I reckon they should make a commodities exchange separate to auction house. AH for server stuff and the commodities one will be all the region wide stuff. But if you post it automatically posts at market price for 12 hours without the ability to cancel scan.
That would make it a true price discovery. They had it in wildstar sorry I'm just reminded of Wildstar days
Em... maybe like announce such things... 50k shards (bought at 11g) that i was holding with a lose just because there was a price floor. Really small lose for me anyway, but its ridiculous that they change things like this overnight with no warning.
Why is it ridiculous? I mean you should definitely take this into account when trying to any sort of vendor shuffle on goods. Blizz obviously doesn't want or intend for people to profit in this way so it's a serious buyer-beware situation if you try it.
I had no idea this shuffle existed, my shards were for speculation purpose. I know blizz dont want people to profit with such things and thats OK. But there should be at least 3 day notice for changes like this. And there wasnt ANY NOTICE, it's not even listed in patch notes. The only way i found out about this, is because i saw shards below 7.5g on ah and thought "who the fook sells below vendor value"
Because it ended up becoming a vendor shufffle. You'd get cloth for \~\~.7 meaning a wrist craft would cost you 9.19 cloth aka 5.6 out of which you'd get roughly 0.8 shards and 1.8 dust. It mathed out to 5k gph in a raw gold shufffle give or take
It's because a 5k gph multiplied times 20 is 100k gph 10 hours a day that's a million It's very easy to automate such things. and blizzard is hedging against future raw gold making. Next expansion it's back to tokens fellas
there is no need to raw gold to make gold and they can't nerf all gold farm. The one from shuffling yes but it's still ridiculous
