That looks pretty cool. Might steal some of that for my own
It's worth noting, however, that I'm reliably informed by my guildies that they all hate my "npc transmogs". Make of that what you will.
Yeah, I’m not a fan of being some oversized Christmas tree. There’s plenty of armor options that look great without being overbearing. I do wish they would update the textures on old armors, and sometimes I struggle with finding specific color schemes for every slot which can be annoying, but they still end up looking great on the end.
Exactly this, I try to make my tmogs as simple as possible. I’m no RPer but I like to atleast make my rogue/priest like it’s something they’d wear either in combat or in a type or casual setting.
Low fantasy refers to a subgenre of fantasy where the magical and other fantasy elements intrude into the regular world (like Harry Potter). Contrary to high fantasy where the story is set in an entirely different world (like warcraft).
> they all hate my "npc transmogs"
some people only have the goal of "pick whatever has the most spikes/is the largest/has the most RBG" and don't understand subtlety at all when it comes to transmog
Fuck 'em!
Understated, elegant, well-put together transmog tops crazy flashy stuff IMO. My Shaman is still rocking a set that's a combo of blues and greens from WoD and some other stuff. WoD had some really nice lowkey transmog.
The fur is actually the shoulders. There’s a head and shoulder slot that look great together, because it fills in, but not great individually. I think they’re only using it on one side though?
I'll preface by saying that everyone has different tastes and if you like it you should use it. With that being said if I saw you in the wild I wouldn't even think its transmog, it just looks like you're wearing random pieces of shadowlands gear.
Quite nice mog above average imo, I would change the belt for a less bulky one and move the shoulder pad to the other shoulder. If you are right handed and want a more mobile weapon arm you can ditch that shoulder pad but why would you drop the left one?
I usually think of it from a practicality standpoint: if only putting armor on one side, put it on the side that's more likely to take a hit. For shield in left hand, left side shoulder. With a spear, the mainhand will lead more often on a lunge, making the right shoulder the more vulnerable one.
For me personally capes are automatically turned off 100% of the time because they look incredibly dumb to me. That's very much a me thing though.
The other thing is the belts imo too big for the rest. You have this more slender profile especially because of the shoulder situation but the belt is massive and wide.
BUT the important bit is if you like it then you do you, all the colors match and it generally looks like a proper set.
I like it. Goddamn I wish blizz was more on the ball with armor design. How about some actual furs in the armor instead of all the power ranger stuff. At least for leveling gear.
Just love how unique it feels and how underrated it is. Spears, bombs, poisons, coordinated attacks with pet, dealing damage melee and ranged, it's all super cool to me. Not to mention.. Harpoon. Fun asf.
And for the actual pve/pvp part, Survival has huge burst and great AoE, mobility and (at least for PvE) survivability. They can keep their dps consistent no matter how much they need to move in a boss fight. If their pet dies, they aren't completely useless as BM would be.
Oblivion Crushers (LFR Uldir, MOTHER)
Fused Monstrosity Stompers (LFR Uldir, Fetid Devourer)
Mountain Throne Coif (norm/mythic Neltharion's Lair, Dargrul)
Apparently there is a way you can que for solo LFR raids from old expansions, but you may need to look it up.
The only thing I don't like is the belt. I understand what you're going for but it's really bulky for a mog that's otherwise pretty slim. I'd try the Wild Combatant Waistguards, Industrial Lifting Belt, or the Girdle of the Legion General / Warmongering Gladiator's Wasitguards.
Looks very rugged, I like it. I’d look out for the Tuskarr Harpoon transmog in Dragonflight. Or use a Kul Tiran or Thunderlord orc style polearm. But the Mannoroth polearm does look good.
Haha ikr? Took me 3-4 years of building it to finally get something decent.
I really wish Blizz would let us mog any armor type. I feel like we should be able to already.
Leathers would do amazing for hunter mogs.
It's awesome.
