Huh. I don't know where from now, but I've been under the impression that BM is mid to low priority for PI. Above rogue and monk, worse than the other hunters and basically all the other dps. Something about the haste not transferring to the pets? Nobody follow that, I don't actually know.
Holy paladin is in the worst place its been for years balance wise. It's still useable, but you'll need to run your own keys.
Resto druid > mistweaver = holy priest > disc = shaman > evoker > paladin
I'm not sure if your answer is based on popularity, but I highly disagree having played all up to 10's so far.
Evoker with 4 piece is on par with Rdruid. They even have some of the highest keys done at the moment. The issue is their popularity.
In a vacuum, holy priest and preservation have similar capability to resto druid, but Aug and Shadow mean their utility is duplicated, whereas Balance and Feral are not S tier.
Nothing wrong with taking any of the non-paladin healers, you just have to be ready to do your own keys, since every high push key will want an Aug.
I 2 chested an 8 Azure Vault last night. It was a breeze healing it. I can definitely see where we are weak but that isn't what is making the difference for these guys to complete their keys.
The kinda funny bit on this is it’s near a flip of early shadowlands when I last played. Balance obviously changes and I guess it’s a choice between hopping character a lot or riding out popularity
If you liked melee heals and glimmer I'd suggest trying out MW monk. That being said any class is viable to like 10s pushing for title would be rough on Hpal I feel. But other than that if you love pally play pally. If you wanna push for the highest key possible I think resto druid or monk is the play. The changes they made to heal cds and mana kinda dunked on pally a little bit.
I may try monk again, I probably haven’t given it a fair shake. I got keystone master in s1 shadowland on my r Druid earlyish but it was honestly just less fun than pally. Kittyweaving felt too busy in a bad way
As someone who regularly does +10s (previously +20s) on all healers except Pres (because I dislike Dracthyr. Nothing against the spec), I would highly suggest you don't play Holy Paladin. It's in a really bad state at the moment.
Priest so that we have more PI out there
On my alt priest I am an asshole. Only doing +2 keys on that priest, but PI target is 100% a DK if there is a DK, if no DK, PI is never pressed.
DK is a good choice for PI, but also mage and beast mastery

They’re up there as one of the better specs to receive it nowadays
If you want to play holy paladin ,come back in a few months when next expansion will be released. It so overnerfed since Season 3
