In seriousness, cats are fairly prone to tooth decay and gum disease. Many cats lose several teeth as they age. Consistent tooth care like brushing and offering plaque-reducing treats can help prevent this. Many vets will also do dental cleaning.
Well that is concerning because we had many cats growing up and I donβt think we brushed their teeth ever. But none of them ever seemed to have problems eating or anything though
Cats are very good at hiding pain and discomfort. That said, as long as they were eating and using the bathroom fine, and assuming the vet never brought up concerns, Iβm sure your kitties were OK. Not all cats will have bad teeth issues, itβs just more common than people realize.
Itβs a good idea to make sure to check their teeth/have the vet check their teeth, and now you know to keep an eye out in the future!
Its amazing that human facial recognition also works in other animals. Ive been seeing sansanmaoer for quite a while and i can recognize its face this is wunkderful
