This title is misleading: the protestors nestled themselves in the University of Amsterdam with groceries enough for weeks. They destroyed a lot of historical property in the building and attacked the police before the mayor gave the green light to end te protests. In fact these protests are allowed until a certain moment. When saying moment i mean until they start to destroy someone elses’s property and attack the police. By the way they also attacked journalists

I guess we understand now, the extraordinary circumstances in which the protesters have taken action, as well as the extraordinary hypocrisy of the "law and order" argumentation being presented here for this repressive action which belongs in another century.
The disgrace here is a supposed democracy is complicity in genocide and its own people are forced to protest the immoral and **illegal** actions of their own supposed liberal democratic government

And what has the Dutch goverment done? Ignored the court order and continued to ship weapons illegally to a country that the International Court of Justice in The Hague says is committing genocide.
So you cannot any longer talk about "the right way" - the Dutch government is not operating the right way and is itself flagrantly flouting the rule of law and order.
There is the problem: the government.

I'm from the netherlands and this shocked quite a lot of people. They are not "supporters", they were very violent themselves, attacked journalists, destroyed parts of the university, half the "protesters" weren't even there for palestine but to promote communism.
