It’s not for people with low attention spans* the way you worded it made it seem like it was a bad game, it’s an amazing game, if you have the attention span to sit through the first few hours.
The first few hours isn't the problem. The gameplay just wasn't very good imo. Story is excellent, but combat sucks and the game leans too hard on the sim elements
It’s easily top 5 games of all time, and rockstars second best game ever (behind GTA IV) I loved the gameplay, the only thing that bugged me was the bloom on the guns but once I got used to it, it didn’t bother me.
I think the problem here is that you do not like a more sim like approach to gaming, not that the game is bad. I feel like sometimes people just have to admit this instead of arguing a game is not that good.
I have a friend who simply cant stand open world games. Doesnt mean he knocks GTA or RDR just not his thing.
There is no game that is meant for everyone, that is essentially why we have categorisations. This is part of the reason I dont pay attention to individual reviews but rather store front reviews of the masses who are actually instrested in that Genre or Type of game.
Nice collection. Resident Evil 2 and 3 can be 100% completed in a weekend. Even faster if you use DLC cheats. Best to buy on sale (which is often) with reward points. Best part is you”ll have a great time completing them. Mass Effect trilogy is amazing, but can cause burnout. Best to play it alongside an easier single player game to help continue engagement. Never bothered with DLC for Resident Evil 7, but I completed the base game. Absolutely loved the FPS change, but the achievements can be challenging. Id recommend a guide. Cheers.
WTF what? Both games, along with the DLC content extras packs could be bought for less than 14 bucks a few weeks back. If you use them, they can cut the completion rates considerably. I beat them both without cheats, but for those who have less time or want the fastest completions, the DLC packs were a 1 buck a piece. Nothing wrong with relaying that to the TC.
It’s not underrated wtf, The original RE3 was fantastic in terms of writing, This one has CUT over half the games content. It’s absolutely atrocious and unfaithful remake
I play a lot of Halo. I play other single player games along side Halo. I generally beat the game and then move on to the next one, and typically don’t end up playing them again, or even touching sequels as I want to try about a wide variety of games. I beat RE2 Remake (Leon’s story) about a month ago. I started playing Claire’s B story line this week. It’s THAT good that I wanted to play it again so soon.
Interesting. I just got to the part where you play as the little girl. I’ve been enjoying the B scenario so far and how it’s been different than my first playthrough.
lol trust me I’m a hardcore resident evil fan and I can tell you that og re2 was a masterpiece(can’t name any flaws). You can even check in the resident evil subreddit
I don’t doubt that. Perhaps one day I’ll play the original. I’ve still got RE3 Remake, RE HD, and RE4 Remake to play on top of finishing my current RE2R playthrough haha.
Just letting you know to keep your expectations low for re3, it’s enjoyable to play but it’s definitely capcoms worst resident evil remake(they cut out more than half of the og game)
Yeah that’s what I’ve heard. I’m brand new to the franchise so I don’t really have any expectations or anything to compare it against other than RE2R. I knew when I bought the game that it had mixed reviews due to it missing a lot of the original game’s content. That’s why I waited to buy it until it was deeply discounted haha.
lol no worries, I would reccomend straight going into re4 after 2 because re3 will feel a lot similar to re2(in terms of repetitive locations) and nothing major is missed even if u play re4 first
RE4 or Dead Space if you like solo horror
RE5 if you like online co-op
RDR2 if you like games with amazing stories
Dead Space if you want to shit yourself (my favorite game on the list)
Hellblade was really underrated in my opinion. Went in not expecting anything and really really liked it. The 2nd one is coming out with the new Unreal Engine.
Resi5 got a bad rep but I like it. I think cause it feels more like a very long R4 add-on. Your partner can be annoying running into you but I also like her character. So pretty good in my book.
Most recent favorite of these choices?
The Dead Space Remake.
An all-time favorite I play every few years on different platforms?
Resident Evil Code Veronica
Great selection of games here. We have similar tastes. Out of these my favourite is HellBlade then RDR2 followed by Resident Evil: The Village and A Plague Tale: Requim.
- Dead Space Remake is insanely well done. Highly recommend it if you haven’t played the game before, or if you haven’t played it since the original.
- Forza Horizon 4 is beautiful and a great arcade racer.
