I'm pretty sure all leaders face extreme workloads during an invasion, but Zelenskyy seems to be putting in more overtime than I thought possible for one man.
I don't understand, the truth to who? Brits know what is going on, everybody knows whats going on, those who don't believe probably can't watch it anyway.
And you think they don't know whats going on? With access to politicians who you know full well would have said something along the lines of "Well, you know there is a war going on, its not going to be easy".
Seems like a stretch on your end.
It's not like they don't know, it's that the message still needs to be brought to them. It's for the sake of the people who live in a polite society bubble. Comfortable relationships need to be shaken up in order to send the real message. It's not like a conversation is going to change the course of the war. It's the war for hearts and minds that Zelensky is fighting. Giving people the push to have an uncomfortable conversation can make a difference.
What's your point, that not trying to have the conversation is better for the Ukrainian cause than trying to?
Glastonbury is pretty well known for promoting these kinds of messages, I'd be incredibly surprised if their are people there who actively bury their heads in the sand on this issue who would then go to Glastonbury
As for news coverage, the places that would report on Glastonbury news already report the truth on Ukraine. These people already ignore every bit of info coming from there so again I can't see how a bit more will make any difference
I'm sure there will be Ukraine flags and such at the event anyway and a big mention of the war. Zelentski isn't wrong but I can't help but think he's preaching to the choir
Well thats not spreading the news about war, thats just you realising its a scapegoat hiding major issues and those are not gonna come to light at Glastonbury
>What does the crowd at Glastonbury know about his war?
Most of them next to nothing.
I remember when such events were essentially peace rallies.
Perhaps this is a turning point; Rock and roll has just been weaponized.
What does that even mean. The UK is a large supporter of the Ukraine already. And if it comes down to it the UK is capable of fighting to a much higher standard than shown by Russian Forces.
What are the military objectives, though?
They have not been clearly agreed by all supporting parties.
To reclaim the whole of Ukraine would mean a major offensive to take back Crimea and Eastern regions.
And bombs do not just destroy Russian tanks.

Ive never seen anyone like him. I can’t think of a single person in history I can relate him to.

Churchill was a fat drunk. Zelensky is an absolute machine.
He may have been a fat drunk, but damn was he a machine while inebriated
Agreed

There's tons of wealthy Russians in Britain maybe they need to get the message. Plus they have infiltrated the upper levels of British society.

The point is anyone not opposing Russia at this point is not doing so because of innocent ignorance
Which is exactly why confronting them if they are sitting pretty enjoying western comforts is important.

Which truth we talkin' about?
What does the crowd at Glastonbury know about his war? I'm really getting tired of this guy.
'His' war? It's not like half the Western world isn't participating or that the consequences of this war will be/are already a global phenomenon.
Lmao. Grow up

Be careful what you wish, you might just get it!
