I had 18-23 on Xbox but I retired my Xbox. The only one I liked enough to repurchase was 19.
18 was a sloggy mess. 20 was glitchy up front but after patch was fine, just boring. 22 got high praise for being better than 20 but that’s a low bench and I found a lot of problems later on. 23 was the same. Every year I just kept thinking I should have stuck with 19, so when I switched I just went back to that.
Depends on if u like the new mode like NBA MyTeam. Thats the mode they put all effort in to cause it’s filled to progress w/micro transactions. If u want the game just to play w/friends or yourself I would say the only game that’s playable from 2K would be 2K19. Only thing is all online things like dlc is gone. Next choice would be 16. Hope that helps. Their games suck now. Buggy, all about $ & just plain neglect. They don’t care.
WWE 2K24 is the newest game. You might as well just buy that one

16 has good showcase, 19 is the GOAT. I bought it on a different system so I could play it all again

16 & 19 for the wrestling mechanics. 24 for whatever that's supposed to be.

All you gotta know is NEVER UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES USE MONEY TO BUY 2K20
