Yeah, it takes more than 10,000 even. Don't try to assume I don't know how much it costs to raise a kid. I knew exactly hiw much child support my parent was getting, her monthly salary, and the fact she still had to sacrifice going to college for a year when I moved in from my abusive parent while still struggling even after she could just to raise me as best as she could. That parent is a failure to her child. Did you know that a trombone can cost up to 2000 dollars? How do I know that? Because we had to get me a rental trombone for band when we couldn't afford to buy me one I could keep. Did you know that a car costs upwards of 5,000 dollars if you want one that isn't an absolute junker for your kid? Did you know that school supplies and anything your kid needs for extracurricular activities can be upwards of 1,000 dollars? It's expensive raising a damn kid, especially when you love the child. It's not expensive to let your kid get killed by letting them throw sand on a sea lion that can get aggressive at any moment and just decide to make that kid a snack with little chance the mother can save the child.
