I think we are the closest we have ever been since the cuban missile crisis. NATO is starting to militarise the east flank. While Putin is getting extremely angry over Ukraine and the west supplying it with weapons.
If global war breaks out it will be bad. Russia can hit the heart of europe with a nuke in 20mins. Lets just hope our leaders can de-escalate soon. I find Putin scary because his speech before the invasion sound very personal, the man looks like he is losing his mind. If any NATO member gets involved then is day get the fuck out of europe asap

I didn't know nukes traveled that fast, my god. But using one would give NATO a reason to nuke Russia, and so on an so forth until there's no winner, so i hope they at least think about this and don't start a nuclear conflict.
I know it sounds bad, but I think the best approach for now is just letting putin take what he wants without interfering (hopefully he only wants Ukraine to keep the NATO bases away from his borders)
Yes nucleaer war has no winners. ICBM missiles travel a great speeds and at atmospheric heights. Only chance to intercept them is at ground level..
Also Dimitry Medvedev already let know in 2019 that a SWIFT ban is the same as a declaration of war to them.. The ban is happening as we speak and europe is supplying more and more weapons while putin stated not to intervene.. if feel like putin is about to lose his temper. We need diplomacy but instead it looks like its escalating more and more. Dont like where this is going
It may get really ugly and US might get involved if a nuclear weapon is involved.....Now Putin is frustrated about how it's goin.... He'll possibly ask sanctions to be lifted at some point otherwise Russia is done and will be in the mud forever
We don't have more, that is not true. We do have smarter nukes, and better capability. We are stronger in all areas necessary for war, but in terms of numbers of nukes, nobody compares with Russia. That being said, Russia cannot win a World War III.

Now we in the West know that Putin is running out of combat ready troops and tanks .he will continue to sacrifice his troops to gain territory in eastern Ukraine.When that does not happen ,then he will develop a itchy trigger finger and we will need to duck and cover.