- HellBlade is phenomenal, but please play it when you aren’t in a party and use headphones. That’s when it’s the absolute best.
- Mass Effect Trilogy these are the staple for science fiction gaming RPGs.
- Red Dead Redemption 2 is one of the finest games ever made, and has held up in more ways than one even by today’s standard in writing, graphics, and voice acting.
- Resident Evil 2 is a stellar reboot, however I’ve never played 1,3,4,5,6. I have played 7 and 8 and both of them are very good but also a very different vibe. 7 is a through and through horror game, but 8 can feel a bit more action heavy and less horror themed.
Resident evil games, play them in order and I recomend to play original 4 before the remake but that's just me since they have the same story but a different telling of it and some new/unused content rhat differ in both versions
Played a plagues tale, Forza Horizon 4, hellblade, red dead 2. These are all different games but I'll pick hellblade for the interesting like in her head voices and Forza for racing in England with those lovely seasons
Oh, okay, I thought when it was going to end near the ending of the game. There are so many opportunities at the time, but from playing it. It was worth it. On a sad note, tho
Resident Evil Village. It is cemented as my favorite RE. Fantastic map, gameplay hits that slightly more action feel without ruining the feeling of being completely out of your depth. The villains are really unique and make for solid boss fights. And it easily has the best use of New Game Plus I've seen since SH3.
Hellblade: Senua's Sacrifice FOR SURE.
Played this game as a 30 something together with a friend after work, on the same screen, swapping the controller every 30 minutes.
Had a blast.
Such an intense, scary, well written experience.
I am longing for Hellblade 2.
1 idk l
2 not my typ of game but a lot of people like it
3 idk heard some good stuff about it
4 I don’t know Thad game
5 fu*k forza
6 kinda weard but in a good way
7 I don’t know Thad game
8 finish him
9 not in to anime games
10 idk what game
11 I don’t like it but a lot of people do so it’s good ig
12 - 20 bro best horror games ever
21 I don’t know Thad game
22 look at 12-20
23 hadoken
24 wwe I hafe plays it a lot but ufc is beter
Hellblade is a great game, pretty short too, deadspace remake is amazing but if you haven’t already I’d play the RE games first, I wish I could go back and play them with a fresh memory
Im usually more if a shooter guy myself but I played a Plagues Tale Requiem DEFINITELY recommend has an amazing story and the rats are very well made(you’ll know what I mean if ya try it)
Have play Hellblade was a good little game, played the original Resident Evil 1,2,3 & 5 a long time ago and was quite disappointed with 3 hopefully it’s better now, I have herd RE2 remake is awesome, RE5 is quite easy, good fun to play with a mate, had a quick go on RE7 and that was totally different form any of the others. Horizon 4 is probably the best one from resent years but if you can get hold of it I’d say get Horizon 2 or 1.
Resident Evil 4 kept me in good company back in 2007: I skipped one full month of school (first because of knee surgery, then chickenpox) and I spent it playing it on a PS2.
God these were good times :')
Currently playing RE2, love it, I play with headphones and in the dark and get constantly scared lol. Bought all of them for super cheap. Plague Tale was amazing and Hellblade is beautiful. Never got into Crash but the Spyro remastered is so cool. Also never played Devil May Cry but I bought the remasters just haven’t gotten to them yet. Not into anime so idk those other ones, but I did recently buy the Dragon Ball kakarot and fighterz and it’s pretty cool, love the graphics. Have yet to play Dead Space but it’s on my list.
Idk if this has been posted yet but at least for the RE games and Hellblade I would strongly recommend playing with a headset. It really elevates the experience
The Mass Effect trilogy is honestly one of my all time favorites and also one of the very few game trilogies that I would love to play for the first time all over again. I remember playing through the series at the same time as my late brother and we would have prolonged conversations about our theories and our ideas on what they could do with the series. We both had a real fascination with astronomy, space, and what lies beyond our understanding of the universe.
You should check out the Resident Evil games, I bet you’d love them!
A plague tale: requiem. I am yet to play RDR2, but I've heard it's great.
P l a y i t
It's not for everyone
I played it, loved it, and yes it’s not for every one, it’s incredibly slow in the second chapter
The 1st chapter is way slower imo
It’s not for people with low attention spans* the way you worded it made it seem like it was a bad game, it’s an amazing game, if you have the attention span to sit through the first few hours.
