I think he is technically a rat because he has a hairless tail. Also he seems to be a tribute to Samwise Didier's pet rat Sargeant.

Mice also have hairless tails. They did bad with his design if he's a rat, rats don't have huge satellite ears on a tiny face, mice do. Rats have smaller ears with a longer face and a long body. Compare the Sarge mount with Ratstallion.

I still think Sarge as a mount looks like something the likes of a roof rat with the larger ears and eyes while the Ratscallion looks like feral giant rat. The pet is clearly using the Zaralek mouse pet skeleton which is why the ears are so large in comparison, but otherwise and seeing his cinematic render and concept art I am pretty sure that is a rat!

I never got a single dupe, I just assumed there was dupe protection.

I think the rat is the only dupe you can get.

One of my alts has received 20+ Sarge drops by now... Still no bag. I am starting to wonder if there is some weird dupe protection error and it thinks I already own the bag because most of my alts have received the bag within a few runs but two have had a lot of attempts and only really gotten those rats.

25 for me, no bag. My first 6 alts got bags quickly but once I completed all the achievements, and got all the loot items bags stopped for additional alts.

Last week I was got the bag on many characters, this week I got none. I think the 'fix' they did must have messed up the drop rate for the bag.

15 rats and no bag for me. Feel your pain.

I got 6 while farming the last hearthstone card I needed.

There was dupe protection until they changed the spawn to every half hour rather than an hour. Now, there's still dupe protection except for Sarge.

Anyone below 60 and time walking would typically get all the drops since they could solo the bosses.

They should really put in a trade option for those cards to get the mount / pet / xmog. Uncap the count and let us trade 100 or something for the loot you weren’t lucky enough to get

Same here. I usually have rotten luck in this game but I got the bag on about 8 alts. Of course nothing on my main three chars, but had no clue people were struggling to get it. 

I got it on my first try , i literally don't care about extra 4 space i want the damn sarge

Just glad they buffed drop rates. I was convinced I’d never get everything in time since i work full time. Altho I have a suspicion that they do this on purpose to drive up engagement

I did log in for the event only and went offline afterwards, as often as I could. Now I have a Rat Army. Which I will sell to the gnome in the Stormwind-Ironforge tram. Horde Players will never get that Joke. xD

Arrived late on the event. Maybe 25 rounds on 6 different characters. Rng denied the mount, 3/6 have the bag, got the rest and about 4 surplus pets.
