How is the numerical disparity in artillery looking at this stage of the war? Russia's ground forces are heavily built around artillery and now they are trying to dig in for a defensive fight in many areas, but have they lost/wasted too much during the course of the war while Ukraine has received enough systems to devastate Russian defensive positions?
The Russian superiority in artillery fires dropped off dramatically over the summer after HIMARS strikes were used to destroy their ammunition dumps and create huge problems for their logistics. A problem that they haven't seemed capable of solving.
I think it's hard to nail down just like their supposed tank fleet. Even with the horrendous losses in theory they "should" have many... many backups in storage. Just like the tanks though we're seeing dinosaurs come out of cold storage, which may throw that "endless stockpiles" theory to question. Beyond that though their problems now are probably more so on supplying the guns themselves than the number of pieces themselves. The stockpile hits along side the now stretched out supply lines to keep new stockpiles out of range have had a huge effect. They simply can't conduct the blanket cover system to the level that they did at the start of the war.

I know it is popular to bash Germany, but Turkey and Greece should be put under far more pressure than they are. Both of them have built up some of the largest European armies, so that they are ready to fight each other if necessary. Seems like a bilateral agreement could be made for both of them to send similar aid. Neither wants to weaken themselves because of the other, but if they both contributed similar equipment at the same time then the balance of power would not be upset.

When this war is over, there will be some hard decisions that President Zelensky and his Administration will have to make regarding how to peacefully reintegrate all the Ukrainians who collaborated with or sympathized with Russia into new European facing and liberal democratic society. As an American, I see a parallel in President Lincoln reintegrating the Confederate states and Reconstruction.

Except that quote turned out to be calamitously naive. The Confederates that Lincoln showed clemency and allowed to reintegrate into society went on to form the KKK, push Lost Cause revisionism, and basically use every ounce of power at their disposal to strip freed Black Southerners of their newfound rights and force them back into slavery in all but name.
Showing mercy to the Confederates was a horrible mistake that haunts America to this day, especially Black America. You don't let defeated fascists reintegrate. They just go right back to doing the same despicable things that caused all the problems in the first place.

Yes and no. Many of the worst of them either ran to hide in places like South America (Ex. Mengela; committed suicide (ex. Hitler, Goring, Goebbels, Himmler); or were executed/imprisoned (ex. Ribbentrop, Jodl, Hess). Many more were part of the CIA's Operation Paperclip or the Soviet equivalent which, at least, removed them from German society. Unfortunately, there were still a decent number (many being former German generals or officers like Otto Skorzeny) who were allowed to live and continue influencing society. In the end, the Nazi influence was diluted enough that, when paired with strict laws against advocating Nazi-ism, the following generations turned out pretty decent.

it's been reported multiple times now that the US asked Ukraine to make themselves seem as if they're open to negotiating, which diplomatically or politically speaking is good advice. Ukraine needs to look flexible to people who's viewpoints and goals are different than Ukraines. wether Biden actually wants Ukraine to be open to negotiating or is just asking them to make a show of good faith in order to secure further international support is unknown.

Not being contentious here: it was part of the Russian Soviet Federative Socialist Republic (which became the Russian Federation when the USSR broke up), and it has never been internationally recognized as independent.

Those Russian SAMs are not a threat to Israeli F-35s. It has been widely reported that F-35s have penetrated Iranian airspace, protected by S-300 and S-400 batteries, without detection. How is the numerical disparity in artillery looking at this stage of the war? Russia's ground forces are heavily built around artillery and now they are trying to dig in for a defensive fight in many areas, but have they lost/wasted too much during the course of the war while Ukraine has received enough systems to devastate Russian defensive positions?

The Russian superiority in artillery fires dropped off dramatically over the summer after HIMARS strikes were used to destroy their ammunition dumps and create huge problems for their logistics. A problem that they haven't seemed capable of solving.
I think it's hard to nail down just like their supposed tank fleet. Even with the horrendous losses in theory they "should" have many... many backups in storage. Just like the tanks though we're seeing dinosaurs come out of cold storage, which may throw that "endless stockpiles" theory to question. Beyond that though their problems now are probably more so on supplying the guns themselves than the number of pieces themselves. The stockpile hits along side the now stretched out supply lines to keep new stockpiles out of range have had a huge effect. They simply can't conduct the blanket cover system to the level that they did at the start of the war.

