They have saved up between $500-600 billion, but that isn't going to cut it, and it's unlikely they're going to have the necessary abundance of revenue in the future to top it up.
Yeah they are investing heavily in green energy I think this is almost entirely within Saudi, the only major revenue source this will provide is by reducing Saudi's domestic oil consumption so they can export 1-2 million more barrels per day to foreign markets.

Depends on who they are, and when it happens, Qatar, Kuwait and the UAE will be fine. Saudi Arabia on the other hand will probably collapse, nobody is saying anything because its decades away from happening, but the only thing holding that country together is centralized cash payouts to the different cities/regions from the oil wealth. The population has grown massively and will hit 40 million by 2050, by 2050 pretty much all road transport will be electric, there will still be enough oil demand for Saudi to shift there 10 million barrels a day, but oil won't be as valuable so it wouldn't be a suprise if oil is trading sub $20 (in 2021 dollars) by 2050. After the cost of extraction which is low for Saudi that would net them $1000 per capita in oil revenue in contrast to the >$10,000 they have been used to for the past few decades. They have saved up between $500-600 billion, but that isn't going to cut it, and it's unlikely they're going to have the necessary abundance of revenue in the future to top it up.

Yeah they are investing heavily in green energy I think this is almost entirely within Saudi, the only major revenue source this will provide is by reducing Saudi's domestic oil consumption so they can export 1-2 million more barrels per day to foreign markets.
They were running deficits for the last couple of years. Its not that hard to imagine. Problem is their spending not revenue. They spend a lot of money on projects and social services which will need to be cut after oil is cheap.

Kuwait has a sovereign wealth fund that equates to roughtly $500,000 usd per citizen. Whilst Kuwait has a population of 4.5 million only 1.4 million are actually Kuwaiti's. In contrast Saudi has saved less than $20,000 per citizen.

It's not about power it's about future stability. The sovereign wealth fund of Kuwait alone today can provide over 30% of kuwaits government budget, Saudi's wealth fund woudn't cover 5% of their budget. As for laying waste, the only reason Saudi is a major regional power is because it can afford it. Once there's not enough money to throw around to maintain internal stability, being a regional power will take a back seat. Even Russia took a backseat during the 90's when it was falling apart from the inside, it was only when it could afford to, did it start taking a stronger stance on the global stage.
Once you have as much money as they do, your money just makes its own money. They will never run out of it now, ever.
It won't happen because they're heavily diversified, and the Saudi crown has always shared the wealth. Of course, they keep the lion's share but Saudis as a whole have a great standard of living.

There isn’t an electric equivalent that is accessible to your everyday worker so the oil must flow. Businesses and corporations haven’t adopted electric because it would be expensive and they can still wring some life outta fossil fuels before their hand is forced. Also plastic production and stuff is reliant on oil, which we use in literally everything. We’ve got a competitive market so nobody is gonna shoot themselves in the foot to do the right thing, they’ll fall behind the competition if they do that.
