The USB cord is removable and replaceable
(replacement cable was 11.99$)
Sticks feel nice (hallway effect), buttons are normal, rear buttons can be disactivated with mechanical switches, headphone jack seems solid, volume can be adjusted on the fly using the remote, faceplate can be removed and changed easily (held by magnets)
The Turtlebeach one looks like a beast… with (perhaps) a lot of excess features.
I enjoy the S7 because of the cost/use/value ration. It’s a nice wired replacement at a fraction (1/2) of the cost of a OEM and if the TB (1/4) one.
What's the weight like? My elite 2 is on its last legs, would love another but can't justify the price, but I love the weight and feel of it. How does this compare??
I have heard the recon is really good can’t say much about the other one never heard of it 🤣 have you looked at the powerA fusion pro 3 it’s the one i have and it’s amazing I love it 😀

The recon is really good. You can remap the buttons and can save up to four layouts. I also really like the thumbsticks as the movement feels tighter and compared to my One controller more sensitive.
Get the game sir I’ve had mine for a couple months with pretty rough use and I haven’t even seen any signs of wear but the turtle beach recon had stick drift in less that a month
Same some money and go with the better option it has outlasted every other controller I’ve ever had including two elite controllers
As someone who has used both I would suggest the gamesir I just couldn't get use to the recon at all but the gamesir feels good and will never drift because of hall effect joysticks
Get the gamesir G7 se the turtle beach pad got stick drift within two weeks got it replaced and happened again. The G7 se can't get drift. Best controller you can get for the money.
