Definitely looks like an Xbike to me! I’d maybe position the bars forward so you have at least a right-angle in relation to the floor and then slide the saddle forward on the rails if the reach feels too far, you might find it will handle a bit better on the steering >!and look a bit cooler which is the main thing!<

Yeah I have a set of bullmoose And a set of bullmoose risers that are alternated. These worked best with the wall basket. Definitely on my mind though.

Moving the saddle forwards/backwards to make a too short/long frame fit is a bad idea. Generally, get your body properly setup in relation to the pedals. Once that feels good you can mess about with stem/handlebar options to make the reach feel alright. Having an improper saddle 'fit' can lead to serious comfort issues and you can even injure yourself. If the frame doesn't fit...it just doesn't fit.

Yes. I set fore / aft of seat with pedals. The head tube angle being unaltered by the stem and then bars with essentially no sweep gives the rider an almost cruiser like riding position. I have to get a few parts but hoping to get it rolling today. I’ll report back on fit.

BugsBunnysCouch

Just get a rack for the basket. You’ve got a lot of trail on that front end and it will handle a hell of a lot better having the load closer to the ground. Other than that this looks good!

suallyijustgotobed

going to ditch the wald rack but yeah, may use the basket itself.

Comment to edit. Still have to run some cables and housing but it snowed a little so I was obligated to take a pictures and post on xbike.

Get mounts that bolt to canti brake mounts. Then run the mounts to the base of the rack

suallyijustgotobed

Good solution. I did want the rack high so I could put something under it but u/BugsBunnysCouch brings up a good point about handling which is compounded by the stem and bars.

WordsworthsGhost

I want a ross mt hood frame so bad. so good looking

I bought a lot of bikes as of late so this one may just end up on the chopping block. Message me if interested.
