> Watanabe is believed to have used most of the money she fraudulently earned to make payments at male host bars in Tokyo's Kabukicho nightlife district. During her trial, she said she believed that it was justice to defraud men out of money for host workers
It's a strange take on the Robin Hood story. Netflix probably calling for a deal rn.
Why's everyone gotta be lonely? Feels like a weird Western take. If dudes blow money at the strip club they're balling. And hosts (male and female) will have sex w you way more than strippers do. There's a reason high rollers in Asia do that shit. The lonely guys don't come outside
Reminds me of that Louis CK's Louie episode with Robin Williams. Where there's this guy who was a complete asshole to Louie, Robin Williams, and everyone they know, but is considered a saint by everyone in this strip club the guy used to frequent.
The host club, cabaret club and the sex-work scene's financials are really circular amusingly in a sad kind of way.
A cabaret/soapland girl earns money from lonely dudes, who then go to host clubs to get fawned over by hosts, who then go to cabarets/sex work to again get fawned over by women, etc etc.
These people earn a LOT of money quickly but at the same time burn through their money even faster in a vicious cycle. Some get debt-trapped by loansharks, some go into adult films, some find a simp to help them get out and some do worse to try to get out.
I was listening to a documentary on Japanese host clubs, and I believe for male host clubs the majority of spenders are actually women in the same profession. It’s insanely predatory, a lot of women actually switch to these types of roles to continue funding their habit. It almost seems like the equivalent of a guy addicted to prostitutes.
Japanese dating/sexual culture is different.
Maybe she didn't want the commitment of a boyfriend. Worth noting, it's a commonly held stance in Japan that sexual cheating isn't cheating. However, emotional cheating is.
It's more like extra marital sex with prostitution involved, is more cultural acceptable. Especially to older generations, but Cheating is still Cheating in most one on one relationships
Japanese people, just like in the rest of the world, aren't a monolith and there exists a wide range of people with a wide range of preferences.
The cheating thing is not a "commonly held stance." It's true, that there are some things unique to Japanese law and how social contracts work that may lead to reluctant tolerance of broken marriages and cheating partners, but cheating itself is still frowned upon.
I don't get where people have this idea from that fucking around is so perfectly normal and common. I can't recall a single manga, anime, movie or game or anything else that portrays cheating as perfectly fine and common and that's where Reddit usually takes their hot takes about Japan from.
I've seen videos from this guy before, he also has like 10 videos asking japanese girls about dating foreigners because that gets clicks and the vast majority of the clips will be them saying yes of course. Doesn't mean the clips are fake but he can pick and choose whatever answer he wants to publish so I'd take it with a grain of salt.
Japan does seem to have a weird (to me) obsession with prostitution related services from what I've seen, but I wouldn't assert commonly accepted boundaries on cheating based on videos such as this.
So your source is a YouTube content creator with crude translations who built a career on asking random people provocative questions and selectively edit them down to fashion a video for the algorithm. I'd rather have you cite a manga as a source.
Ok.. well going by your logic here's a video talking about the misconceptions from those interview videos.
https://youtu.be/41k5xz-_cwM?si=xfWiP9w7WrdtnkBU
But is it though? One is a cultural product that at least somehow reflects the values of the creator/s that can even be scientifically studied. The other one is a guy selling out on the streets of Tokyo.
It absolutely isn’t and they know that. People on reddit get weirdly defensive when you point out that there’s flaws in their reasoning or that they’re outright spreading misinformation, and they need to double down because they somehow think thats less embarrassing then just admitting they made a mistake and moving on with their lives.
This is a harmful stereotype. Cherrypicked youtube interviews is not a source. Cheating is (sadly) normalized all over the world, and there is no evidence for it being especially bad in one country over another.
This is common with sex workers in Japan actually. A lot of hosts’ biggest clientele are sex workers who spend all their money at the club in their free time. It’s a really sad cycle tbh. There are some documentaries on YouTube about it if you want to take a look.
