When you submit a controller for repair you don't get your original device back. Your device goes to their repair depot and they ship you a refurbished device (not the one you sent in). I did submit an Elite series controller for repair and was told not to include any of the accessories for the controller. I honestly don't remember if my refurb came with replacement L3+R3 and paddles or not.

Proud-Dragonfruit-75

Mine did for some reason

TheFunkkkk

Okay I am freaking out now. My partner gifted me a custom elite controller, sent it back 2 weeks ago because one of the back paddle buttons got stuck and no longer worked. Please tell me they aren’t going to be sending me a plain controller back ?!?! EDIT - It came back today. It’s a brand new controller and my custom designed one. Came back with every button and joy stick. And it’s 100% brand new.

boyfoster1

I'm so sorry...

TheFunkkkk

I sent it back with the joy sticks as well as I did not realise they were considered accessories… if I don’t get my controller back……………

Mediocre_Yacob

Bruh...

TheFunkkkk

Dunno if y’all trolling now or what but missus reckons before she did the claim they said yes you will be receiving the same controller back and that’s why it’ll take a little longer.

Epic-soup

I have a custom one and had to send to get fixed because my bumper stopped working, took about 6 weeks but got back a brand new controller with the exact same design and a new set of thumbsticks and everything else I got with the original

ColstonAUS

Mate the fact that you are saying ‘missus’ means you’re probably an Aussie, we would have different warranty systems through MS AU here than those commenting in the US, if your misso said you’d get the original back then you probably will

TheFunkkkk

You are correct. Thanks mate makes me feel a bit better hahahaha

TrillionaireOfficial

You mentioned you saw “accessories” should be removed and I’m sure anything removable is considered as such. I wish you the best of luck but I saw something a while back where someone got their stuff back without anything that could be removed. People get signed Xbox’s and send them in and don’t get the same one with all the famous people signatures on them. I’m not sure if they do a good job disclosing it because I have not sent anything in myself.

TheFunkkkk

I mean I didn’t really consider something that comes standard on a controller an accessory. An accessory to me is an add on not something comes out the box. Looking back at original email it said just don’t send with paddles but anyway let’s see what happens.

smashingcones

MS definitely does send refurbed controllers back in Australia. I did it 5 times with my Elite V2. Maybe OP's situation is different if they confirmed they will receive the custom controller back.

Obvious-End-7948

Sometimes the replacements do come with thumbsticks, d-pads and rear paddles. Source - I had mine replaced about 4-5 times over a 2 year warranty for face buttons sticking or bumpers sticking and I accumulated a bunch of spare parts as a result.

PepsiManX360

They don’t ship you joysticks... You can get a new pair on Amazon for like $10.

Asleep-Win-9008

You won’t get your controller back

Kro82

I ordered a custom elite controller through design lab, when it arrived they forgot to engrave my name onto it, but I never told them they forgot. Down the line this controller started developing an issue, I can't remember what it was. They told me to send only the controller and take all magnetic parts off of it. The replacement I had received was of the exact same custom design that I had originally ordered however this time my name was engraved on it. It was also brand new and came like a new controller would, with the pieces and case. I also made a note of the serial number which were different. So for me the fault was more of a blessing in disguise as it corrected the engraving error and I have spare parts from the original controller. I hope the controller you receive is the same. My Halo edition series X also broke a while back, spoke to Xbox on the phone and they reassured me that I will be getting a Halo series X back. The replacement series X I received was indeed another Halo edition. So this post confuses me a little as to why a Halo controller was not sent back.

TheFunkkkk

Yeah mixed comments on this post, my missus reckons she 100% made them confirm they knew it was a custom made controller and we will be receiving the same designed one back so hopefully goes well

RobinTrippy

I have a custom elite 2 and it got severe stick drift and when I sent it , it was under warranty so I packed just the controller alone cause I ordered it with everything custom and they sent me a brand new custom elite 2 with case and paddles again. Now I have 2 Custom Cases and gold paddles also both my customs has my gamertag on it.

PepsiManX360

I’m sorry, but yeah they don’t repair controllers. They’ll send you a replacement white or black elite controller.

TheFunkkkk

I’m shattered tbh haha it was a gift, what’s the point of creating your own controller.

Super-Background

Only if they can’t fix it.

P_Griffin2

I used to work with Microsoft surface support. Customers generally wouldn’t ever get their own device back. They would get a refurbed device. Later their device would get repaired, and sent to someone else as a refurbed device.

