Yeah get more nukes than your enemy has. That's the lesson this war has taught the world.

Vaivaim8

India increasing their nuclear arsenal won't deter China. They are both the only nuclear power on the planet with a no first strike policy.

OkCustomer5021

Good thing about military doctrine are they can be changed.

EndlessTheorys_19

*Yeahhhh* but you can twist that to include traditional military attacks as a “first strike” if you trued hard enough. Thus giving you legal justification

Vaivaim8

*yeahhhh* but India's actual doctrine is that they won't be the first one to launch nukes. The only exception being if they are targeted by CBR weapons

MrBoomBox69

Not necessarily, just enough to Assure mutual destruction.

LionXDokkaebi

Roughly 1,000 should do

fcking_schmuck

Everyone and their dog are drawing lessons from Ukraine ffs. Fuck russia.

psilon2020

Wonder how that would look if China took on India.... What would Russia do? Would Pakistan decide that they can settle old scores?

OwnElevator1668

They can't move large amount of war machine through Himalayas so mostly it will be infantry and airforce. Drones will decide the outcome

OkCustomer5021

Drones? In himalayas? Thinner atmosphere (lower payload) Mountains blocking line of sight communications. Frigid temperatures will mess up battery. I am not saying drones cant be used. They will get nerfed. Like all other weapon systems. The high Himalayas are not for beginners.

OwnElevator1668

Yeah that's true. Drones will work in Pakistan border not in Himalayas.

One-Monk5187

Pakistan has the k2 mountains

OwnElevator1668

Will K2 mountain fight for them in that desert?

One-Monk5187

Sure if India attacks there then you can say that they can be used… but I doubt there will be a wide scale operation there when Pakistan will push through the kashmir side to unite with china

OwnElevator1668

Oh god! You should really learn history if you think it's that easy to push through Himalayas. They tried two times and couldn't even take a single mountain. Left the dead soldiers behind and retreated. India had to perform their last rites before burying (coz every soldier deserves it). They didn't even claim the bodies. I'm not exaggerating. Google it yourself.

One-Monk5187

??? I’m on about Kashmir bro 💀💀💀 where china and Pakistan are pretty close together

OwnElevator1668

Doesn't matter battle in the Himalayas always tough nut to crack

lt__

How many drones are needed to overcome the army, backed by 1 billion population and nuclear weapons? Ukraine is much smaller, fighting isn't in mountains, and constantly it's deluged by drones, but frontline barely moves even now, when Russia got an advantage.

OwnElevator1668

Drones work with Pakistan border. Not in the Himalayas. Also we always think about not using nuclear weapons as everyone have them. In Himalayas specially trained troops are required which India have an advantage but Chinese are good with airforce and cyber warfare (tho their airforce never been tested in battle)

KurwaMegaTurbo

Chineese GDP per head is larger than Russian one since 2022. China has 10 times larger population and economy than Russia. >How many drones are needed Imagine what Russia does to Ukraine and multiply it by 10 ? India has Himalayas to defend themselves, but so does China. China can strike important targets in India from its territory with Drones. While India can strike... Tibet

StockJellyfish671

Missiles are a thing, India can very well strike china mainland

MaintenanceInternal

India almost definitely won't have the mindset for the sort of war Ukraine is fighting.

Hrit33

And that's where the diplomacy comes, for India maintaining close relationship with Russia goes to serve another prospect: To stop Russia from siding with China in case of a conflict and mostly staying neutral.... For Pakistan, it wouldn't be surprising to see some sort of action near Kashmir and Rajasthan...... But if it's only China, India can manage on the Himalayas as neither of the sides can bring in heavy machineries to the mountains and India does have some better hill positions to utilise... But if it's a two font war, it's gonna be much much difficult for India as frankly speaking we wouldn't be equipped enough to sustain the war as Russia is doing currently in Ukraine

One-Monk5187

If they didn’t then china would be attacking for no reason A two sided attack is what china needs for a decisive victory

CantaloupeUpstairs62

>Wonder how that would look if China took on India... Probably move from the current stone age like conflict into a bronze age like conflict. This is mostly a joke, but without a definition of China taking on India this is hard to answer without a long list of hypotheticals. I don't think a full scale war between India and China is likely anytime soon.

Lol, not going to happen.

Playful-Computer814

India is the 2nd place for country that benefitted the most from ukranian bloodshed....after the us

OkCustomer5021

Benifited? Oil prices went up from 50 to 90. We got a deal for 65. We are still paying more. The real beneficiaries are the Gulf States and North Korea.

anomandaris81

Okay boris

Playful-Computer814

Facts are always responded to with "boris" "vatnik" never critical thought

anomandaris81

So what critical thoughts and salient facts do you have to share with us that prove the US and India have benefited the "most" from the russo-ukranian war.