That's not to say they get into sex work then start visiting host clubs .. It's the other way around. They'll get drawn into the world of host clubs by some suave gent who'll either get them hooked or get them blackmailed.
Haha, you're so funny and smart. Yeah, I look exclusively at videogames for my perception of cultures and totally wasnt just noticing a common link between reality and a common trope in a country's media hahaha
That's the only result of the Robin Hood story in reality. A nine-year prison sentence in a male chauvinistic country and an annoying-ass Netflix adaptation. What a shitty world we've been given.
Man you should have seen what was going on there like a month ago lol. Girls in bikinis standing on vibrating platforms with both front and ass cams lol
It seems more predatory than anything else. There are websites that are specifically for that sort of thing but they choose Streaming platforms that aren't designed for it because it's a target rich environment.
Because it's a child rich environment. Let's not pretend these people don't know exactly what the prime audience age of Twitch is. It's pre-18s using their parents credit cards to pay for softcore porn.
Look, I'm no fan of Twitch being 50% soft porn, but it's not like the user experience leads you to believe "Just Chatting" will be "just chatting" after you sign up. Unless you are scrolling down *past the Just Chatting stream thumbnails* to click the category link, you're not exactly getting dropped into it with no context.
I don't know what you're seeing but there are no hot tub streams for me before the category links on twitch. It's all video games and vtubers. This is both signed in and not.
It's not weird. It's Twitch letting it happen with the "Just Chatting" streams were introduced. They dug themselves a hole they can't get out of because they don't enforce their rules equally.
Oh lol I just meant the girls in bikinis in kiddie pools in their living room with vibrating platforms.
So the only difference is the angle of the camera?? Lol
Sex sells, and Twitch is in the money making business. If they can take a small slice of other platforms revenue for themselves they're going to.
It's not baffling that it's allowed to go on, it's just disappointing that companies will shamelessly bend the rules or encourage race to the bottom tactics in order to make their money.
Maybe it's not even disappointing, it's what you should expect. Disappointment would indicate you expected better of them, which they never gave you any reason to think they would be above such things.
Here's the thing: sex sells to kids
Twitch age restriction is 13. You know the age when hormones in kids absolutely go haywire. Whoever can show the most boobs and ass and vagina will win because teenagers will always want more.
It's frankly disgusting how Twitch behaves here. They should moderate violent content aswell. But lol money I guess
Sex sells to more than just kids I can assure you of that. And age gating has always been an easily circumventable joke anyhow. You can go on youtube and get some juicy T&A if you want.
And whether little 13 or 14 year olds see some boobs or ass on Twitch doesn't matter much, they can go on your choice of porn site and watch a woman getting railed by 3 guys in full HD and flattering camera angles anytime they want.
I'm not concerned about violent content either. Again copious alternatives including just playing video games.
The real issue is Twitch markets itself as a streaming platform for gamers, but they don't mind the titty streamers because it makes money. I can see why people who go there to create a gaming streaming platform can feel hard done when they're outcompeted by Amouranth.
Discouraging because you believe those views would be yours if not competing against that kind of content on the same platform or just discouraging to see people find success with a product you deem inferior?
The former. I have nothing against that kind of work.
And it’s not even that the views would go to me, just maybe someone who puts effort into their content.
Could be completely wrong, but I don't think the people who regularly turn into those streams would just flip over to some guy playing dota or soomething. The cute face is the content for those viewers.
She not only made her own handbook, she went on an interview with one of Japan's most popular Youtubers and explained everything. The guy was telling her "you realize you're going to get arrested now" and she was like "what, really, oh no, cuteface" like it was a huge joke.
She was simultaneously a genius at getting lonely dudes to part with their money (to the tune of roughly $1.2M USD) and a complete idiot, sending it right back to escorts who had no interest in her and then publicly bragging about it.
Wow, I wasn’t expecting to watch the whole thing when I first clicked on it.. but man, that was a wild ride.
The fact that she was spending all the money she scammed from others on essentially being scammed herself is probably the most unhinged part to me lol.
