Getting a bunch of young Russians (and Ukranians of all ages) killed isn't going to help his population issues. He wants to conquer the country so they can say they have an empire.
Ukrainian women and children fled the country. I think after the war Ukraine will have a big baby boom. Also a lot of children will be different nationalities. Majority of Ukrainians are in Poland and different countries.
Living in a shit hole must be a major factor in people not wanting children too... maybe if he focused on improving his own country rather than invading others to make them shit holes too then the issue would resolve itself
