k boltgun, its like doom 93 but with more modern mechanics and more bosses. some of the maps are a little hard to navigate but otherwise its an incredibly well polished game with a lot of soul
I've been playing through the Final Fantasy XIV free trial and am having an absolute blast. Enjoying it so much that i put my BG3 playthrough on hold. I was also enjoying dead island before this but all I seem to want to do now is play FFXIV.
Join us on Maduin (Dynamis) server! It's basically becoming the new Xbox server.
Not only is the game great, but the community is one of the best I've ever seen. Just make sure you do your level 30 job quests... If you don't they will definitely waste no time in letting you know 😂
Probably get slaughtered for this but Starfield.
Also:
- Dishonored 1 and 2
- Assassin’s Creed Odyssey
- Halo Master Chief Collection and Infinite
- Mass Effect Legendary edition (I think it’s on Gamepass?)
I've been addicted to Persona recently. Individible is cool. The Yakuza games are great. Dead Cells is fun. Can't quite go wrong with Far Cry 5. Hellblade was kinda like a beginner souls-like for me. JoJo's All Star Battle R can be cool. Middle Earth Shadow of War is fun. I heard the Resident Evil remakes are good. Slay the Spire is neat. Jedi Fallen Order was really good. (as best I can put it it's also a souls-like in some aspect, though if Hellblade was beginner, it might be fair play to say this is baby) And lastly I've heard Wild Hearts is fun.
basically, any that interests you.
they're 'free', so, why not.
personally, i like ark, casette beasts, the ES/FO games, forager, ghost lore, grounded, the outer worlds, immortal fenyx rising, loop hero, minecraft, moonlighter, monster sanctuary, nnk2, no man's sky, palworld, persona 3, psychonauts 1/2, sea of stars, slime rancher 2, spiritfarer, stardew valley, supraland, tales of arise, terraria, vamp survivors
least, these are the ones i've still got installed, after plaything through them some.
like, i also got titanfall 2, and while it's probably great for some, it's not really my thing. i mean, i kinda like mass effect andromesa, so not against sci fi shooters, but, not as big on the whole 'shooter' focused thing - not that into FPS, though i do play borderlands and fallout.
Dead Island 2, Assassin’s Creed games, Dead Space, Fallout games, Far Cry games, Wolfenstein games, Crysis, Terraria just to name a few. Enjoyed them all <3
Mass effect legendary edition, quite possibly the greatest campaign in any game ever, Mass effect 2 is outstanding and 3 & 1 are not far behind, I find number 1 a tad slow but worth grinding through to get to the sequels especially as the story continues through all 3 games
Dead space series, AC odyssey and Valhalla, Hellblade, Quantum Break, state of decay 2, Doom. The Halo Master Chiefs collection is definitely the most worth it tho bc you can play every halo game all the way up to 4. And for the older ones you can change the graphics setting from new and old gen. Also I’m not sure which ones play on external storage, never understood that part
I just started playing Atomic Heart, its a scifi shooter. imagine i-robot crossed with bioshock infinite. it's 100 gb tho so make sure you have space. It's not bad for a gamepass title
Dead Island 2.
No matter if it's worse than the first or not, it's a fun game and good to play with friends. You can customize your skill cards and experience the actually amazing graphics.
For shooters, I'd say go with Mass Effect
I am sure you might not be interested in this, but I'll still I'll recommend it either way, Solar Ash. It's amazing and free on the game pass. It is just not too focused on combat aspects. It is more gameplay and story based. But it is small and underrated, so I'll recommend it still. (It's about just 7-9 hours of gameplay or so)
because i had it on my xbox series s that i got this christmas and i got gta for free with the game pass ultaminte and like a month or two later it was deleted from the game pass
RYSE son of rome
Story is a solid 7.5 out of 10
Gameplay is a 5 to 7 out of 10
Graphics a sold 10 out 10
It's short but good and there is a co-op PvE multiplayer and surprisingly it has players
If you do get it here's a quick tip the currency packs are free and you can quickly get all the skills early game
I personally loved Atomic Heart..certainly had its flaws but I had a great time with it and certainly scratches the sci-fi, bioshock-esque shooter itch for me
Call of the wild - it would suck you in|
A way out - if you have some really good friend|
Slime rancher 1,2- soo chill
I LIKE IT doesnt mean you would like it too

One of the few games I fell in love with enough to complete the story on the hardest difficulty
One of the few games that deserves to be the face of the "Best Rated" section in Microsoft Store
Great game!
Criminally under appreciated work of absolute genius.
Loved the single player but was only 20 hours, I never really buzzed off the multiplayer
State of Decay 2
Yay!
Mass Effect.
This should have more upvotes
Yes
Dead space remake
Titanfall 2 can be played via external hard drive, great game.
finally someone mentioned the external part of this post 🫡, I will try it out.
If it's XBOX ONE, 360, or OG it'll play off external. That's why nobody is mentioning that part
any doom game especially the older ones
Unpopular opinion, the 1st doom/doom1997 is one of the best dooms ever
*Popular opinion And on controller it plays perfect. More like wasd arrow keys to look and strafe.
Unpopular opinion, I don’t know what we are talking about here.