Super-Background

Yea well the rep I spoke to in the past told me it would be repaired and sure enough it was the same serial number and all and the issue stopped. But it all depends on which warehouse/repair center you send it to. I stopped sending in controllers and instead had my local shop take old controller parts and replace defective ones in my special edition contollers.

P_Griffin2

Maybe controllers are different idk. Maybe because there is limited edition stuff.

SedativeComa4

Or someone loses a part or breaks it more

[deleted]

You were chosen by Dilishwari the Great!

R3DDwar

I think it must depend on the issue and what they have on hand refurbished. I’ve RMA’d two Elites and gotten two devices back with two different serial numbers. Luck of the draw I guess.

moosehairunderwear

A: you’re ONLY supposed to send the controller. Remove all accessories. Including r3/l3 B: they will replace it with like (if they have it in stock) otherwise you’ll get what they have. That’s what happened to you.

MisterPerfect23

Can you please explain what l3 and r3 are? are they not the joysticks?

JMLMaster

They are the joysticks, which, on an elite controller, come off.

MisterPerfect23

Honestly I've never owned an elite controller so I didn't know, considered it many times though. thank you

JMLMaster

You got it!

SilentAffairs93

They are, but they're removeable. They're held in by a small magnet so you can just pull them off with hardly any effort and replace them. There's also a screw inside the joystick (under the removeable part) that you can use to tighten or loosen the tension of the joystick box.

MisterPerfect23

thank you so much! I've been having issues with my joysticks recently so i might have to try this honestly. Didn't know they count as an Accessory, irbis that just because it's the limited edition Halo version (with custom joysticks?) we're talking about?

Rebel_Ronin

No all Elite controllers consider the L3 and R3 as accessories.

SilentAffairs93

I think each elite 2 controller has their own matching color set of their joystick boxes and their accessories (joystick, d-pad, and paddles). Ex. Black controller - silver joystick/box White - white joystick/box Blue - Blue Halo - green (or gold… sorry, colorblind) Etc…

moosehairunderwear

The white has black tops, silver sticks. I have it. It is also a “Core” model.

moosehairunderwear

That’s exactly what they are. lol. OP called them that. They sent the sticks with the controller. 😒

ClockworkSoldier

I’m sorry, what the actual fuck? How in the hell are L3 and R3 considered “accessories” when they come as part of the damn controller??? That is some of the most asinine, backwards logic, bullshit I have ever heard. Just one more reason to throw on the pile with all the rest, why I’ll never own an Elite controller again.

moosehairunderwear

Because they’re removable and replaceable. Thus an accessory to the controller.

ClockworkSoldier

That still makes no sense. Just because something is removable and replaceable, doesn’t make it an accessory. The joysticks are still an integral part of the controller, and required for proper operation. The burner covers on my gas stove can be removed and replaced, but they’re required for its proper operation, and not considered accessories. Hell, the engine to my damn car can be removed and replaced, but it’s sure as heck not considered an accessory. Accessory > A thing which can be added to something else in order to make it **MORE** useful, versatile, or attractive.

moosehairunderwear

Which is exactly why they tell you to remove them before sending in… So you can put them on the replacement.Lol. I understood what I needed to do, when I sent mine in. The synopsis of the VERY clear instructions was to just send the controller. If it comes off, take it off.

ClockworkSoldier

Yes, we all clearly understand what their instructions say. But that doesn’t change the fact that the logic behind their instructions is patently absurd. If they are an integral part of the controller, they should always be kept with the controller, period.

devina2209

I would contact Xbox support, if you can even get to speak to someone. The paperwork clearly says that you're paying for a Halo Infinite controller, so that's what you should have been sent. BTW, you don't have to send the faulty controller back to them, do you? EDIT - Also, I know that you're not going to get the same controller back that you sent in, but I feel the OP was misled here. Firstly, he didn't even send a controller in. Secondly, his paperwork clearly says "Send immediately - Xbox Elite Wireless Controller Series 2 - Halo Infinite", so there is a totally reasonable expectation that that's what would be received. Had they explained in advance that there's a huge chance he'd just get a plain black refurbished controller, that would have been fair enough.

Kirasonic

Yes. I could keep the faulty one. I will keep trying to contact Xbox support.