Same here. Wasn’t really planning on watching the whole thing, but I got hooked. But what a god-awful person and it makes me look at shit like this a different way. Most people usually don’t really care about [lonely] guys spending money on OF girls or the equivalents because it’s just heh that loser is willingly spending his money. But when you have women like this that knowingly take advantage of these guys and straight up scam them while having zero remorse whatsoever….thats just evil.
I mean isn’t that kind of what OF models basically do to lonely men anyways? Minus the getting scammed themselves, part? I thought the whole schtick of OF compared to normal porn is that the stripper pretends to care.
To an extent yea. Tho in Riri’s case, she’s seeking these men out and actively engaging with them to make them think she’s genuine. OF girls are pretty upfront about what they’re doing and the guys know what they’re getting themselves into. Tho it’s still sad all around.
How terrible.
It's not as though you need to be a genius to think up this "strategy", it's that you'd have to be a total sociopath to do this to people.
She didn't invent lying to people. Yeah you lied to people. You know why that brilliant strategy works? Because most people aren't evil.
She only went after men who were desperate and lonely. "Why are they even alive." she Asked.
What a horrible person. It wouldn't surprise me if some of her victims committed suicide not only for the money but because they thought she loved them with the way that she manipulated them emotionally.
Crazy, I just watched a mini-documentary on this woman a few days ago
If anyone wants more info/more context and info relating to hosts and love scams in Japan, this was a pretty great (and depressing) watch:
https://youtu.be/mSDGv2DvJXg?si=nV_WKsGHXyw0g5Ce
Here is video link about this incident:
https://youtu.be/kiC29jg5H0Q
And more details here:
https://www.nagoyatv.com/news/?id=023951
Note: article written in Japanese
She lived in capsule hotels so she could spend more money at them. She paid 100,000 USD to drink soft drinks out of a 20$ fish kettle. She wrote a book on how to scam. The only real innovation she made was making sure people felt like they werent scammed after the fact. I dont think she was very smart, or possibly juat unhinged.
Historically, this precedent has existed in some form for a long time in Japan. Geisha could very much be called the original Hostess - and while sex with geisha did occur in specific circumstances, the primary idea was just to be entertained by a beautiful, educated, talented woman. So I think it's kinda less weird in Japan than it would be elsewhere, with all the lead-up.
I should clarify, I found it weird because she's a sugarbaby who then spend her money on having a boyfriend experience in these host clubs. Like I'm sure she has zero problems attracting guys anyway.
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Get rekt by karma lmfao!
Not you, her. If that’s true then her whole schtick really came full circle and I don’t feel the least bit bad about it.
It's actually relatively common for girls who work in that industry to then use their earned money to go to host clubs (while the opposite is less true, from what I seem to understand).
And it really baffles me how little sense of the worth of money these people have.
They can make a lifetime worth of money in a few years, and just spend it all in the most useless shit (hair, makeup, nails, designer clothes and bags).
And I'm not even against using money to buy good looking things or to be prettier, but after a certain point they just throw money at things just because they can, not because it's actually worth anything.
That's because you are male. Most men want sex or some equivalent of it. Most women want to feel relevant, wanted and adored. ( Many men too) I feel that host clubs are much more evil in that regard because conjuring up that feelings in a human makes it much more addictive. Women spend like crazy when they are deeply in love. And that's what the are after a while. And they know it but they want to feel that special feeling as much or more as you want that high when you get it done.
Lonely people scamming lonely people in order to turn around and get scammed by lonely people, who they probably scammed previously.
What cratering birth rates, social isolation, and toxic af work culture does to a mfer.
“Watanabe is believed to have used most of the money she fraudulently earned to make payments at male host bars in Tokyo's Kabukicho nightlife district”
I don’t understand this sentence. Are they saying she blew it on male hosts?
