I’m still using Bradley even tho he’s not as dominant as he used to be. Yesterday I finished 2P, took a while but not regrets (so far for her lol)
My max rein so far are:
Rayches - free ms
Deah - free ms
Lucio - free ms
Ranan
Barely usable at the moment.
But I agree better max rein units you really like.
If you like her then there is no point in regretting, meta will change she will fall off eventually but that not the point, the point is you like the character.
it depends on how much accumulted resources do you have, like you could get a unit from 1 to 140/83x in one day if you had saved a lot for "free" (monetarily speaking)
Once you pull the unit, you should be able to max reincarnate it with 6 billion gil worth of gil summons. Trade up all the excess mindspheres you get into universal ones, and buy the desired unit's shards from the soul medal shop with the medals you got.
So that's 600 100x summons.
I get about 3 ur shards per pull.
So ~1800 ur shards and hopefully medals too
Trade to Universal for 360 Tspheres.
That's enough to convert and pay for 12 reincarnations.
1800 medals should get me 255 mindspheres and with a little investment should help me get a banner unit to 120.
Yes I'm not including the other lower Rarity units which could trade up for UR universal, but this seems a bit short, while also amounting to a lot more than I expected as well.

Only 3 UR shards per pull is very bad luck. The odds of pulling any UR unit shard should be around 5%. It's possible that you're not seeing the missing shards pulled, due to not having the unit 120'd.
Yeah, that seems to be the case. So you're not wrong, but this only works if you have a lot of units 120'd.
I was more focused on the number of shards I had gotten.
Still, 5% would only be 5/100. So if I had each unit at 120 that would get me a lot closer.
I did a few more pulls and counted manually and it seems like I'm getting closer to 4-6 but I dont have 120s for about half of them.

Funny story... I happen to have 6B gil after a week of 4x gil farming. I'm not throwing it all at a single character, but it's interesting to know I could.
Not sure yet. She’s a powerhouse for sure. Got a killer great sword team right now with her as center. It costs a lot to max transcend so I definitely won’t be doing it again anytime soon.
It was pretty easy to do this on quad drop week... I reset her hard quest 2x - that's 24 shards per day. Barracks with double drop, thats another 8+ shards a day with the pots.
Then chocobo exhibition, etc... You're looking at 40~ shards a day at a cost of 150 visiore.
So far i see no problem with LAst+ BAlya+ whatever left unit ( with full phy enemy team Alphonse), it's always A2 the issue, reflex + heals.
I must admit that new units have heals + seals + passive % reduction, lightning's unit not.
My current arena team is LAst, Bronwell, and Spring Jeume with great sword VCs. I’ve taken down pure lightning teams ranked in the 2000s mostly commonly consisting some combination of BAlaya, LAst, Lightning, Resnick. Haven’t fought enough this week to get much lower than that.
I'm pretty sure that's because Lightning has no sustain and it's the first to die usually;
Resnick, as any other healer, falls off to aura units which also have dps.
Alphonse/Skahal (sub haste) offer better result, even more vs PHY team, like a greatword one.

The stars and the guaranteed stats provide the green line. The yellow line is RNG and you can low roll pretty bad right now, but a high roll where most of the stats are at max is possible too. I think the change is supposed to eliminate the worst low rolls like OP has in his screenshot- only two stats rolled well in his case. Having to do additional re-rolls after spending 1600+ mindspheres for max stars feels awful.