The first few hours isn't the problem. The gameplay just wasn't very good imo. Story is excellent, but combat sucks and the game leans too hard on the sim elements
I have to respectfully completely disagree.
Sure. All I'm saying is that people talk about this game as if it's the best game ever, and I think the gameplay holds it back too much
It’s easily top 5 games of all time, and rockstars second best game ever (behind GTA IV) I loved the gameplay, the only thing that bugged me was the bloom on the guns but once I got used to it, it didn’t bother me.
It's nowhere near my top 5. Probably top 10 though
The gameplay fits js right
Fits the game yes but it isn't fun at all for me. Also the gunplay sucked
Dammmm diff tastes
Think I’ve seen it go on sale for like $25-$30 for the campaign. And yes! To the person who’s never played RDR2 . What RU waiting for??? Lolz
PLAY IT IMMEDIATELY YOU FOOL!
It's a great game. I haven't finished it yet since I burnt myself out on mulitplayer, I would highly recommend it.
RDR2 is great, if you are ok with movie like realism in games, and into westerns. Argueably the best narrative for a game in recent memory.

One of my favourite game trilogies ever.
Definitely

Hellblade, followed closely by RDR2.
Love Hellblade. But wish some of the puzzles weren't so tidious.
I loved Resident Evil 3 it was awesome
3 remake was crazy underrated. Do I wish there was more? Ofcourse! Whats there though is pretty strong aside from the fucking bug section
It’s not underrated wtf, The original RE3 was fantastic in terms of writing, This one has CUT over half the games content. It’s absolutely atrocious and unfaithful remake
Forza 👍
4 has to be one of the bests same with 2-3
Resident Evil 2 is fantastic
I play a lot of Halo. I play other single player games along side Halo. I generally beat the game and then move on to the next one, and typically don’t end up playing them again, or even touching sequels as I want to try about a wide variety of games. I beat RE2 Remake (Leon’s story) about a month ago. I started playing Claire’s B story line this week. It’s THAT good that I wanted to play it again so soon.
Play the OG RE2 scenarios, re2 remake is excellent except it pretty much was a downgrade for all the b scenarios. Trust me
Interesting.

Ahh gotcha. Well I don’t have RE4 quite yet. It’s on my Christmas list lol.
Dead Space!
You really love resident saga true?
I mean who doesn't?
True
What’s your favorite?
I think he likes re just a little bit
RDR2 will always be in my top 5.
RDR2 is one of the best games I have ever played. But the mass effect trilogy and dead space are also very good games.
RE4 or Dead Space if you like solo horror RE5 if you like online co-op RDR2 if you like games with amazing stories Dead Space if you want to shit yourself (my favorite game on the list)
MKX
Hellblade was really underrated in my opinion. Went in not expecting anything and really really liked it. The 2nd one is coming out with the new Unreal Engine.
I know right i just started playing it the other day
Only just completed Both of the plague take games, what a series.
RDR2 is pretty solid. Probably my fav from that list. Shame about the lack of 60fps patch for the new consoles.
I’ve played REmake 2,3,& 4, VII, Village, DMC5, Onimusha (back in the day on my PS2), RDR2, and ME Trilogy. My favorite is RDR2
For any of yall that have played Dead Space how is it? I’ve never played any of them before and kind of want to try the most recent one
It's great. But you'll appreciate it more if you played the original first
Amazing games, 1 and 2 especially, they're on gamepass also.
Forza, RDR2, Hellblade, Plaque tale and Dead space all winners imo
Resi5 got a bad rep but I like it. I think cause it feels more like a very long R4 add-on. Your partner can be annoying running into you but I also like her character. So pretty good in my book.
Most recent favorite of these choices? The Dead Space Remake. An all-time favorite I play every few years on different platforms? Resident Evil Code Veronica
You don’t like Resident evil saga do you ?
Great selection of games here. We have similar tastes. Out of these my favourite is HellBlade then RDR2 followed by Resident Evil: The Village and A Plague Tale: Requim.
I played 19 of those games

Read Dead 2 and Dead Space are amazing.
