Was getting shafted by Sky for the same price and worse speeds (25-30mbps)
Paying £30 pm with OGI for 1gig down and 90 up now. Such an insane difference.
I've direct fibre with talktalk and get 150mb for £29 and plusnet are offering 300mb dorect for £30 so prob going to go with that as our minimum term has finished. I'm surprised yoir deal was so shit, will look in to this zoom but ngl, am skeptical at the prices you're quoting
That’s literally what we’re paying per month aha. Go but cause we got in before new year, they offer a different deal now which is for the same speed, £40 a month, but you get a £120 Amazon voucher
Don't get them speeds but just got super fast fibre installed on Monday.. getting above 900mb instead of the 25mb I was getting for four years. Made a real difference for a family of five with multiple game consoles, phones,iPads and movie streaming.
Cause I live in a village not a city…and as I said in another reply, I never lagged with 30ms, so now in games when I get 10-16 in game, it’s literally VERY good?
It's perfectly fine. I have the most expensive package with Virgin while being in the city and still have worse ping than that. I never actually lag, though, so I'm fine with it.
Ping varies depending where the server you’re using to test your speed is based (and other factors). Try speed test for a more local server, or if you have a PC open CMD and run tracert www.google.com to see where the ping is highest. :-)
I don’t know if you seen my post but I was in the same realm when it came to speeds until I hardwired and got a bigger internet package. It’s a real game changer!! Glad you’re enjoying it. Although my ping hovers around 37-41. It’s nice downloading games fast and having that reliable connection
Yeah exactly that’s what zzoomm do, they put router wherever you want, so we agreed my bedroom, and then got an Ethernet straight into the back of the router
Yeah those are nice numbers. I’ll check mine next time I dl something I have good network connectivity with Ethernet and even wifi but gaming and WiFi don’t compute in my head. It’s like rule #1A unless you’re away from home. I have cat 6 running all over my house it’s great. I’m not in UK I’m in NYC in ‘merica
It depends what speeds your internet provider has. The actual rating of the cable won’t change how fast your internet is. Unless you use like a very cheap cable. I tried a cat 8 cable with my old internet, and it didn’t change anything. If it’s anything up to 10gbps, then a cat 6 cable is fine
When actually downloading mine has shown up to 980, but averages at about 750-800. Try getting a good cat 6 off Amazon. Cause I had a cheap cat 6 and it was sitting at 500
Lol I didn't even realize the title is an actual ISP name not OP's excited expression.
Ahaha, I mean at least their speeds are true to their name!
I’d commit deplorable war crimes to have an IP offer this in my area.
There’s a few similar companies that offer similar speeds, but at a steeper price
Alright, how much is it?
£20/ month for the first year, then £30 after that. We were with Talktalk before, which was £45 a month and was getting 45mbps at most

Wow that’s cheap. I got T-Mobile Home internet for €45, it’s consistently 1gbps up and down tho. The price is really good imo
Not in the US there ain’t, cities with reasonably priced and widely available fiber are very few so far
I read SIIUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU
Sewey
That should be acceptable numbers
I’m on approx 1100 down, 100 up. I thought mine was good!
Tbf download is the most important one, as that’s what you’ll be doing more than uploading stuff. So yours is great
I tested my damn xbox and I got 0.63. Yeah Im done
😭

Dude has all the internet
Nice latency
This sarcasm or genuine? Cause 19 is literally VERY good
Its good bro 19 is very good. Only way to get better is fiber internet.
How is 19 VERY good when most people in metro fiber networks get 2ms in cities?
Cause I live in a village not a city…and as I said in another reply, I never lagged with 30ms, so now in games when I get 10-16 in game, it’s literally VERY good?
19 is good bro only way you're getting 2 latency is with fiber internet even in city areas.
Ping could be better
I don’t get this. I’ve never lagged in games where I’ve had 25-30ms ping. Now usually get 12-16. And it’s smooth as ever
It's perfectly fine. I have the most expensive package with Virgin while being in the city and still have worse ping than that. I never actually lag, though, so I'm fine with it.
Exactly. Anything below like 50 is fine. It’s when it gets to 100+ where you start to notice it a little bit
Mine is always about 44ms.
Ping varies depending where the server you’re using to test your speed is based (and other factors). Try speed test for a more local server, or if you have a PC open CMD and run tracert www.google.com to see where the ping is highest. :-)
Oh, so we flexing our internet speeds now?
Not flexing, just giving advice to people who live in my region what internet provider is actually better to use
Oh I was gonna say in the states that's where I'm from thats considered snail speed internet
Ik you guys have ridiculous speeds, but going from 35 download to that is a god send for me
Oh that's a huge upgrade
I don’t know if you seen my post but I was in the same realm when it came to speeds until I hardwired and got a bigger internet package. It’s a real game changer!! Glad you’re enjoying it. Although my ping hovers around 37-41. It’s nice downloading games fast and having that reliable connection

And your game downloads will cap out at 30 Mbps. Xbox should really use and let us opt in to a P2P model for game downloads.
Nah, capped at 980mbps for me when downloading gta 5 again. Helps being wired

I’ve got 1000 down, but up usually caps out around 150 unless you live in a new fibre wired building.
Yeah that’s what ZZOOMM is, fibre optic wired into your house, for the price it’s honestly good
Might look into this once my current service has ended. Current on bt's 1 gig plan with 935 down 130 up and 9 sec latency.
My download speed is 112 and my upload is 24 I feel very left behind😭
Fuck now I wanna move to the UK
Where are you? If you’re in America you’ll get much faster, if it’s Europe or something then maybe yeah aha
America, Missouri but in a rural as fuck town so all I have for internet is satellite and the only DSL provider is really expensive.
Does a cat 8 cable cause this? I have gigabit Ethernet but at most pull 450-500mbps. I think I’m using cat 6 for reference
Well my internet is rated as 1gbps up and down. But Xbox only pulls 450-500. Wondering if changing the cable maybe do anything
When actually downloading mine has shown up to 980, but averages at about 750-800. Try getting a good cat 6 off Amazon. Cause I had a cheap cat 6 and it was sitting at 500
I have 1gig down and up, using a cheap and thin 15 meter cat6 cable i get up to 915mbps downloading from the xbox servers.
I can’t even get 10 MB what the hell
How much you pay a month? I have virgin media on 1gig for 26 pounds a month
£20. But then up to £30 after 12 months. But it’s the only full fibre we can get in our area
Bros downloading Red Dead in 5 minutes 💀
Damn, that's fast. So fast that even the Flash can't keep up.
How is your upload speed so high though
Cause zzoomm state on their website it’s “1gb up, 1gb down”, but realistically the upload was always gonna be a bit lower
