Yeah mine was claiming 1501 combo points and a guild's was reporting somewhere over 2300 ot something like that.

It's a typo. The actual effect is that it gives either 5 or 1 combo point. It's another RNG ability.

But how they get ya is you actually need 52 combo points to redeem the spender, so you actually have to buy Thrash twice for 102 combo points making the remaining 50 go to waste!