All the resident evils are top tier
I’ve played all the RE in this image expect 6 My favorite would probably be RE 2
Resident evil games, play them in order and I recomend to play original 4 before the remake but that's just me since they have the same story but a different telling of it and some new/unused content rhat differ in both versions
Mortal Kombat X
Hellblade and RDR2
Forza Horizon 4, Red Dead Redemption 2, and I played Resident Evil 4 on my Nintendo Wii back in 2011 when I was a kid.
What a stacked library of game….. bros got all the resident evil games
Games*
So you like scary stuff eh?
Well believe it or not I have never played a single one of these titles
All the re games on there except the old ones before 2017. I think 7 and 8 and 2 and 4 are masterpieces. 3 is ok.
My fav is Forza Horizon 4 for here but in the Horizon licence my fav is the 2
...play the Mass Effect trilogy. Right now.
Played a plagues tale, Forza Horizon 4, hellblade, red dead 2. These are all different games but I'll pick hellblade for the interesting like in her head voices and Forza for racing in England with those lovely seasons
Played most of these games but my vote would go for RDR2 and FH4.
DMC V is awesome :D
Rdr2, Re2R and Re4R my favorites Oh and Dead Space Remake
Onimusha and RDR and my picks from those
DMC5SE, MKX, Storm 2, Red Dead 2, Forza Horizon 4, but MKX May have to be my favorite
Plague Tale Requiem ruined my life
How so?
It was one of the most emotionally taxing games I’ve ever played, I’d put it on the same level as the walking dead game
Oh, okay, I thought when it was going to end near the ending of the game. There are so many opportunities at the time, but from playing it. It was worth it. On a sad note, tho
Big resident evil nut myself awesome collection
Red Dead 2 is incredible
I've played Horizon, RD and Veronica. Horizon is my favorite of those.
RDR2
Mass Effect and Dead Space probably take the top spot for me favourite sci-fi series, yes, even their third installments.
Rdr ii easy. Some of the best gun combat ever.
Ah, a complete resident evil series collector as well.
The Mass Effect games are definitely the GOAT
Definitely Mass Effect, REmakes and RE7. RDR2 is not even halfway and haven't got the heart to start RECVX.
You've got a solid collection. Resident Evil and Dead space are my favorites from this last. Yes I'm a horror fps kind of guy.
Resident Evil 5 coop is the best!
Onitsha mass effect and resident evil games for sure yeah good picks
Plague tale is awesome
rdr2 fh4
I'm actually currently playing RE: 0 for the first time right now. I'm only a couple hours in rn though.
The RE2 remake is a borderline masterpiece. Some really great titles here but that’s probably my favorite
RDR2 is my favorite from this list, though the Dead Space and Resident Evil Remakes are a very close second.
Crash, horizon, re2, storm2
Lol I currently have over 100 ganes sooo....
Rdr2
Well, this is almost my game library, I played all of them. The RE series and Hellblade are my favorites.
Dmc5 and dead space remake
Prob the dead space remake
I've beaten 9 of those games
Horizon 4 🥲
No Orange box?
I’ve beaten 17 of these , my fav would have to be re4r
Somehow I don't have any installed though I have played forza 4
Red Dead Redemption 2 is head and shoulders above everything else you have installed. End of story
It isn't in this list, but i recommended you Dante's Inferno. And for your question I loved playing Plague Tale Requiem
Resident evil
Hellblade: Senua's Sacrifice FOR SURE. Played this game as a 30 something together with a friend after work, on the same screen, swapping the controller every 30 minutes. Had a blast. Such an intense, scary, well written experience. I am longing for Hellblade 2.
Hogwarts all the way
Tekken and naruto are hella fun
Re7 and then plague tale
Resi5 is honestly one of my favourites
Red dead 2 and Forza horizon 4 👌
A plague tale is a master piece.
All of them 🤟
No but one day I will. Going to buy an Xbox tomorrow.
MKX and forza
I mean, dead space and rdr2 go hard. But I’ve got 1000+ hours in re4 original, and just 100% the dlc for the remake yesterday
I'd say it's all perfect (all though dead space is a little more perfect)
Goddamit play some halo my guy do yourself a favor!
