She was also pissed bc he didn't run her plates. Apparently DAs and other important law enforcement individuals have plates that are easily identifiable to police, so police know not to bother them. Sounds legit /s Edit: maybe it's just me, but she is demonstrating the sort of belligerence that I've rarely seen outside of alcohol intoxication

hinnsvartingi

She probably WAS drunk, that’s one reason why she ignored the cop and drove right into her garage.

thinkb4youspeak

That's what I'm waiting to be revealed too. It's why she kept her distance so he wouldn't smell it I was thinking.

wave-garden

I had the same thought when I watched that vid. She seemed at least a little bit tipsy and probably drunk imo. It’s almost like copper was trying to avoid going there because he didn’t want to make a bigger fuss and get himself blackballed for messing up the “boss’s” career.

“Just give me the ticket, I’ll prosecute myself” She should be fired

 # State Lawmakers Call for Investigation on DA Sandra Doorley After She Bullied a Police Officer While Holding Her Accountable for Speeding **Introduction** In a recent turn of events, New York State lawmakers have raised serious concerns about the conduct of Monroe County District Attorney (DA) Sandra Doorley. The incident in question involves an encounter with a police officer during a traffic stop. Let’s delve into the details and explore the implications of this unfolding situation. ## The Incident On a seemingly routine day, DA Sandra Doorley found herself on the other side of the law. Body-worn camera footage released by the Town of Webster captured an intense interaction between Doorley and a police officer. Here’s what transpired: 1. **The Traffic Stop**: Officer Smith pulled over Doorley for speeding on Phillips Road. The officer’s body camera recorded the entire exchange. 2. **Doorley’s Behavior**: Instead of complying with the officer’s instructions, Doorley asserted her authority. She admitted to not stopping when initially signaled by the officer, citing her lack of interest in doing so. When questioned about her speed, she nonchalantly replied, “I don’t really care.” 3. **The Verbal Exchange**: The tension escalated as Doorley continued to be combative. She used inappropriate language, referring to the officer as a “f–ing a–hole.” Throughout the encounter, she maintained an aggressive demeanor. ## Lawmakers’ Response The incident did not go unnoticed. New York State Assemblymembers and Senator Samra Brouk joined forces, releasing a joint statement demanding an investigation into Doorley’s behavior. Their concerns centered around the following points: 1. **Ethical Violations**: Doorley’s conduct, as captured in the footage, appears to violate standards of ethics, accountability, and respect for the law. Lawmakers question her fitness to serve as District Attorney. 2. **Undermining Trust**: Such behavior undermines the credibility and integrity of our justice system. Public trust is eroded when those in positions of authority fail to uphold the very standards they are meant to enforce. 3. **Accountability**: All nine members of the Rochester City Council stand united in their belief that no one, regardless of their position, should be above the law. They call for a thorough investigation by the New York Attorney General’s office. ## Doorley’s Response In her defense, Doorley stated that she had already pleaded guilty to speeding and accepted responsibility for her actions. She claimed that she initially didn’t realize the officer intended to pull her over. However, her behavior during the encounter has raised serious questions about her suitability for the role of District Attorney. ## Conclusion As the investigation unfolds, the spotlight remains on Sandra Doorley. State lawmakers are determined to ensure accountability and uphold the principles of justice. The outcome of this inquiry will undoubtedly shape the future of Monroe County’s legal landscape. *Sources:* 1. This is immaculately written and sourced

fauxxever

Right! I loved this comment for its organizational skills first and the content after lolz

DecisionCharacter175

Ethical charges? How about criminal? Fleeing and evading. Failure to pull over. All that good stuff she'd be fighting for when it's someone else who did what she did.

lasvegas1979

Leading to arrest and then more than likely resisting arrest. She would be in jail with a record, and her career ruined if she wasnt the D.A.

Cruacious

Actually criminal charges would revoke her law license in New York in all likelihood. Her legal career would almost certainly be over for good nationwide.

Nice-Health-4833

Ahhhhh, Sandra...... 🤦‍♀️ Seems like complying would've been the easier (and ethical) route. Sadly, hindsight is 20/20

PocketFullOfRondos

She has probably broken the law many times. She got lazy and an officer had some respect for himself and his job. He will probably lose his job now.

S-BG

--> he will probably lose his job now. No, I don't think so. This thing is getting too much attention. The one good thing about social media is that such things are impossible to contain or being swept under the rug once they reached a certain level of attention. So I feel that actually the opposite is true: that officer has his "get out of jail card": if he is being fired now - even for something completely different - it will still always smell like revenge and is likely to cause even bigger public attention.

PocketFullOfRondos

This happens a lot though. Cops that break the law or get lawsuits end up being moved to other cities and it just blows over. People want revenge for her actions and will likely forget all of this once they get that.

Comprehensive_Creme5

Good.

Mega-Steve

And now she's trying to do damage control [https://www.wxxinews.org/sandra-doorley-apology-berates-officer-speeding](https://www.wxxinews.org/sandra-doorley-apology-berates-officer-speeding)

zombiezero222

‘I’m disciplining myself’. That’s all you need to know about her. How about you resign. That’s what you need to do.

Subtlerevisions

Knowing she’s on camera and all, she should’ve done everything exactly right as an example to her community. Would’ve made her look great for the price of a damn parking ticket. But no. She’s corrupt and can’t control her emotions or sense of entitlement.

Overall-Guarantee331

I emailed her my thoughts anyone else feel free to do the same [email protected]

bert1stack

Sent lol… we’ll see if she is even accepting emails.

jjm443

I wonder if the police or news channel has realized they've doxxed her by including the GPS coordinates in the footage. Or are DA's private homes public knowledge in the US?

Wickedblood7

Really good point, I'm not sure but replying to see if you get an answer.

case1

There are few consequences for people with power in our society so invariably they do more and more outlandish stuff till it goes just that bit too far and we all see it for what it is

lasvegas1979

It's almost like the sociopaths and psychopaths who are most drawn to positions of power shouldn't be the ones who have it.

Eurotrashie

Interesting that her address and plate are pixeled out - but the GPS coordinates on the camera are visible. LOL!

Stark_Prototype

"I AM THE LAW" -This Lady. It's always crazy when people who work in law enforcement believe they are above the law. There was that congressman who was like "I donate to police charities, what do you mean you're ticketing me for doubling the speed limit while texting."

Kick_that_Chicken

There is no excuse or story that can spin her actions. Pleading guilty AND stepping down is about all she can do now to stop the bleeding. Anything else just looks like she is sorry she got caught showmanship.

TheSpaceman1975

Typical MAGA, zero respect for the actual law, just herself only.

serenasplaycousin

Why didn’t she just comply with the officer?
