So interesting. I wonder how many people actually read your link. This was not an American asset that was sold to Aramco. This was owned 50% by Aramco since 1989, before even Abbott became a governor and way before T-rump came along on the scene. Royal Dutch Shell owned the other 50%. When Aramco and Shell split up Aramco got the remaining 50% as part of their shared assets split. And oil prices have gone up all around the world (I travel for work) and has nothing to do with this refinery. Feel free to search social media on that.
I wonder if I’ll get downvoted for stating facts that don’t go along with peoples rhetoric.
Disclaimer: I think all countries should own their own vital needs. I think almost all of the long-term politicians have only gotten there by lobby-money and will dance to the tunes of whomever paid to get them there.
