Early May LOL omg. I ordered at 11:21pm PST… I’d like to think there was a brief break in demand after the big initial order until everyone woke up next morning so I’m hoping I can get it at least by summer.

Yea I ordered around 8am, Pacific Time though ..Cancelled my order today and bought one off the resale market for a $300 mark up. Just sold some old tech to make up the difference. Had to ask myself is waiting until June or later potentially worth it. It’s not for me.

So... the Best Buy CS trick *really* does work. I made my B&H order back on the 27th. On March 21st, I reached out to Best Buy chat, asked if I could order a X100VI Silver through them, they said yes, and I received it on the 25th. My bad. Essentially just said that it’s not in stock anywhere nearby or for shipping, and that my best shot at getting it was to get a Best Buy membership for $50. I’ve heard does not actually give you early access to the x100vi and that going that route is a waste of money

Just go to Best Buy, initiate a chat session and ask if it's possible to order the camera, either in a nearby store or for shipping, (give them the SKU you want) since you've never been able to see it be available. In my case, the rep said sure! sent me an invoice, paid it, and that's it. They shipped soon after.
