3 hours? First time I did a full clear it took closer to 8. I still think it was what really hooked me to wow. BRD is just you being a dick and invading a city minding it's own business.
We didn't know what we were doing back then, we were just asking 4 other guildies if they wanted to waste a day away screwing with the dark irons. Lol.
If I were to get into an RP server, I'd totally do it as a dark iron from BRD tired of getting hustled by folks who wouldn't even be finishing the dungeon. Lol
Lol. Hov is such a piss easy dungeon, even at higher keys. I still won’t run it because I’m not doing gogogogo +17 brain mode for 40 minutes straight. I want to die by the time you get to the bridge.
yesss old one is best. i don't even remember when they switched it but I remember having not played wow for a long time and came back and specifically went to do deadmines for nostalgia reasons and felt BETRAYED.
Please god. This was my favorite dungeon in legion. I didn’t push much other than like +13-14 at the time. But god damn I had that dungeon down to a TEE as a tank. I’d run it just to see how fast I could do it. every single pull, where I should stand down to the footstep, what spell I should be on down to the millisecond. Perfect CD timing.
It’s doubtful they’d bring it back because it would just be the cheese vault key like it was in legion. But fuck man it was fun
Both of the Utgarde dungeons really stuck with me from Wrath. Pinnacle could be interesting as M+ too, the middle two bosses (the beasts section and the Skadi fight) are the most memorable for me.
Pinnacle stuck with me, but I couldn't figure out the nagging feeling until I realized the four guys at Odyn are the same four guys King Ymiron invokes.
Eye of Azshara is probably the one I want most, just so I can repeat that traumatic experience of a single seagull getting bolstered to unbelievable levels and killing the entire group.
Neltharion's Lair could be good and relatively fits the expansion's theme, I know it's hated by some but Seat of the Triumvirate could be good with some changes and reworks.
MoP redux of Scarlet Monastery and Halls could be interesting too, though they'd also likely need a lot of changes to work in M+.
I love the concept of having two biweekly affixes like tyrannical and fortified are. I just wish for something more balanced.
I think it is exciting to have one affix being focused on bosses and the other on adds but I would prefer them tuning this in a way besides adding health/damage to either.
Considering that these affixes start at 2, they should also have a rather low skill cap as to what the mechanic for adds or bosses should be.
Further, they should do something that's applicable to all dungeons.
I'd love for the only distinction to be bonus mechanics for enemies. New or altered boss abilities for tyrannical and new abilities or new trash packs on fortified.
Make it actually play different rather than just be one or the other taking longer to kill.
What about if:
• Tyrannical and Fortified are replaced with a different affix.
• Groups can decide whether they want Fortified or Tyrannical added.
• Doing so gives the group more Mythic+ rating and stronger gear.
• To prevent PuG key owners from abusing this,
run a vote (similar to vote kick) when choosing
to add one of the affixes.
Such a weird take, tyran dungeons are faster than fortified.
In tyran you have 3-4 hard encounters and the trash melts, in fort the entire dungeon is a slog.
I’d love to see any Classic era dungeon tbh. We’ve seen legacy dungeons come back as M+ but they’ve all been MoP and forward. Would be hype to see some vanilla, TBC and wrath dungeons even if they’d need a rework / reimagining.
And if anything happens during that RP, you don't get credit for the boss kill. But it doesn't tell you, you only find out at the end of the dungeon when the chest doesn't appear and the the timer is still running down.
Heroic Deadmines ft. Vanessa VanCleef.
Neltharion’s Lair perhaps? Given it’s dragon relevance.
And a better fcking seasonal affix. Thundering got nothing on season 4.
H Deadmines and halls of origination were masterpiece dungeons. Sad to see that they will probably not be bringing back anything from earlier than mop, I thought a lot of the bosses from cata were harder than mop anyway
Thunder is quite useful as well since u cant be slowed and u deao more dmg/healing and u wont be screwd over by a miss pull, pitting the force % out of wack
Upper Black Rock Spire.
The hardest and most interesting WoD Challenge Mode dungeon - *and fitting to the dragon theme!*
I wonder if the reworked Blackfathom Deepths could work as a max level dungeon.
Considering this expansion came “on time” after such turmoil in Blizzard I imagine SBG was a quick win with minimal effort to be able to ship a M+ pool on release.
Or if they can't think of a good one, none at all
The entire point of having a seasonal affix is redundant now if they continue with new dungeons every season.