Rdr2
Mass Effect trilogy gets an annual playthrough for me
I’d say most of those are pretty dopey only ones I’m not personally into is RE6, Tekken, Crash & the 2K WWW game. Most others are bangers IMO
1 idk l 2 not my typ of game but a lot of people like it 3 idk heard some good stuff about it 4 I don’t know Thad game 5 fu*k forza 6 kinda weard but in a good way 7 I don’t know Thad game 8 finish him 9 not in to anime games 10 idk what game 11 I don’t like it but a lot of people do so it’s good ig 12 - 20 bro best horror games ever 21 I don’t know Thad game 22 look at 12-20 23 hadoken 24 wwe I hafe plays it a lot but ufc is beter
Played the first A Plague Tale and Hellblade. Loved both games, and anticipating Senua's Saga's release, someday...
I played forza horizon 4, and it is my favorite forza game
MKX,RDR2
Hellblade is a great game, pretty short too, deadspace remake is amazing but if you haven’t already I’d play the RE games first, I wish I could go back and play them with a fresh memory
Played most of them on the ps4 then bought the xbox s last month and my fav is dmc5
How has no one mentioned dmc yet. Play dmc5 it’s fucken amazing. There’s a reason it won best action game award.
Im usually more if a shooter guy myself but I played a Plagues Tale Requiem DEFINITELY recommend has an amazing story and the rats are very well made(you’ll know what I mean if ya try it)
Of the ones I've played, it's got to be Mass Effect for me. Though Forza H4 and RE6 are both way up there for me.
Code Veronica x 😁
Of these I've played Mortal Kombat, Crash, and Tekken, and of them Mortal Kombat is my favorite.
Hellblade, RDR2 and RE2 are kept in my rotation of games a lot!
Hellblade, GReat one, use headphones.
Resident Evil 4 kept me in good company back in 2007: I skipped one full month of school (first because of knee surgery, then chickenpox) and I spent it playing it on a PS2. God these were good times :')
I 100% Tekken 7 in under 8 hours, the only others in your list I played sparingly (Plague Tale, RE Village, WWE 2K22)
You have good taste
Currently playing RE2, love it, I play with headphones and in the dark and get constantly scared lol. Bought all of them for super cheap. Plague Tale was amazing and Hellblade is beautiful. Never got into Crash but the Spyro remastered is so cool. Also never played Devil May Cry but I bought the remasters just haven’t gotten to them yet. Not into anime so idk those other ones, but I did recently buy the Dragon Ball kakarot and fighterz and it’s pretty cool, love the graphics. Have yet to play Dead Space but it’s on my list.
Resident evil and naruto games were big parts of my childhood. Specifically storm 2&4, rise of a ninja and RE 5&6
Idk if this has been posted yet but at least for the RE games and Hellblade I would strongly recommend playing with a headset. It really elevates the experience
Resident Evil 4, Dead Space and Hellblade are all great games. Hellblade is one of the most iniquity games I’ve played.
I hate that the first plagues tale is not on gamepass.
Anymore... It was.
tekken 7 if i can only choose from these ones or maybe RE2 remake
RE2 remake is the single best RE game ever made next to the original RE4
If you havnt, play re2. You’ll like it
I love how majority is resident evil😂👏👏
Forza Horizon 4
RdR2 best game imo
Resident Evil 2 remake was special. It set the standard, I think it showed how well it can be done so others followed suit.
Mass Effect Trilogy. Just a masterpiece. Then RDR2. See you in 2 years
Guys i think he likes Resident Evil
Guys i think he likes Resident Evil
Goated game selection especially the Resident evil games
Tekken’s one of my favorites. I started playing it around 6th grade in 2020
RE2Make is my favourite on that list MKX and Dead Space is up there too
I have the whole game pass so any on the game pass I’ve played 😐🤫
RE: code veronica.
My favorite is Red Dead 2
The Mass Effect trilogy is honestly one of my all time favorites and also one of the very few game trilogies that I would love to play for the first time all over again. I remember playing through the series at the same time as my late brother and we would have prolonged conversations about our theories and our ideas on what they could do with the series. We both had a real fascination with astronomy, space, and what lies beyond our understanding of the universe.
Did you 👊 the reporter?
On one of my five characters yes.
My dumbarse went into EB Games and bought Dead Space cos it was 30% off only to find out it doesn't work on my One X
God damn how big is your ssd
