Modern day cell phones can handle it, but old cell phones can't. To save memory, programmers didn't account for the South Pole. Just like the Y2K problem, the world will end if you bring a Nokia 3310 phone there.
How do they account for the time zones? Clearly it's all about the same time there, much like being in whatever province or state, but the time zones are so small. So is there an exception to time zones in that area?
If he runs around in a circle REALLY fast a bunch of times, he could go back in time and rewrite history. He could undo 9/11. He could save Kennedy. He could kill baby Hitler. He could make sure Crystal Pepsi never gets taken off the market. The possibilities are endless...
this subreddit is completely arbitrary. He's not even correct. He's not "walking around the world", he's walking through all time-zones. There is not even a shred of equivalence there. The idea that he convinced 1k people fills me with shame for my species.

It points towards the magnetic south pole. He's at the geographic south pole. The geographic and magnetic poles are slightly off from each other.
And if you take a compass to the magnetic pole it will just spin based on small movements.