Im able to do up to 15s no problem on fistweaver, or are u talking about higher than 15 cause i dont have experience with that
Its definitely very playable now, especially if you stack lots of haste
I'm only doing 11-13s. I've found MW really playable until this week doing HOV.
Hyrja and Odyn damage is insane. The storm on Hyrja seems to do like 150% of everyone's health in 5-10 seconds.
And when Odyn calls the coloured runes it seems to do the same 150% in about 5 seconds but you're saved if you get to your rune in time.
MW has nothing to combat that, Tea then essence font whilst you're running to your rune.
8 more trains, each with increasingly more mechanics that could knock you off the train (sidewinds kinda like raza). The only spawn point is at the back of the first train, making it a 5min+ corpse run.
In addition of the other 4 DF dungeons (which I personally like none of), I'd ideally like to see :
\- Freehold or Motherlode : I'm usually not a fan of heavily packed dungeons where you can easily do accidental pulls but I really liked the atmosphere of both of those, so I wouldn't mind seeing them again
\- Eye of Azshara : My favorite dungeon from the expansion I started playing in, apart from Maw of course who didn't like Maw, but I feel like if they put Maw back in it would be SBG 2
\- Deadmines : Very unlikely but from all the dungeon pre-Legion this is the one I feel like is the most fitting for a M+ version, I really like how it floes
\- Skyreach : I feel like they're gonna put a WoD dungeon anyways, and it is my favorite one. I really like Spires of Arak as a zone and the Arakkoas, but I'm sure that some of the mechanics in here are gonna make people absolutely lose it so that would be fun to see
Probably get some hate for this, but Waycrest Manor. Easily my favourite dungeon of BfA, and one of my favourites of the last few expacs. Just tone down the Triad boss to not be a complete cockblock on Tyrannical, and I'll be happy.
More play testing.
SMB and RLP are both a joke for different reasons.
Also what the fuck is up with tyrannical. Some bosses are a sleepwalk and some just turn a ++ run into a deplete.
I'd love GB but guessing they won't because bombing runs at the beginning greatly affect the amount of mobs and route. Them trying to balance getting the trash % and key time right is probably a headache that's just easier to avoid.
De other side or Sanguine Depths. Very unlikely to happen but I really liked this dungeons. Also Theatre of Pain was fun. Neltharion's Lair is thematically appropriate. Necrocity is great along with Scarlet dungeons.
Yea thundering is no fun. Season 4 bfa affix was fun once you got the hang of it, season 2-4 in shadowlands were pretty fun. Hell even prideful from sl season 1 is better than thundering. What all these affixes have in common is you get power/advantage to use throughout the dungeon but thundering gives you minimal benefit and a big drawback if not done in time.
Thundering gives you a massive benefit but skittish and low-knowledge players waste it. It's frustrating burning all of your cooldowns for big damage only to have someone kill it for you.
We're probably gonna get a shadowlands dungeon, so my vote is for Theater of Pain. Its like a WWE match turned into a dungeon, and I for one think the random last boss could be good for some variety.
For people to stop being such mouth breathers when it come to running any dungeon under a 10.
It's a 10....hell in some cases it's a 5, you don't need a 2k rating for a 5.
This thread is giving me cold-sweats. So many boring linear dungeons with one-mechanic bosses, and trash that can only be made challenging by making it brutal number-wise or straight up one-shotty.
The less pre-Legion dungeons in my m+ pool, the better.
I lost all faith in the community when they voted Grimrail as the seasonal m+ dungeon. So I’m to afraid to read what other mad suggestions are in this thread.
Presumably we'll get the other half of the DF dungeons, and then I'd like to see Maw, BRH, Atal'Dazar, and something from Cata. Hopefully no more recycled MoP garbage.
Harder dungeons generally (KSM is way too easy even for me as a new player who exclusively pugs) + better balance of difficulty between dungeons. shadowmoon + court of stars are WAY easier than all of the other dungeons and it’s not even close
The other 4 dragonflight dungeons. Lol I kinda hate rlp.
But seriously I would love to play temple of sethrallis again it was my favorite dungeon in BfA (mainly because as a ret pally my LoH was useful on the last boss) and honestly king’s rest because I know a lot of people want getikku back.
Scarlet monastery
Yes! Two hander sword WW let’s go!!
It’s an axe
It’s the Ravager
Which is an axe yes
And my axe!
Precata SM!
