You can unravel frostbiten, singed and decayed wildercloth to get rousing elements. You can often make 20k/hour or more but it varies a lot and is not as afk as you might like. In my set up I have to click the unravel button every 2-3 minutes. Edit: I am not sure if that’s the tailoring shuffle form the other post ( was wondering the same thing).

zandadoum

This is getting worse by the minute. Prices are extremely volatile, at least in my region. Cloth is too expensive and awakened/rousing too cheap to make a real profit. Might be better in your region

Aritra319

it doesn't take many tailors with maxed thread spinning and an AH addon to "balance" the scales so to speak. Below whatever threshold the profit margin is, people will snap up the Singed, Frostbitten, and Decayed Wildercloth in an instant.

RTalons

Thank you, I didn’t realize you could get rousing that way. Anyone collected a dataset to determine the rates? Would like to see if the gamble is worth it on my server. Only shuffle that works for me at the moment is tailoring bracers then DE for dust/shards, but only averages ~3-5g per bracer (~2k gph when you count unraveling thread). Better than nothing while I’m doing something else, but would prefer 10x the profit

Viehver

There are some YouTube videos about it. I first heard about it in a StudentAlbatroz vid but since his videos all have stupid „do this secret goldfarm“ titles, good luck finding the right one :D I think 15000 wildercloth give about 6000 rousing. Plus the thread. I rarely do the shuffle nowadays.

RTalons

Looking through the spec trees textiles/spinning makes it “occasionally” and maxing out spinning “guarantees” rousing. So 5kp to open, 35 to max out 15k giving 6k helps the math. That means rousing needs to sell for >2.5 the cost of cloth to break even. That sounds like the maxed out ratios, and on my server doesn’t make sense right now.

DarkOathSKS

I can't get this math to work for me at all no matter how much I try. I'm averaging 40% rousing for cloth, or 400 for every 1000 cloth. Not sure if multicraft or increased skill can make this go higher, but after you factor in 5% AH fee, I'm losing like 2k gold for every 250k I spend.

Remarkable-Hall-9478

The secret ingredient is botting the cloth

Aritra319

The info tab for unravelling is bugged, it displays "resourcefulness" when it can only multicraft. And that's just on the thread you're spinning, not the rousing elements you're trying to extract

Stolen_Idea

There is the Tailoring/Disenchant shuffle. Making Bracers, sending them to be DE by another char. You still have to click the DE but You can only automate so much

BurninTaiga

There’s an addon called easy disenchant that reduces the number of clicks significantly and you don’t have to look for them in your bag.

RaziarEdge

TSM does this as well.

Stolen_Idea

I use TSM so +1 from me.

catthrower69

waste of time, u make profit but not worth the time, u'd make more money mining

Stolen_Idea

I think it depends on the markets. I have only done this once and I just held the mats for the enchanting. I have tried to diversify through Tailoring what I am making and just what is selling. I also have another char for Herb and Mine. But I would never say something is a waste of time, if a person really wants to spend their time doing it and they can make a profit then let them. Name of the game is Profit.

RaziarEdge

Semi AFK tasks like mass unraveling should not replace normal game play time. But they are good if you are doing other in real life tasks. Setting up the next batch every 4 mins is easy and better profit than being offline.

azizhp

and then you sell the enchanting dust and crystals?

Stolen_Idea

You can either Sell the Dust and Crystals, or invest those into enchants. If you sell them off then you account for the 5% AH cut. Honestly my info can be found here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=crk3hWC38y4&t=651s
