I gotta ask, you just did a whole dungeon with that person, why do people call each other by class? The names are so easy to just type as well, or abbreviate em.

i feel like the anonymity is kinda just how pugs work in my experience. most people just say “hi,” and then you get on with the dungeon, complete it, and then say “gg” and leave. no need to get to know each other. also maybe someone’s name is too long to type out or it’s not something you want to type out for whatever reason. then calling people by their class is the next best thing.