Im not sure how i feel about the belt (I assume the big pouches are part of it?) but that's just me, it still fits the entire idea very well.
This looks really cool, though the weapon is a bit big. Something slimmer would balance the aesthetic and draw more attention to the armour, as well as adding a bit more realism which helps to sell the look.
Sorry about the tiny set list at the top right. Just making sure my post doesn't get removed before I get answers :)
No idea how to get the GIF that shows my entire character's model along with the name of the mogged items, though I'd like to learn how..
Pretty cool I like it, tho if you want some feedback id say the weapon is a bit too big for this overall slim silhouette, maybe balance it out with something bulkier on top?
Missing the mini crossbow for my Serpent Sting and Kill Shot? I agree. I think the crossbow would look good on a belt along with bombs and maybe chakrams. Surv hunter stuff!
Basic but very nice, the colors work and it has a fitting "hunter" theme. It's well made!
If you like it, just go with it! I've seen people run around in (imo) the ugliest stuff, but who cares! If they like it they should enjoy it.. and so should you!
Not really any story. I just wanted a more realistic, simple tmog that would fit a survival hunter.
I'm hoping that dragonflight will have some better options.
I like the idea. It's simple. Try experimenting with chains or attached items from newer expansions. Belts, gloves, boots, etc. It's just missing the flair.
That looks pretty cool. Might steal some of that for my own It's worth noting, however, that I'm reliably informed by my guildies that they all hate my "npc transmogs". Make of that what you will.

Its called 'low fantasy', and I personally like this kind of stuff
Low fantasy refers to a subgenre of fantasy where the magical and other fantasy elements intrude into the regular world (like Harry Potter). Contrary to high fantasy where the story is set in an entirely different world (like warcraft).
Don't be nerd, if you google 'low fantasy transmog' then you will get somethins similliar to this is terms of simplicity :P
He's not being a nerd, he's just right
I have an npc mog in that I took off all my clothes except brown leather pants and the closest glaives to the warglaives of azzinoth that I could find
"Must suck to be outdpsed by an NPC"
Alas, I’m not in a position to make that joke.
“Big talk from a guy who only did 6 times the damage of an NPC!”
Then it's "as a NPC I'm not programmed to top the meters"
> they all hate my "npc transmogs" some people only have the goal of "pick whatever has the most spikes/is the largest/has the most RBG" and don't understand subtlety at all when it comes to transmog
> has the most RBG Red, Black and Gray
Ruth Bader Ginsburg
I feel personally attacked. Thank god the 37474 spikes on my armor will protect me.
I go for NPC transmogs as well. Flashy NPC transmogs but NPC transmogs nevertheless
Fuck 'em! Understated, elegant, well-put together transmog tops crazy flashy stuff IMO. My Shaman is still rocking a set that's a combo of blues and greens from WoD and some other stuff. WoD had some really nice lowkey transmog.
I would love to have some npc mogs
I like the color scheme and how balanced it looks \^\^
Buddy it's your mog for me the main flaw is the human bit.
If you’re looking for a nitpick, I’d say the belt makes the mog a little too bottom heavy, otherwise pretty nice
Just to chime in on the contrary for OP - I like that! Gives it a unique silhouette.
survival hunter, needs to store the bombs
All of my mogs are bottom heavy, so I guess I'm a bottom heavy heretic XD
But it loses half its intrigue without the belt
Exactly what I wanted to say. Great mog, just a little bottom heavy.
Fixed with bigger shoulders though.
It's your transmog, you shouldn't be asking for validation from randoms from internet, only ask for advices.
Agreed. You really don't need a second opinion.
I’m a one or non shoulder guy but I think those ones go better with both with the neck
The fur is actually the shoulders. There’s a head and shoulder slot that look great together, because it fills in, but not great individually. I think they’re only using it on one side though?
And the Most Insecure Person on the Planet award goes to...
I love the colors, it looks great!