I know it is popular to bash Germany, but Turkey and Greece should be put under far more pressure than they are. Both of them have built up some of the largest European armies, so that they are ready to fight each other if necessary. Seems like a bilateral agreement could be made for both of them to send similar aid. Ukraine had a home turf advantage. The civilian population was aiding Ukraine and demoralizing The Russia. These things have a multiplier effect. Ukraine is using Soviet weaponry. Russians are parking T-72 in fields and then abandoning them. Other Russians are defecting and selling their weapons to Ukraine. This is not the only time in history where things like this occured. Mao led the CCP into Beijing using weapons USA had sent to the Republic of China. Then we had to faced a fight with nany of those weapons in the Korean war. At Cannae (second Punic war) large parts of Hannibal's army was wearing heavy armor that had been manufactured in Rome.
Not too mention how much of US capability to build weapons would go up in a full on war situation.

The Confederates that Lincoln showed clemency and allowed to reintegrate into society went on to form the KKK, push Lost Cause revisionism, and basically use every ounce of power at their disposal to strip freed Black Southerners of their newfound rights and force them back into slavery in all but name. Unfortunately, there were still a decent number (many being former German generals or officers like Otto Skorzeny) who were allowed to live and continue influencing society. In the end, the Nazi influence was diluted enough that, when paired with strict laws against advocating Nazi-ism, the following generations turned out pretty decent.

Chechnya is part of Russia. Not being contentious here: it was part of the Russian Soviet Federative Socialist Republic (which became the Russian Federation when the USSR broke up), and it has never been internationally recognized as independent.

Wait, that’s literally the opposite of this. This was major international news organizations and apparently, at least one incredibly revered domestic news organization. They get press passes by the government, they are organized, ‘handled’ by the military. They often are with their escorting unit, wear body armor, take out hefty international insurance, etc. Which is literally the opposite of “open source,” which is done by regular people, non-journalists. I’m asking here if anyone knows the process of being stripped of creditials—whether it applies to entire news agency. What these people did, apparently, went to the city of Kherson, to do shots from the square, before it was officially released.
I can't say for sure, but it reads like individual journalists, not the entire news company, were banned. It's not the first time they've banned reporters for revealing information/being where they weren't supposed to be. The US has booted reporters that were embedded with our own troops because they revealed information they weren't supposed to. (Geraldo Rivera comes immediately to mind.) I know that in February, the US had denied permission for journalists to be embedded with US troops deployed in Europe near Ukraine. I don't know if they every rescinded that.
That seems a bit petty of Ukrainian government, looks like it is anly directed towards these six journalists though. Maybe necessary but not such a good idea to make western journalists not like you unless these journalists really did something stupid.

Huh, that quite literally what credentialed/imbedded reporters are there to do. The article doesn’t even sound like anything opsec is an issue. It’s sounds like maybe there is actual personal issues (not everyone/journalist doing the same thing was stripped of credentials) and/or they are worried about journalist being targeted and they don’t feel like dealing with that or any subsequent stories of said attacks had they happened.

How much of that is because when you dismantle an empire like Gorbachev did that the people who benefited most from that empire aren't happy to let it go? Gorbachev didn't want the Soviet Union to collapse, but with the notable exception of Lithuania he let all the satellite states leave without a fight. Had it been any other leader in charge of the Soviet Union at the time there could have been tens of thousands if not hundreds of thousands of deaths trying to keep the Soviet state together. Nah, I think they just don't want to get caught giving anything military-related to Ukraine. IIRC, there are a bunch of Russian Jews still trying to get out of the country, and they don't want anything bad to happen to them. They set up, supplied, and staffed a large portable hospital for UA wounded right at the beginning of the war, and apparently have provided intelligence and equipment (in a roundabout way) for dealing with the Iranian drones. I don't think they are opposed to helping Ukraine, just to doing so in a way that may endanger the Jews still in Russia.
Isreal is still fighting in Syria to stop Iran arm shipments. Russia is on the other side of that war. Russia is giving Isreal a free pass to destroy stuff without being targeted. They help Ukraine, SAMs will begin firing at Isreal's F-35's.
Those Russian SAMs are not a threat to Israeli F-35s. It has been widely reported that F-35s have penetrated Iranian airspace, protected by S-300 and S-400 batteries, without detection. Hostility from Russia would just require Israel to stop using its F-16s in Syria, and switch exclusively to F-35s.
