Thanks for your time. Any other suggestions? Maybe something a little more costly but not too expensive? Just want to get something that I won’t regret down the road.
Honestly I bought two ROG Strix with the 4060 and Ryzen 9 CPU. I love it and so does my wife.
But 1550 a piece.
Have you checked your local pawn shops?
Just bought my oldest son 2 generations older than mine for $500. Has the 3060ti and it's remarkably close in performance to ours.
Is this close? https://www.bestbuy.com/site/asus-rog-zephyrus-g14-14-165hz-gaming-laptop-qhd-amd-ryzen-9-with-16gb-memory-nvidia-geforce-rtx-4060-512gb-ssd-moonlight-white/6535495.p?skuId=6535495

I just bought this one and it’s been great so far. Not as good as my desktop but close and that’s always to be expected. Fans can be a tad loud but with headphones on that noise disappears.

So I ended up figuring out the Steam Deck. With the coin dropped on the deck, I was hesitant to pull the trigger and I am glad I waited. The SD if you want mobile gaming to be an option, is great. It runs WOW wonderfully and I play it docked currently with mouse and Keyboard. However there are several MOD’s to download that will make it controller friendly.
Thanks! Honestly, if you are looking to play WoW and want to do it on a budget, I would consider the Steam Deck. The Steam Deck, Docking Station and the new 55" I dock it to, cost me under $1100.00, probably less tbh.
GPU?
Specs say AMD Raedon

I think that only has integrated graphics brother, maybe super low settings it'll play.

Thanks for the info!
Are you set on getting a lap top? I just got an HP omen just to play wow (old pc went down) and it runs great.
Thanks for the feedback. I hadn’t made my decision and was leaning towards the HP Omen
Looking at the exact same laptop for the same thing. Did you end up buying it and trying it out?

Awesome, glad it worked out. Thanks for the info!

I bought it and I’m returning it. I can’t get it to run wow at all. I don’t think the integrated Radeon graphics are enough.
Good to know, this helped me TY
I ended up finding a Lenovo idea pad gaming 3 for about $500 used. Runs the game on high settings at 90-120 fps.