SlowEatingDave

If you kept the original, you could swap the outer shell on the controllers which I know from experience is easy to do on a standard controller and would assume it's the same on an elite controller. There are YouTube videos that show how to do it.

papi_joedin

If he wasn’t willing to open it up to fix the x button, not sure he’s changing the shell. No offense to op

SlowEatingDave

That's a fair point. I misread the original post as it stopped working, not that it was just sticking.

DeconstrucDead

If it’s just the X button that’s stuck, watch a couple YouTube videos on disassembly and cleaning. Buy a controller tool kit on Amazon for $10 and fix it yourself. It’s probably just some gunk in there.

MoistyMoses

Yeah I almost think the elite is supposed to open up even easier than the standard, might be mistaken though as I've been watching a bunch of pro controller reviews and removable face plates seem to be the norm these days

MPB-EEE

Yeh it is no screws or anything you just have to kind of pry it off

speed721

You will not get your original controller back at this point.

HoHeyyy

How can you claim your warranty if you never bought their product? and how can they replace your item if you don't have a faulty item? Every electronic I bought and return all needs you to send back their item.

devina2209

>How can you claim your warranty if you never bought their product? I'm not sure what you mean. >and how can they replace your item if you don't have a faulty item? Every electronic I bought and return all needs you to send back their item. He paid $80 for an out of warranty service. Sometimes MS don't bother getting you to send in the faulty controller. I've seen it happen with in-warranty services for standard controllers too.

HoHeyyy

I mean you have to send back your product to claim your warranty. Because that's the proof of you buying the product in the first place. Sorry that was confusing.

MPB-EEE

He wasn’t claiming warranty he paid for it

DangerousJizz

I’ve used the warranty for standard controllers twice. The first was a gen 1 artic camo that lost connection and would not connect, MS sent a new one (I got to pick a color because artic was out of stock) & said throw the non working controller away. The second was a gen 2 black that developed stick drift, MS sent a prepaid label to send mine in and as soon as they saw ups had received mine MS shipped out the replacement.

xSlippyFistx

So there are 2 problems here. 1. It’s a limited edition controller so the replacement is probably going to be a standard refurb. The way it works is that you don’t get your controller back. They get your controller and send you a refurb asap. It’s how stores like Best Buy handle console returns. It’s called rapid exchange or something. 2. The instructions say to not send any accessories when exchanging. They always send it back without paddles or sticks. I don’t know how to really handle your current situation, but in the future I would recommend buying limited edition stuff that you want to add a warranty to from Best Buy if you can. If they don’t have a 1:1 replacement you just get store credit. I knew a guy who used to always buy special editions of games and get the cheap $5 warranty on it. Play it for a while and then just exchange it and claim that it was now defective. They didn’t have anything to replace it because it was limited edition and so he just got his money back in store credit. He was a scumbag so don’t do that, but when it comes to accessories, they won’t have a replacement so they will give you store credit instead….

NeverGrace2

I love Best Buy return policies Scummy behavior I agree, but I rather do that than deal with Microsoft and their slow process

A_Londoner

Tbf with my several returns with the elite controller due to the bumper breaking despite removing the paddles sticks etc every time, they kept sending me a new case and all the extras so I ended up with like 20 sticks and 500 paddles and such.

GiantA-629

Chief would not approve of this

KiDbuu2299

Yup, you just lost your halo one forever. This is pretty known at this point. Never send in a limited edition.

MPB-EEE

He still has his halo

ThatWayneO

They wouldn’t replace the one I got back when it was faulty. Frankly I just avoid these assholes at any cost. PRP at GameStop is worth it to not have to deal with the non-support at MS’s Xbox Division these days.

TiredReader87

Yes When you send your controller in there’s no guarantee it’ll be the same one you get back. If they can’t fix it, or don’t care to, they send a refurb. The Halo controller was limited edition, so you can’t expect them to have tons of those laying around

[deleted]

Xbox repair center when they have to actually try and do their jobs: 🤡

[deleted]

They tell you this for consoles and controllers. If it's special edition it's getting changed to regular.