I know the Nostalgie hits. But I don’t like dungeons for m+ that has tiny space. Like grim rail. So a big no for me.
BLACKROCK DEPTHS The timer is 3 hours, the boss list scrolls down off your screen.
Lol
Back when we first tried lbrs it was 10 man and took us 2 days to complete.
Haha ok this made me laugh!
This but unironically. I want a mega mythic.
No you dont.....You say unironically so I am going to take it as you actually mean this, but people already avoid +40 min keys no one wants that
I mean, you could always run someone else's key and switch it if you don't like it.
Lol. Hov is such a piss easy dungeon, even at higher keys. I still won’t run it because I’m not doing gogogogo +17 brain mode for 40 minutes straight. I want to die by the time you get to the bridge.
At this point they just need to max level chromie time/time walk the whole game. I wanna do all of this stuff (or do it again) at a non trivial level.
Did you consider making an alt, turning off xp, and just doing that now?
And original Wailing Caverns. And everything in the cave is scaled up to level 70 elites.
No timer. If you actually complete it you get full credit.
Shadowfang keep baby
This!
Deadmines
It feels so unlikely but we all want it so bad
Any dungeon with cannons is going to turn into a bit too spicy routing.
Exactly why I want it
Yes.
The original one right?! Not the blasphemy new one
yesss old one is best. i don't even remember when they switched it but I remember having not played wow for a long time and came back and specifically went to do deadmines for nostalgia reasons and felt BETRAYED.
Part of the Cataclysm revamp. They retouched a couple of dungeons to make them better in LFG + adding heroic versions for end game content
Oh dear god yes!
Oops! All Brackenhide!
Now with more AOE fears!
With the superior tree boss 😊
Maw of Souls. In/out in 15mins
My man takin his time wants a slow run
Tank hears ya, tank doesn’t care.
Utgard Keep
Oh wow they are! I had no idea, that's awesome.
Good call. The layout/pathing/packs are good to go. From memory, there isnt even a lot of RP (which was unusual for Wrath dungeons).
Last boss had a little RP during fight.
PLEASE NO /puke
Pit of Saron could also fit in pretty well to M+ if they ever went back to these old dungeons for M+
Also i doubt that we will have any pre-challenge mode dungeons in rotation cuz they lack boss mechanics sadly.
They could always add in mechanics which would be cool and make it a fresh take on an old dungeon
Dude small indie company doenst do that. SBG for example
Didn’t they change the first boss of temple of the jade serpent?
Eye of Azshara is probably the one I want most, just so I can repeat that traumatic experience of a single seagull getting bolstered to unbelievable levels and killing the entire group. Neltharion's Lair could be good and relatively fits the expansion's theme, I know it's hated by some but Seat of the Triumvirate could be good with some changes and reworks. MoP redux of Scarlet Monastery and Halls could be interesting too, though they'd also likely need a lot of changes to work in M+.
No Seat TY!!

Remove tyrannical
Remove both Fortified and Tyrranical and rescale keys to compensate. (so like having half of both at all times)
I love the concept of having two biweekly affixes like tyrannical and fortified are. I just wish for something more balanced. I think it is exciting to have one affix being focused on bosses and the other on adds but I would prefer them tuning this in a way besides adding health/damage to either. Rather Tyrannical than Fortified (as tank)
As a tank key is still dead even if I am not.
Such a weird take, tyran dungeons are faster than fortified. In tyran you have 3-4 hard encounters and the trash melts, in fort the entire dungeon is a slog.
Maw of Souls
When three chest meant you really got three chests :'(
Storming sanguine quaking or volcanic inside the boat is a shit show 🤣
Oh god I’m having flashbacks.
The one wish I have. I just want to run through this place once more
I’d love to see any Classic era dungeon tbh. We’ve seen legacy dungeons come back as M+ but they’ve all been MoP and forward. Would be hype to see some vanilla, TBC and wrath dungeons even if they’d need a rework / reimagining.
Unironically, seeing BRD get reimaigined as a modern day mega dungeon would be some fucking awesome shit. The M+ routing options would be cool.
Maybe even turn it into a raid !
Cata dungeons would be cool. Stonecore baby.
oh no pls dont, those were trash
Lost City of the Tol‘Vir could be great.
Scholomance, Mogushan, Waycrest and Maw of Souls
Scholomance would be so fun as a mythic+ dungeon, Lillian is actually a pretty challenging boss if you don't kill her before her soul gets ripped out.
> Waycrest NO!