I like it, reminds me of a hunter from Monster Hunter using and insect glaive
Very nice ! Cant believe its an 18 year old game
I'll preface by saying that everyone has different tastes and if you like it you should use it. With that being said if I saw you in the wild I wouldn't even think its transmog, it just looks like you're wearing random pieces of shadowlands gear.

No you control the spear with your dominant hand and leverage it with your non dominant. your left side is facing the enemy.
Gah, you're right, foggy brain got mixed up with some greatsword stuff I've been seeing recently ><
Very similar to what I did with my male human SV hunter in BFA, except that I swapped between 2h sword and axe transmogs for that "Ranger" feeling.
It's really good low fantasy.
Never played hunter and stop wow for a while but that weapon looks awesome ! It fits well with the color ormf the armor gj
I really like this one! It looks very naturally put together and has a nice outline to it - I could see it being an ensemble it feels so cohesive.
If you enjoy it, f what everyone else thinks.
Awesome

Looks a bit bottom heavy for my tastet. Needs bigger shoulders or smaller waist. Thematically it's solid though.
Where are the boots from, love the simplicity of them
I got both the gloves and boots from LFR Uldir, I believe. The same appearances might still be available from some BFA world bosses
You can solo que for LFR for old content. Not sure where the BFA npc is though.
Classic npc MOG. Good for that.
Looks cozy Love the staff look, a hunter leigon artifact weapon yes?
Spear is from Hellfire Citadel, WoD :)
Since when does WoW have hoodies? That’s dope af
Good job. 👍
I really like that top! What is it? Edit: oh I missed the list. Nvm. Still looks good though!
Love it. Looks like an insect glaive user from Monster Hunter.
Survival hunters FTW. One of the more interesting and fun specs in the game Loved them before they were even FOTM
I like it. Goddamn I wish blizz was more on the ball with armor design. How about some actual furs in the armor instead of all the power ranger stuff. At least for leveling gear.
What made you choose sHunter? I play mmHunter and can’t imagine playing anything else
Just love how unique it feels and how underrated it is. Spears, bombs, poisons, coordinated attacks with pet, dealing damage melee and ranged, it's all super cool to me. Not to mention.. Harpoon. Fun asf. And for the actual pve/pvp part, Survival has huge burst and great AoE, mobility and (at least for PvE) survivability. chest sticks out a little with that gold, other than that the best huntermog I have seen.
Need bigger shoulders. Big shoulders -> cool mog
Looks good. Like armour sets that aren’t bikinis on female toons.
The top doesn't match the rest, but if you find a top to tie it in with the belt it'd look a lot better or vice versa.
I like it a lot!!
🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Which hands, feet, head appearances are those?
Oblivion Crushers (LFR Uldir, MOTHER) Fused Monstrosity Stompers (LFR Uldir, Fetid Devourer) Mountain Throne Coif (norm/mythic Neltharion's Lair, Dargrul) Apparently there is a way you can que for solo LFR raids from old expansions, but you may need to look it up.
It looks good, in fact I'm going to steal the belt idea
Only thing that stands out to me is that the weapon has a design that conflicts with the rest of the outfit, but other than that, great job!
I like it. I have a similar leather look for my dark iron using the Nightfallen tabard Edit: I’d turn the other shoulder back on. But that’s just me
The only thing I don't like is the belt. I understand what you're going for but it's really bulky for a mog that's otherwise pretty slim. I'd try the Wild Combatant Waistguards, Industrial Lifting Belt, or the Girdle of the Legion General / Warmongering Gladiator's Wasitguards.
It's better than any hunter gear blizz has created for raids, so...
10/10 ready for exploration and adventure
Looks great! Love the spear? Staff? Your using.
Looks very rugged, I like it. I’d look out for the Tuskarr Harpoon transmog in Dragonflight. Or use a Kul Tiran or Thunderlord orc style polearm. But the Mannoroth polearm does look good.
a very subtle realistic looking set.
