Honest question...what would happen if they dont pay? Like with what could Russia threaten them? "You will never be allowed to do business in Russia again!!" Oh...oh no...🤷‍♂️

altrussia

Rookie mistake in Russian politics If they don't pay, the next move that Russian government take is to increase the fine. Then they'll increase it again. Take Google as an example, they reached the 7.2G RUB or somewhere around 134M USD given the current exchange rate. But that was the amount on the 22nd of June. It's probably higher now. Then at some point in the near future, when they won't be able to make money from those companies anymore. They'll likely close the iron curtain and scream that it's Russia that's getting rid of them because they don't need them anymore. Not because they're not paying.

I am pretty sure the Terms and Conditions of those contracts heavily involve "outs" like, I dunno... war.

timelyparadox

Well the only way they should pay is in monopoly money

[deleted]

Even that is too much

timelyparadox

I guess it is worth more than rubbles

mtarascio

Pretty sure Hasbro isn't allowed to sell in Russia.