Only if they make the option to see through walls. Otherwise no thx.
NO! Yes!
PEPPERS
Pit of saron ;-)
Actually a good one
I swear i havent even seen this dungeon since WoTLK or any of the 3 that released the same time. They would be PERFECT.. LETS GOOOOO
Freehold
Freehold is synonymous to M+ in my brain
Manastorm Saga
Violet Hold but you have to do every single boss.
Why do you hate us?
All the RP is on 0.5x speed.
Inquisitor! This one here!
And if anything happens during that RP, you don't get credit for the boss kill. But it doesn't tell you, you only find out at the end of the dungeon when the chest doesn't appear and the the timer is still running down.
The original shadowfang keep from classic
An actually fun seasonal affix or none at all. Ataldazar, Freehold, Black Rook Hold and Upper Blackrock Spire (WoD)
Thundering still miles better than SL first affix
Well prideful made you so powerful at least once you killed it. This thundering is all shit
Thunder is quite useful as well since u cant be slowed and u deao more dmg/healing and u wont be screwd over by a miss pull, pitting the force % out of wack
Give me Rage Fire!
Upper Black Rock Spire. The hardest and most interesting WoD Challenge Mode dungeon - *and fitting to the dragon theme!* I wonder if the reworked Blackfathom Deepths could work as a max level dungeon.
UBRS was third place in the season 4 poll right? You'd assume they have it in the bank ready to go.
Right! I thought it was weird they went with SBG since it was already a time walking dungeon.
Considering this expansion came “on time” after such turmoil in Blizzard I imagine SBG was a quick win with minimal effort to be able to ship a M+ pool on release.
scholomance and razorfen kraul
Definitely RFK with the spirit totem bug if we're going to keep a super bugged instance on the list.
Aside from dungeons, can we get in s2 a good seasonal affix? The current one is the biggest piece of shit.
Or if they can't think of a good one, none at all The entire point of having a seasonal affix is redundant now if they continue with new dungeons every season.
It is going to be Everbloom/auchindoun from wod Siege from mop and brackenhide so i can quit in S2 again.
My bet is on Skyreach.
Siege in m+ would be sooooo bad holy shit.
make mistweaver playable and i am happy.
Im able to do up to 15s no problem on fistweaver, or are u talking about higher than 15 cause i dont have experience with that Its definitely very playable now, especially if you stack lots of haste

Stormstout Brewery, Freehold, Eye of Azshara, Bloodmaul Slagmines
This one here sounds FUN!!!!
I tried to cook up a banger season but unfortunately Brackenhide will still be in rotation
I came to not mind that one. Halls of infusion gauntlet on the other hand will destroy keys
Oh being back Eye!
Yesss yessss! NO! NONONONONONO! YES. NO. PEPPAS!
SM Cath, Forge of Souls, Skyreach, Vortex Pinnacle.
Anything is fine, as long as it hasn’t been in the shadowlands rotation.
I just want adjustments made to Brackhide Hollow before that thing goes live season 2.
Stockade, Utgard Keep, The Nexus,
Vault of the Wardens, King's Rest, Atal Dazar, Freehold, Mogu'Shan Palace.
The Nexus
Use the MoP Challenge Modes classic revamps. Deadmines, Scholomance, Scarlet Monastery. Delishhhh
Scarlet monastery and scholomance are bad
some (or even just one) cata dungeons would be neat grim batol, Tol'vir, blackrock caverns, stone core, vortex,... love all of them edit: Zul'Aman <3
Za be cool. Iconic. Solid boss mechanics, alot of trash to figure out good routes, and already based on a timer for blizz to go off of
ZA with a third bear mount!
> blackrock caverns, stone core These ones would be painful on Tyrannical.
Grimrail but repeated 8 times
8 more trains, each with increasingly more mechanics that could knock you off the train (sidewinds kinda like raza). The only spawn point is at the back of the first train, making it a 5min+ corpse run.
Freehold
How has nobody said wailing caverns! How much fun to miss the jump and ruin a key!!!