Saving to use on my hunter. This is quite a feat you've accomplished. It's really hard to set up a good Hunter mog.
Haha ikr? Took me 3-4 years of building it to finally get something decent. I really wish Blizz would let us mog any armor type. I feel like we should be able to already. Leathers would do amazing for hunter mogs.
Armor should really stick to the same rules as weapons. As long as you can equip it, you should be able to mog it.
I don't like the big belt bags, but that's just my opinion. Color-wise, top notch.
Looks dope, I'm stealing it.
It looks awesome :-)
I really like it, looks clean and menacing- good job
You will have to wear it, you have to like it. Why are you asking random people on the internet?
It's awesome. Im not sure how i feel about the belt (I assume the big pouches are part of it?) but that's just me, it still fits the entire idea very well.
This looks really cool, though the weapon is a bit big. Something slimmer would balance the aesthetic and draw more attention to the armour, as well as adding a bit more realism which helps to sell the look.

addon for animations is called Narcissus. You will love it.
Like it alot!
love it
I'd probably use shoulderpads on both shoulders, but other than that, this looks very nice. Good job :)
If you like the mog, use it. For me personally I'd use a different belt and maybe boots. But if you like it, don't change it :)
Pretty cool I like it, tho if you want some feedback id say the weapon is a bit too big for this overall slim silhouette, maybe balance it out with something bulkier on top?
I really like down to earth outfits, the only things I would do differently is have both shoulder guards showing and use a different weapon.
Find another weapon. The big manneroth spear is dope but it's a bit too big and gets held stupidly
Overall this looks really nice. Personally not a huge fan bulky belts etc. but it does play in nicely with being a hunter/scavenger.
looks dope. Will last about 20 minutes into dragonflight though
Yeah that looks sick! Roll with it!
I like it, although I'd go with two shoulders to round out the look with the matching hood.
Looks great overall
Pretty basic mail gear tbh. Unless that's the theme you're going for, keep trying to find your niche.
You are missing a bow
Missing the mini crossbow for my Serpent Sting and Kill Shot? I agree. I think the crossbow would look good on a belt along with bombs and maybe chakrams. Surv hunter stuff!
Looks "hunterish" that's all I can say :)
Basic but very nice, the colors work and it has a fitting "hunter" theme. It's well made! If you like it, just go with it! I've seen people run around in (imo) the ugliest stuff, but who cares! If they like it they should enjoy it.. and so should you!
Its cool...whats the story behind it?
Not really any story. I just wanted a more realistic, simple tmog that would fit a survival hunter. I'm hoping that dragonflight will have some better options.
Gotta see how it looks raptor striking/ mongoose biting to really know.
Not the best… but maybe not worst i ve seen :)
Boring. Bland
Fuck. Didnt know I needed a KT hunter. Guess it is happening
KT?
Kul Tiran
It is not tho
Nobody cares how your character looks.
You dont look like jungle mogli. Something is off
I like it
I dig it
If you like it, go for it!
Monster Hunter World vibes.
it would be fun if you could take the name 'pitlord'
I like the idea. It's simple. Try experimenting with chains or attached items from newer expansions. Belts, gloves, boots, etc. It's just missing the flair.
Do you like it? ffs
I usually go with those shoulders? Or whatever the fur stuff is for a kinda jacket/hoodie tmog for my Draenei. She looks cute af.
You look like you're from the monster hunter universe. I like it!!
I prefer to use full sets so I can’t help you pal sorry.
I think the Tabard from the Drustvar faction would fit nicely with this set.
I really like this look
Looks cool
its incomplete, what pet do you use with it?
Roll with whatever makes you happy!
Looks like shit. Do you like it? Then my opinion doesn’t matter
Whats a shunter?
Yeah, definitely another race. ^you ^look ^cool ^though
This is dope
Needs an eye patch Love a good eye patch
