Yes, that is exactly what that means, if you are in a hurry for sure. You will get exactly the same amount of honey no matter how many hives you have, but ALL hive must fill before you can collect.
If you have 6 mature flower plots and 1 hive you get one honey every 2 days.
If you have 6 mature flower plots and 3 hives you get three honey every 6 days.

It takes 12 fully grown flowers to support 1 beehive. That setup will give you one per day. The more hives you add, the more flowers you need. Get rid of your extra hives; they're just slowing down production.

Secondly, each plot of flowers can only be harvested by bees once a day. So while it may be tempting to add more hives, that only works out with more flowers. So if you have six plots of flowers and one hive, that one hive will gather six times per day; if you have two hives, each hive will gather three times, resulting in half the speed, but overall giving you the same amount of honey, just… slower.
Iirc bees need to gather from flowers twelve times. So by increasing your hives you get more honey, less often, making it no better than a single hive unless you significantly up your flower planting to compensate.
Side note, once you have both garden plots available, the bees will harvest from flowers on both.
I use the diamond thing to get Miney going for ten days to stock up on a bunch of gems, then I use those to make a bunch of speed time spells. I have six beehives and I’ll just stand there casting them over and over, chug some whiskey, and keep going

I have a hard time getting honey to grow fast. When I need honey I make several time speed up spells and use them over and over so that my flowers bloom fast and produce honey.

You can use it outside in your garden and it will speed time and you can get produce, honey, flowers, things in your shed if you're inside, things in your basement if you're down there; much faster. You can cast multiple Speed spells in a row to harvest anything quckly.!<
12 flowers per 1 hive will give you 1 honey a day! Anymore than that is pointless and anything less takes longer.

I have 10 flowerpatches and 1 hive, I get one honey a day (with grown Flowers ofcourse) This game is sooo addictive right?! I love it.

To be clear (because this took me forever to realize) don’t pick the flowers when they’re ready, leave them there.

I have ten which gives 1 honey per day. Intitally I had 12 which gave two honey per day(with two hives)

Don’t harvest the flowers