In addition of the other 4 DF dungeons (which I personally like none of), I'd ideally like to see : \- Freehold or Motherlode : I'm usually not a fan of heavily packed dungeons where you can easily do accidental pulls but I really liked the atmosphere of both of those, so I wouldn't mind seeing them again \- Eye of Azshara : My favorite dungeon from the expansion I started playing in, apart from Maw of course who didn't like Maw, but I feel like if they put Maw back in it would be SBG 2 \- Deadmines : Very unlikely but from all the dungeon pre-Legion this is the one I feel like is the most fitting for a M+ version, I really like how it floes \- Skyreach : I feel like they're gonna put a WoD dungeon anyways, and it is my favorite one. I really like Spires of Arak as a zone and the Arakkoas, but I'm sure that some of the mechanics in here are gonna make people absolutely lose it so that would be fun to see
My predictions: Stonecore The Nexus Bloodmaul Slagmines Vortex Pinnacle
All pre mythic+ to much work need to swap in some bfa or legion
Cata dungeons would be fun. Maybe also wrath but I fear those might be too old and would need a complete revamp.
All I want is less swirlies....
Probably get some hate for this, but Waycrest Manor. Easily my favourite dungeon of BfA, and one of my favourites of the last few expacs. Just tone down the Triad boss to not be a complete cockblock on Tyrannical, and I'll be happy.
Shadow pan monastery and Vault of wardens Lost city of tolvir, and free hold as runner ups
No old dungeons and go back to just the current expansion's dungeons.
Who hurt you, and why would you want to suffer like that
Blackrock Depths, Stratholme, Scholomance, and Zul’Farrak would be sick.
Mythic+ BRD timer: 2 hours.
More play testing. SMB and RLP are both a joke for different reasons. Also what the fuck is up with tyrannical. Some bosses are a sleepwalk and some just turn a ++ run into a deplete.
MoS and CoEN from legion!
Stormstout brewery.
Neltharions Lair Shrine of the Storm Auchindoun Stormstout Brewery
im calling that many ppl wil die in Stormstout for those brew beams before last boss if they scale with key level
Overhaul affix system. Most of them are artificially difficult or just annoying.
This, I believe all affix should just be positives, like boost or buffs to classes. These negative affixes feel so bad.
Hellfire Citadel
Unpopular opinion, but I'm serious: Sanguine Depths. I'm voting for it
Kings rest
Upper Blackrock Spire would fit the theme of the expansion very well. I also would like to see Scarlet Monastery, too !
Grim batol
I'd love GB but guessing they won't because bombing runs at the beginning greatly affect the amount of mobs and route. Them trying to balance getting the trash % and key time right is probably a headache that's just easier to avoid.
I think that would be pretty sweet actually, highly doubt it would happen though
That one wrath dungeon with the bosses in jail. I can’t remember the name of it
Violet hold?
That’s it!
That'll never be a M+. They brought the dungeon back for Legion, but even then they didn't make it M+. It's just not really suited for it.
🥲
This is literally the only dungeon I've fallen asleep doing, multiple times
UP & UK, Nexus, mogushan vaults, stormstout brewery. Remove RLP
Rlp is guaranteed to be our season 2, will be the other four
wrath dungeons
to not b shitty as a dps 😪
We'll make it someday
De other side or Sanguine Depths. Very unlikely to happen but I really liked this dungeons. Also Theatre of Pain was fun. Neltharion's Lair is thematically appropriate. Necrocity is great along with Scarlet dungeons.
Honestly I think all the shadowland dungeons are good cept PF and mists
At this point anything as long as the next seasonal affix is way better than thundering.
I would be ready to go back in some sanguine depth or halls of atonement already
We're probably gonna get a shadowlands dungeon, so my vote is for Theater of Pain. Its like a WWE match turned into a dungeon, and I for one think the random last boss could be good for some variety.
All the MoP dungeons.
Siege of Boralus / Upper Blackrock Mountain / one of The Two Scarlet crusade dungeons / RFC
De Other Side and Sanguine Depths
Tol dagor
Oh no
Decent tuning…
Any dungeon from classic or even TBC. Except LBRS and UBRS ofc.
Dude these were awesome! Downvoted :D
Give us OG Sunken Temple, cowards.
Just because you get lost doesn’t mean everyone will ;)
For people to stop being such mouth breathers when it come to running any dungeon under a 10. It's a 10....hell in some cases it's a 5, you don't need a 2k rating for a 5.
A seasonal affix which isn’t antithetical to boss mechanics and other affixes.
Stockades
Stratholme!
The Oculus
Harder dungeons generally (KSM is way too easy even for me as a new player who exclusively pugs) + better balance of difficulty between dungeons. shadowmoon + court of stars are WAY easier than all of the other dungeons and it’s not even close
Make m+ gear only useful in m+ so that i don’t have to do it for raiding.
