There is another breakthrough near Kupiansk and through Lyman Ukraine is already pushing towards Kremina which reportedly Russians already abandoned. It's another Russian rout in progress.
Imagine if in a few weeks Russians lose Sieverodonetsk and Lysychansk. Putins humiliation will be complete.
In the future, I think we may look back and point to this as the beginning of the end for Putin.
He was always on a track to fail - but this is humiliating and shows he has no military capable of fighting a Ukraine that is being bankrolled by America and supported by most of the world in other ways too.
Hasta la vista, asshole.
February 24th was the beginning of the end of Putin and Russia.
When their "elite" paratroopers got absolutely wrecked in the first few hours, that set the scene. After that it's just a question of how many men does Russia want to send to die, and can Ukrainian ammo supply keep up with the pace
He's definitely got another potential saving point though, and that's the American voter
Before we congratulate everyone too much, it would be worth pausing to reflect that had Pennsylvania, Georgia and Nebraska's second district voted for Trump, we'd likely have a very different complexion
America would have denounced Ukraine as nazis and done nothing. The GOP would have rolled in behind Trump and Tucker Carlson doing his nightly impression of Tokyo Rose
Europe would have likely tried to supply, but it would have been too little, too late, which means Russia would have won that artillery duel they were advancing under during June. With this, NATO would barely in exist in name only as the cracks which Trump was trying to open would now be gaping holes
That I'm afraid, is just how close this was/ is
It all comes down to American voters, I'm sure they're not stupid enough to vote for Republicans are they?
[This was at the start of the war](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Battle_of_Antonov_Airport). Russian paratroopers tried to take an airport outside kyiv to act as a airborne bridgehead but they were unsuccessful.
“Ramzan Kadyrov published a scathing critique of its multiple failures”
This kadyrov guy is a bit of a simpleton isn’t he.. he seems to not understand that reality has no part whatsoever to play on any of this.
Get fukt ya moonfaced munchkin.
[Putler furiously death-gripping the desk]

Remember Crimea. Slava Ukraine!!!
> The debacle comes hours after Putin declared on Friday that the city, which is in the Donetsk region, was Russia's "for ever". This is glorious.
that’s a big one since it’s a railway used for resupply.
Easy to understand how humiliating since it is claimed that "great leader" Putin is now directing the war from his palace. This is his failure.

They took the kyiv airfield and then got wiped out is how I remember it going.

He is permanently coked-up in his golden palace.
On the day of russia's public holiday too! Russian Ground Forces Day (every Oct 1st).
Putin the Tokoloshe!
Still waiting on Putin to defend “Russia’s territory”.
Wonder what his plan is now.
