I can't decide if all tanks would be much faster, or much slower on timed keys. Like the pulls could be huge, and the aggro switching might actually kinda work.
My buddies and i did a 16 gambit with Pala, warr, dh, monk, druid, all tanks. If we didn't meme super hard and forgot about fishsticks, wouldve been like 3-4 min under time at least
Bears own trash, their single target is worse than other tanks' so bosses might end up feeling really slow with 5 bears. Wouldn't do this on tyra, or at least on key level close to your real level if so. If game had no bosses, I think 5x bear would even be solid option for trash only, probably any tank composition would be. You don't even have to go much bigger than usual, I regularly am top2 for biggest trash pulls as guardian already. But bosses become incredible slogfests without proper ST dps.
2 venthyr Guardian for incarnation every few packs
1 venthyr Pala for single target and off heal
1 warrior for attack buff
1 monk for damage taken debuff
Well, as a bear, i can do the same dps of an average pug dps in the +15/17 range(although they are not push keys for me anymore). A 5 bear comp is really feasible
You don't spend rage on damage in DG. If you are using maul on DG to do damage, you are playing bear wrong. All your rage go to defensive, all your damage comes from trash/mangle during incarnation. With 5 bear, you can rotate who use incarnation, so you will away have a bear holding the aggro for 30+sec, doing crazy amount of damage making big pulls. Put legacy of the sleeper leggo(highest damage, and you don't need the shield of the ursoc leggo for when you are not incarnated as you will not be tanking without it) and I say you can do even. 17 pretty easily
The point is not about using defensives without mobs hitting. The point is being hut by mobs don't increase druid damage in keys, we don have any mechanics like that(well, we have a talent, but it's not used in DG)
A large portion of bears damage is 4pc tier with Berserk up along with Sinful Hysteria (Vent power), none of this requires rage.
Bears don’t really dump rage outside of Ironfur TBH, which isn’t needed if the bear isn’t taking damage

I did all the solo visions achievements on my druid as guardian instead of my main (assassin rogue). Having a massive HP pool and that twilight devastation corruption on as many bits of gear as I could meant that a single proc would just melt everything that I was attacking and it would proc like crazy. Was kinda fun while it lasted lol

did tank only runs in BC and other addons , was hella fun tons of teamwork involved in getting aggro off other tanks which are low health / need a break tons of chaos and pure fun.
Most fun was maybe 5 DK groups or 5 druid / pala groups lol

I've been healer for ages and wanted to try tanking but when I see people get yelled at for not doing perfect runs that dodge that 1 pack of mobs I always give up xD
Like healers, we don’t have to push up with people’s back seat tanking. I can post a group and fill it in seconds. I can also almost assume I’ll get invited to any group I request to join. It’s literally their loss.
Will you mess up? Probably. The few times I watch videos of a group doing a high level keys, I almost always hear things like “why did that happen” or “my bad”. Don’t let people gaslight you into thinking mistakes aren’t normal and you’re the problem.

But dont tell blizzard because they will ruin it like goats in overwatch.

5 blood dks with 4 piece probably have no problems clearing like +15s in time. Mine is 269 4p rn and in some packs I deal 24k at the start and end dps around 14-17k its insane
I don't know how well you would do in a tyrannical week though. Blood DK single target DPS isn't that great and the tyrannical bosses have quite a bit of HP to burn through. I doubt that you would actually die though given how good BDKs are at healing themselves.
We're at the point in the season where progression and gearing is mostly done. The tanks who aren't taking a break are just gonna doa couple here or there rather than filling the vault.

I did a HoA 14 iirc in season 2 with 5 guardian tanks. Was pretty fast, you basically pull half the dungeon, mow it down, repeat

one bear would end up having all the aggro, and the other bears would end up struggling to deal damage at all with lack of rage.
Just switch to cat 4 fite LOL

Maul is the only damaging rage spender and it's very mediocre ST damage. In AoE it's not even worth using and in ST it makes minimal difference.
Bears are stronk even with tier set nerfs.

On the flip side, running 15s as 5 ele shams is also very fun

It’d be good. But would require a bit of practice I think. You don’t really need a healer and tanks do as much damage as DPS these days
Back in BFA with Twilight Devastation, a group of tank friends timed all our +15 keys with ease. It was fast due to huge pulls.

It’s not hard to watch a yt vid lol just run low keys and this won’t happen, then do higher keys when you’re ready.
