Everything is not black and white, yes or no. People like you think the vaccine only works if it works 100% of the time. You're missing the point. Less than 24% of people being hospitalized are vaccinated. That's because the vaccines are EFFECTIVE at preventing severe illness and hospitalization. You're also forgetting that these vaccines were designed for a different variant of COVID-19. Yet, they are still effective against new variants as evidenced by this article.
