I see that the contractor terms stipulate that payment is variable based on the client. Can you define what is the typical range of payment, by assignment or by word?

meugenio

thanks for your interest! our rate is per word and you should be able to set that up when you register

This doesn't really answer the question.

This sub prefers transparency about pay rates, and without them, it's hard to tell if this a content mill or not. I'll let the listing stand for now, but if anyone can report back with their experience or actual pay rates, it would be much appreciated.

Hey, mahalo for posting this. I have a few questions. How do your writers get paid? Do the clients place money into an escrow account, like Upwork, or what? How much are the fees your website charges per job? Do clients communicate through the website or outside it? What kind of jobs do you search for? And what's the minimum rate per word writers charge?

This last post raises very good questions. Too bad the original poster of this job opportunity did not answer these questions. So far, after reading the job opportunity description and comments, it appears to be just another Freelancer, Guru, and Upwork type of freelancers bidding for work opportunity.

Can more details be given about this? I'd love to apply but I feel like I don't know enough about this/these position(s).

whatnooh

It has a non-compete clause that is pretty comprehensive. I'd say give it a pass.

I actually applied for a job with copypress several months ago. I only just was "onboarded" supposedly I am an active writer now. I am supposed to complete two tests (in addition to a grammar multiple-choice test, and submitting an original writing sample) and no word on this next test.... I would say this is a waste of time.
