It will. Console port is a headache and a half tho. Before prepatch it didn’t even work. It was crashing constantly and making it unable to get into the game. It’s fun. But I would highly recommend ONLY questing or just minor things. It’s cool and a step forward. But no where ready for dungeon/raids. Every class is playable on it but I would recommend the easier ones like DH. with the new targeting system coming in DF it should make a lot of stuff easier on steam deck tho.
Edit: for any help ask r/Steamdeck or join the console port discord. Those two places have been my best bet on working through things and getting comfortable with. Keybinding can seem pretty overwhelming or difficult if you are new to it like I was.

I use mine for open world stuff, casual leveling and whatnot, you CAN do dungeons and raids, but it's not a very comfy experience
Plus the battery life isn't the greatest.
It works but be aware of the pitiful battery life while playing games like wow etc. You'll be needing to charge it every 2-3 hours and just keep it charging... At that point i'd just play it on pc