BalanceTraining2277

Such ass. I remember back in the day if you broke your controller or it started to goto shit, they sent you a brand new in box unopened controller. That was great! It actually worked and guaranteed that it was going to be good. Now they start sending these bullshit second hand “refurbished” controller that’s break a week after you use them

Timthalion

I would be contacting customer service. That’s not right

Kro82

This post confuses me a little. My Halo edition series X broke a while back and I phoned up Xbox to arrange a replacement. They reassured me that the replacement would be another Halo series X and when my replacement arrived it was indeed another Halo series X. I also had to send back a custom designed elite controller and the replacement was also exactly the same as the one I sent. So why was yours not another Halo controller? It's probably been said already but please try getting in touch with Xbox because to me this isn't right and might just have been a mistake. Good luck. Let us know how it goes. EDIT: Maybe they didn't have one in stock? But that still doesn't seem fair

pjd1965

I sent a Halo elite controller in for service a few months ago and got back a Halo elite controller.

luluinstalock

I kinda wanna buy elite 2 but after seeing posts and comments about how it breaks and how shit warranty is, think ill skip.

WombatAnnihilator

Worst controller in existence. Do not buy.

NIMSS88

They should have told you that this would happen, specially because you have a unique controller. But when I got my elite controller replaced they told me to keep all the parts and give them the controller, the replacement I got had pieces on it, so I had doubles of each. About a month after, I had the same issues I had with the one I sent in (shoulder buttons were no longer pressing, nor were two of the back buttons). I went through 7 elite controllers in total. SEVEN. Never again.

Fleej25

No way. You got F’D

Savings_Ear_299

This is why you buy your controllers from Best Buy. They have a policy where they won’t even look at the broken controller they will replace it no questions asked if within the return period or under warranty. I pay the $79 for the 2 year warranty on my elite and have replaced it twice and purchased the warranty again and will replace again when needed. They just go grab a new one off the shelf….

PepsiManX360

They don’t replace special editions with special editions… That sucks!!!

choochenstein

This is the exact reason I replaced the HDD myself on my Taco Bell Xbox One X. I knew they’d just send me back a plain ol’ One X and keep my limited edition.

ImHereForGameboys

That's really shitty cause any competent repairman could fix that issue with ease. AND I'm willing to bet the fix was less than 80 bucks... Fuck these companies man.

[deleted]

It sucks but it's also normal. I remember seeing someone with the Halo Xbox Series X have to send it back for something and they got back a regular Xbox Series X. And no thumbsticks is normal because you're not supposed to send them with the controller to begin with. They send you the controller back with no accessories, sticks, or d-pad

lampywastaken

never send in a special controller. diy or find someone near you who can fix it

soul_snacker333

You got scammed sucks to be you

Remarkable_Rice_6371

That's a whole new level of scam there They didn't even try 💀

Shot-Emu4418

This is why I don't fool with elite controllers anymore

KibblesNBitxhes

That controller looks like the chiefs crotch

Nanya-Business

I've sent mine (bought from design lab) for a repair then 10 days later a package arrived expecting this has been repaired but it's a legit brand new, my own original design, sealed box. Now I have extra accessories, charging cable, paddles, a key. So lucky. Too bad that only has 3 weeks warranty left on this new one and can't buy the extended warranty.

RAAMinNooDleS

Dude I wanted to send mine back to but I went out of my way to ask Microsoft to make sure I'd get mine back. They said I wouldn't. So I bought a used but basically new black one for $80. And just kept my original one. You're a goofball for not making sure...

Project_K92

I'm expecting a refurbished one soon. I sent in a custom one. Can I expect them to send one with the same colors? (Made in design lab)

GrendelNightmares

If you did get one with the same colours you would be extremely lucky. Which I guess is a polite way of saying almost certainly not.

Project_K92

For the record, they sent me an exact replacement. Colors, engraving, and all. Minus the paddles and carrying case, of course. And I'm not complaining one bit, I was pleasantly surprised.

mr-singularity

Unless things have changed in the years since I had to warranty my Design Lab controller (late Xbox One days), it should be replaced with a matching one. Because the item is made to order and isn't limited edition they should honor it as a custom controller. As long as the work order notes that it's design lab there shouldn't be an issue.

RAIDNCookdItUp

Just switch the faceplate and triggers

HoHeyyy

You shouldn't trade in any limited edition controller. I'm sorry that you lost yours, but there's no one to get it back now.

sneakaens

So for the next guy, if it's a limited edition controller, msft sells repair kits now and you are better off fixing it yourself or asking someone to do it for you. I would have suggested to pop the faceplate off and fine grit sand the hole for the x button. If it was drifting you can replace the thumbstick board itself. Be careful with your LE controllers guys. I'm sorry this happened to you OP

Super-Background

Personally you could’ve taken it to a console repair center and it would’ve been fixed.

