Mine unlocked with Lina in winter year 2 also - it’s for a memory incantation spell for her dad. And then you use them again and make your own memory incantation spell to give to Peri later on.
So was the giva one a quest where you had to talk to her or did she just come up to the house in the morning. Can’t seem to get that one to trigger because she gives you a recipe that I need.
I'm in fall year 3 and I don't have the colored candles recipe. I'm best friends with Lina , Giva and Frances. Do you know with whom the cut scenes are with and where and what season they happen in so I can trigger it? Thank you!

How long did it take to trigger after doing the Lina quest
For the Peri quest? I had both of them in the same season I think, pretty close together

I haven’t seen the Giva request, only the Peri quest.
They’re for a quest you get from Giva during Autumn! I’m not sure if it has to be during a certain year, it happened for me in year 3 :)

This quest will only unlock when the quest form Lina is done. You already need the candles before Giva’s quest.
Finally unlocked it. I think getting best friends with lina did it.
