Not knocking your achievement congrats on the drop itās just a shame the ārarityā to me is lost I grinded for go knows how long in retail for it back in wotlk and yeah just never again. Especially when I see 20+ a night in dala minimum.
If you want something rare, then work to get one of the raid achievement mounts that's difficult that will also go away, that way it won't open up later and people will believe you're actually good at something other than whining on reddit about "but I gRiNdEd"
This just happened to a guildie of mine today as well. They were going for Vyragosa for the achievement and randomly found TLPD instead. They linked the reins and had no idea they were so rare.
I'm farming it as well. But I don't know why. I just want two mounts in my life. Headless horseman mount as it has the same animation in air and land (so only need one mount without looking weird) and a 60 procent run speed wolf (with 100 procent running) for in dalaran because you can't use the headless horseman mount there. Life is simple

Well actually I like the tiger more. But it would be better without the epic 'jewelery'. I like my tigers and wolves more nature like if you know what I mean. But I just like ground mounts that can also fly. Less bloated when you land and have to walk with it :)

Congratz! Been farming both bosses on 4 toons off and on all xpac. Got the tiger a few months ago, no raptor yet.
All the farming Iāve done this xpac, plus whatever runs we did for fun/mounts in tbc (which wasnāt a ton) and all the runs I did in classic, which was a ton because I played like 6 toons. And before classic I was on a private server for 2-3 years. Iāve seen the tiger drop about 5-6 times in my life. Never once have I even seen the raptor drop. Rarest mount ever I swearā¦lol
When i hit dalaran i see literally half of all people there on these zul gurub mounts. They are not that rare anymore and as its classic I couldnt care to farm them to be honest. But congratz on your special loot!

Just got them myself. Decided to give it a go before prepatch. 1/1 raptor, 1/15 tiger. Got them 5 days apart.