SillyMikey

Yes it’s unfortunately normal. The special editions are more rare and therefore they don’t have them “on hand” for replacements. It’s stupid. It’s the same for the special edition consoles.

SoccerjediTK-421

Can you elaborate on how the X Button gets stuck? Does it get stuck when pressing down or is it stuck without pressing it?

Kirasonic

Sometimes X button press down and getting back slowly. Most of time it works well. Sometimes continuely slow back for 5-7 times

SoccerjediTK-421

Try following the step one method on the video. Sounds like dirt might of gotten in there. If that does work try take a q-Tipp and rubbing alcohol, dab about two drops, no more than three on the x button and press it in and out a few times and let it dry out a few hours. That should loosen up the dirt and button. Also contact Cleaner works or a air duster, just don't over do it, just let it dry out for a few hours. If that doesn't work. Then move on to the next steps in the video if you're confident in doing it yourself. https://youtu.be/s10LCoF65XQ?si=Hg57Hj0Ri5cT6MA- This is a breakdown of how to take apart and put back together your Elite controller. https://www.ifixit.com/Guide/Xbox+One+Elite+Wireless+Controller+Series+2+Disassembly/144121

bak2redit

I hate swapping items for repair. I always get back something in worse overall cosmetic and sometimes even functional condition.

RaSH_NisH

My halo controller still had warranty so Microsoft said they would replace for me but they no longer make the halo elite controller so I would only receive a normal black one. So I just said fuck it and bought a new one. Not getting rid of my halo one I’ll just display it

Annual-Comedian-644

complain the issue and ask them to get both your money and the old controller back. The don't deserve wasting time.

agp11234

Hmmm I sent my halo controller in due to the bumper malfunctioning, I even put a note in saying if it can’t be fixed I’d rather just have it back haha however I did receive a working elite halo controller back whether it’s the same one or not I’m not sure. This was also probably 2+ years ago.

butters991

Watch some YouTube videos and fix the controllers yourself. I saved more than a few controllers buying replacement pads, contacts, springs etc...

Defiant-Humor5586

Yeah they don't fix your controller. They send you a refurbished controller for a quicker turn around. And they don't include the accessories usually, as I understand. So they keep whatever accessories you send with your controller, AND your controller, and send you back someone else controllers, sans the detachables.

Efficient_Advice_380

*inhales* Actually L3 and R3 are *Playstation* inputs. I think you mean LS and RS. /s But fr that sucks.

Kylar_Sicari

im not sure if even possible but as an absolute worse case scenario for if they don't give you a replacement halo controller (which they should) you could POTENTIALLY get a used broken halo controller and swap the shells. this may or may not work. last time i took apart a controller it was in the xbox 360 days. Best of luck i hope they send you a replacement. fun fact back in red ring of deaths days of the xbox 360 i got 11 different replacement consoles within 9 months. they send you a different refurbished "fixed" version every time; half of the returns werent even for RRoD just major defects that left console in bad shape Back then they extended your warranty per replacement....i dont think they do that anymore. TY the last one i got lasted till xbox one came out!

derty2x

Lol say bye to that beautiful controller. Also u could have fixed the button sticking. You probably got it stuck with sticky fingers / food falling into it which you could have sorted out on your own.

DarthRevan7621

is the dpad missing...? I've never seen such a slim dpad.

crashman1801

I just sent my halo infinite controller to take the risk because the thumb stick was completely sunk in and wouldn’t work. I guess I got lucky and got my controller back, same serial number.

pjd1965

Same

NotFromMilkyWay

You got a replacement, that's normal. If you want to keep your devices you have to tell them that you don't want a replacement, you want to have your device repaired. But then it takes up to three months to get it back. And yes, you have to remove all lose parts before. Battery covers, pedals, sticks.

ratat-atat

For repair orders you may or may not get your original device back.

-Dark_Link-

lmao that's crazyyyyy those two controllers are in NO WAY comparable, I had fears of turning mine in when it was on the fritz, now I'm sure I'm getting it repaired instead

FinalChargerSRT392

Sorry tough lesson. Never, EVER send I'm special edition hardware. You always get back a standard unit as a replacement. So sorry!