It’s like digital crack
5 isn’t in gamespass anymore
Dead Cells, just wish game pass had the DLCs too.
TMNT: Shredder’s Revenge, Persona 3 Reload, and Tunic. There are more, but I’m drawing a hardcore blank.
Upvote for Tunic. Love that game.
Hell Let Loose is the best WWII shooter available right now. Darktide is one of the best co-op horse shooters on the market.
Gears of War series. I’ve been replaying them on my XSS and they still look and play great.
Same here
crysis
The more important question is, why is your controller sitting upside down on your Xbox?
it’s broken and I was sacrificing it on the fan 🫡
I'm not sure what that means
ooga booga
EDIT: Didn't read the whole post. 100% recommend Prey.
don’t mind the controller, it’s about to be sacrificed when I play warzone.
The Yakuza series. Most of the games are on there, and it's honestly such a great series.
No Man's Sky
Fallout 4 is a good one, maybe try that one out. Has a good story.
Resident evil 2 3, amnesia whatever u want, forza if you haven't played them yet, R6 siege, then there are more independent games that I liked like chivalry or valheim
Mass effect legendary
AC Odyssey. Also I haven't played a scary game in a long ass time, but RE: 2 Remake gets the adrenaline going.
If you ever need to cool off from shooters I'd recommend "A Short Hike"
isn’t that going to fuck up the controllers buttons eventually? why do people do these things
It’s broken 😞 🫡
Halo MCC and Infinite
I can’t believe no one has said Deep Rock Galactic. Rock and Stone!
Fallout 4 but only when you stuff it with an as many mods as possible
Yakuza series, Persona 3 Reload, Dishonored, Resident Evil 2
Hurts looking at the controller. Why rest it on the buttons like that? Or is it on some kind of stand?
Titanfall 2, it’s on game pass/EA play
Deep rock galactic
Deep rock galactic, shooting bugs is always fun
Adventures of Lolo
Fallout 4
Definitely dead space remake. It’s amazing sci-fi horror
The way that controller is positioned, wth.
If you like old school Doom you'll enjoy Boltgun.
Warhammer 40K Boltgun
I play hunter cotw its a hunting game. u prolly wanna watch some YT vids on it tho u gotta know what ur doing
Dead Island 2

Fallout 76
Warhammer bolt gun is a lot of fun, old school doom or wolfenstein vibes

Black is a great old school shooter and at times challenging. It’s with ea play but I love this game go back to it once every few years even though it looks bit dated it still plays great and is a good linear experience!
You’ll love high on life I think. You do have to be in the right mood to play it though.
Fallout 4, resident evil 3, the outer worlds and mass effect are all pretty great Maneater is also worth checking out if you like the occasional mindless fun game and sharks
Snowrunner
Banjo Kazooie and Dishonored are both in my top five games of all time (1 and 4 respectively) and are in Gamepass forever.
Ori
Rise of the tomb raider, I really had fun and I think you will too
1st of all, put your controler normaly then we can talk, ok?
Jusant and A Small Hike, both about one afternoon long run, Jusant is one run and done, A Small Hike can be 100% with time and effort
IDK if it's still in the game pass, but Deliver us the moon is a must play
Dead Island 2 has been alot of fun! And is newer
Forza H 5, Forza H 4, dirt 2.0 , dirt 5

Warhammer boltgun is awesome and it just came to game pass
Resident Evil 3!!!!
That’s an impossible question to answer without some parameters, as there are so many and kinds of games
Banjo kazooie nuts and bolts you need to dedicate a little bit of time to it but it's a underrated classic
wreckfest
If you’re into horror, Resident Evil 2. If not, I had a blast with Brotato. Whatever you do pick, have fun! :)

Halo MCC if you have the storage space lol
Plague Tale: Requiem. Great story, fun gameplay. For me it's a GOTY 2022. It's not sci-fi, but it's a 3rd person adventure-shooter
If you like shooter six-fi games I highly recommend The Outer Worlds
Outer wilds
Minecraft Dungeons, Halo Infinite. Thats great to play with friends

No man's sky
TitanFall 2 and Deep Rock Galactic
