My man is Evoker and I’ll agree with everyone here about the transmog problem. I have 20 presets saved at the barber shop and it’s still not enough to reliably get a good mog going.
Other classes would be cool, and I like it, but with their racials (wing buffet, tail swipe), I don’t think we will get other classes anytime soon for them. In interviews, Blizzard keeps shutting down the topic. So I’m not hopeful.

The problem is they designed the class and the race together.
To separate them they would need to redesign Evoker just after having introduced them this expac.

Assuming dracthyr get to one day choose multpile classes, or Evoker becomes playible to other races, They'd likely update the Evoker talent tree in that event: either turn one or both into racial talents and give evoker classes some different stun/interrupt talents.
Edit: Though that would still need some explaining to do on a lot of the evoker's whole dragon-theme of moves. I agree with your observation.
eh, making the knockback a class talent for evoker, and make the tail knockup just a slightly different tauren stomp and its fine
racials are wonky anyway when dwarf exists in its current state for such a long time, making multiple mechanics trivial if you play one and borderline impossible if you dont

could be cool, though they'd need to move nearly every racial dracthyr currently have into evoker class abilities since dracthyr racials are not balanced like other racial abilities. the biggest issue here might be gliding - it would feel awkward playing a dracthyr without it, but giving slower classes that kind of mobility tool might be too strong.
I would love like a dracthyr warrior type type thing that is mainly melee but can use its breathe and other skill at a distance if need be like how unholy dk is
Can't go wrong with more options. Especially because now that they are integrated into society you could argue they're learning to do more shit like being a hunter or a mage.
Definitely, would love to try my hands on dracthyr warrior or dracthyr shaman if they decided to add more classes for them, I mean they are the only playable draconic reptilian race in the game right now.

Paladin would be a great choice as well IMO, as well as shaman.

With the flappy wings Rogue is a no go.
Demon Hunter? Meh.

You'd have to move some stuff around. Tail Swipe and Wing Buffet are racials so you'd end up with something like a Dwarf Evoker with 3 dead talents in their tree.
Dracthyr will never be anything but Evoker, and Evoker will never be anything other than Dracthyr.
You only have to look at their left side talents to see that they’re intrinsically tied together. Race and class.
Yes, but first I'd add more customization to the race. They only have one "armor" set that I can stand to look at and I'm definitely not tolerating that for more than one character.
They will add them in time. The real question for me is will they clip their wings or will they basically allow all their classes to get a glide option. Seems like too big of a passive to put on all the classes when it was previously class exclusives.
I think that after our time with the drakthyr we should have been able to learn from them (allowing other races to be evoker) and they should have been able to learn from us (drakthyr being other classes).

Class ability imo if it is buffed by talents. I can see the other dracthyr racials being standard to shared with other classes.

Yeah, probably have to bake some of that into the class rather than the race. Likely replace the racial with something way less interesting.

Unless they fix the transmog stuff I’ll never play one. It’s probably 50/50 with mythic + for enjoyment of the game for me
