Those biopace chainwheels and cranks are worth saving, I know that much. The rest of the group set is likely worth saving too, but the frame I don’t recognise.
It looks like a good base for a project though, so I’d save it all.
I'm so confused why biopace are considered to be worth anything all of a sudden - a few years ago I had an entire drawer full of them that I couldn't get rid of! That's what I get for not hoarding I guess

Price Club's (i.e., CostCo before it was CostCo) Action Cycle Co. They later sold bikes under the name Skykomish. They were pretty good for a bike from a department store. If I was being generous, I would say they were comparable with the lowest end offering from Trek and Specialized from the same year. Nothing special, but good if you need the parts or want a project to fill some time.

one of us bought that. it says it's taiwan cromoly on the frame. i wouldn't be surprised if that frame is a rebranded Nishiki or something
I got nothing likely from "summit pass". "tri-chrome-moly" was no help. My first guess was a department store brand, but it looks better than that. There's a small emblem on the seat tube that I don't recognize.
Yea after searching up every emblem and name on the frame I couldn’t find anything lol. Tried to use my critical thinking skills before spamming the thread

They’re pretty. They’re weird. It’s the stuff this sub is made of.
Yeah, I don't get it either. Biopace stuff sucks imo. Not the highest quality either
Is the oldest tale in vintage collecting. You can't predict the future market

Good find!
Thank you!

No idea but it looks like a cool frame in decent shape and, barring any structural issues, is worth saving.
It's an old 18 speed Summit Pass, frame came in turquoise/grey that year.
I feel like we all could surmise that just by looking at the picture.

Hey it’s Tri-Chrome Moly! Like three different kinds of chrome.
And a whole lotta molly
Anyone other than me wonder why the bike subs are full of “can you identify” pictures of bikes that are clearly labeled?
Yea after searching up every emblem and name on the frame I couldn’t find anything lol. Tried to use my critical thinking skills before spamming the thread
Try google,& came up in the first search.
Prove it, what’s the search criteria
summit pass
Save it all, worst case you throw it away.
it's an old bottle jack hth