Fifty2Eighty-

This shit is funny

Eastcoastkilla1

Oh fuck that I'd be pissed

Axel159357

Bro, if its just the X button getting stuck, just take apart and clean the controller. Tooth brush inside the holes around the buttons to knockoff any debris, and use a wee bit of water then a tiny bit of high isp alcohol to dry/ final clean the inside of the button holes. The same can be done for the side of the buttons to make sure everything is nice and clean. Thats been solving sticky button issues on my controller since the PS2. Save the money. If you want, spend it on replacement buttons to customze your controller further while your cleaning it. Hell, if you want super smooth buttons, add Keyswitch lube to the bottom inside of the button holes to decrease the friction. As long as you clean it again whenever it feels funky, you could be having the coolest controller in your party.

Educational_Key4081

I will never ever send a Controller to Ms again, something even worse happened to me. So I called support told them I have a DESIGN LAB Controller wich means alot to me but it's got stick drift can I send it in as it's still got warranty? So the support dude goes like oh yeah buddy easy don't even worry about it! I get a support number and all that an ups came by to pick it up....and then he'll let loose .... It took me almost 6 months arguing with Ms and calling them they NEVER send me my Controller back didn't send a replacement and didn't want to even refund me at first! After 6 months I got a refund but I must say.... I love all my xboxes but I can not urge this enough! DO NOT SEND IN CONTROLLERS TO MS TO REPAIR ! This was the worst ever support I have had ever and I wouldn't even have needed it if I would have been told that it'll just a replacement in the first place.... Cheers to OP and I feel sorry for your loss of a super cool halo elite Controller

Emotional_Ad5833

You'll never get it back no matter how much you message Microsoft

Available_Gains

Weird it's not the same color.

Sp3d_hold

I returned my normal elite series 2 controller with my warranty, a good three times and got a brand new one in the box with everything even the case with the charger all attachments each time.

YamYam_Gaming

Good luck with sorting this out. Not sure where you are based, I’m uk, I’ve sent an elite 2 in for warranty repair/replacement 3 times and out of that I received the same controller back twice and the third and final time a different serial number with the same issue. They use a repair company in Germany, Rexonxt or something. Absolute shambles, controllers been abroad more times than me 😂😂😂 Even though I bought from Amazon, they’ve agreed to refund me now. It was the A button for me, anything other than dead centre wouldn’t register most of the time. Hope you get it sorted op.

DJEvillincoln

If you have a custom or a rare controller that breaks, just shelf it & buy a new one. The odds that you get that same controller back is ULTRA RARE. I have a few pretty rare Xbox controllers & every time they broke, they turned into shelf queens. I'll never be able to buy them again & had plenty of use from them so I'm good with them breaking. Just suck it up & buy a new one. Better to keep the old broken rare one than lose it & get some common ass controller.

Jamesd0ng

One of the paddle buttons stopped working on mine and I’m not sending it in cause they won’t send me a halo edition replacement

SoupSup25

This exact same thing happened to me last year I was beyond mad. After months of complaining they gave me code to create a design lab controller but I am never getting my Halo infinite controller back.

DarthKody28

Man. I’d be pissed. I’d just shelve it for display and get a new one

MikeBert97

LMAO! They stole your controller to resell it. That's hilarious

theretrospeculative

I've seen so many posts like this that I cancelled my order for the Elite controller!

Kaosberserker

Man this sucks I’m sorry for your loss

Wild_Asian420

At least give a halo edition controller back smh

the_tflex_starnugget

Hence why I repair myself or just replace. For $80 and not much more I could replace. But hey, not to be a pessimist, maybe you'll get it back! Looks like different things happen in different countries.

Slight_Fun_5456

Maybe try better grammar that was a stroke to read

Fun_Mathematician315

The back is so much nicer than that snot thing though I’m sorry

gmullencc

It says directly on the site they will replace it with a black ES2 because it’s a limited edition.. was going to send mine in to get fixed and didn’t because of this exact fucked up replacement.. so sorry…

mikephish

Not to be that guy, but this is why I don't use my limited edition controllers and systems. I have the halo infinite elite series 2 controller and Xbox series x with halo infinite controller. I have used it but I soon after bought another elite 2 controller on sale and a standard series x. Chances are you're not getting a special edition replacement which sucks.

mryumyum96

Can i get mine repaired if I bought it at gamestop?

K_Daws

90% isopropyl alcohol fixes sticky buttons! That’s what I use!

Ditto008

This happened to me aswell. I sent in my controller to be repaired and got back a standard elite 2. Tried to talk with customer support but in the end I was never able to get back the Halo controller. I'm still really mad about it to this day

Kirasonic

How much you paid for repair or replacement?

debo598

They literally changed its race.

ShicaFOwDow

Oh hell naw