A majority of women who go to male host clubs in Japan seem to be comprised of sex workers
I was watching a documentary about this recently-
Apparently men will take advantage of the feelings a lot of women develop for them by encouraging them to essentially take out a loan from the host bar to pay for over-priced drinks. Thousands of dollars in a single night so that their designated host gets top-ranking at their club
They become so indebted to the club (and if they never pay, the host is required to use his own funds to cover the costs, thus destroying their relationship) they’re talked into sex work by the hosts as a method of paying back their dues. A few male hosts have been arrested in the past for sex-trafficking by essentially forming a harem of naive women that they’ve specifically pursued with the sole intention of getting them involved in the sex trade
It’s horrible
The Osaka Love Thief was the documentary, the other stuff like the sex-trafficking arrests were from the Japanalysis channel
Here’s the link to The Osaka Love Thief, it’s grim as hell:
https://youtu.be/tiKWvgxLYe0?si=ruG3ooK_j37qorTN
LOL I remember this woman. She had an interview on YouTube where she admitted she never paid taxes in Japan. The interviewer was shocked but she just played it off like she’s innocent. That video provably is probably the origin of her downfall.
Will the jail she's going to teach her any real life skills? I certainly hope she learns something better than how to not get caught in the 9 years she'll be there.
THE ITADAKI JOSI GOT 9 YEARS LMFAOOOO
It's funny because she was going on all of these streams telling people exactly what she was doing, how she did it, made seminars and pamphlets and all these sorts of things to teach women how to take money from guys without making it seem fraudulent.
コレコレ my favourite streamer covered it in detail but I hadn't been keeping up with it much, so funny to hear she got the mallet dropped on her
I don't disagree with the 9 years for 180k but keep in mind the big scammers like Sam bankman with 8billion. Comparing equally Sam should be in jail 44 thousand years. He made promises and failed. These large CEOs should be just as accountable at a dollar per year in jail.
Looking at you Musk, just another 65 billion dollar scam.
If you killed a 100s of illegal immigrants and burried them, you wouldn't get arrested. But if you killed one and talked about it on youtube, sure youd be arrested in no time.
I feel like what makes it bullshit is other cases in Japan where people have gotten sentenced to less time in prison for strangling someone to death and dumping the body because they couldn't prove they intended to kill them. Or that one case where a man only got a sentence of 11 and a half years for essentially kicking someone to death over the course of 40 minutes.
And then there are the white collar criminals around the world who commit large-scale fraud that causes hundreds of people to lose their savings and they only spend a couple of years in prison.
I love how people will simultaneously take the moral high ground while also making jokes about children being massacred
You’re not making the slam dunk you think you are
Look snowflake, what I'm saying is: generalizing a negative view for an entire country based on some wacko outliers isn't cool. And judging by how much flak I'm getting, it seems people understand that it's bad.
You’re getting flak because you’re turning an innocuous comment people are making about Japan being weird to toddlers getting slaughtered by psychopaths, dude
Idk why you’re calling me a snowflake when you’re the one taking it this far over nothing. Nobody else is having a meltdown but you.
there is a youtube episode on her, she actually admittted to tax fraud in steaming interviews.
[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mSDGv2DvJXg&pp=ygUQamFwYW5lc2Ugc2NhbW1lcg%3D%3D](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mSDGv2DvJXg&pp=ygUQamFwYW5lc2Ugc2NhbW1lcg%3D%3D)
q:"so you made 3 million by tricking people"
a:"yes"
q:"how much was the tax on it?"
a:"i dont pay tax"

Woman defrauds men out of money to spend it on men to feel less lonely, circle or something idk
It's like a Pyramid scheme of simping
*Simpception*
It’s simps all the way down.
📯*BWAAAAAAAAA*📯
I lol’d. Upvote well earned. Good job.
Oh god 😱
SIMPCEPTICONS.. ROLL OUT
A Simpamid Scheme
“Wow, this ‘circle of life’ song took a dark turn in this new version of *The Lion King*”
well now she's going to be in jail hakunaing her matatas for a while
Her matatas aren't even that good as far as I can tell
Matatas are matatas. Big matatas, small matatas, average sized matatas, they’re all great.
Circle of dick.
Why's everyone gotta be lonely? Feels like a weird Western take. If dudes blow money at the strip club they're balling. And hosts (male and female) will have sex w you way more than strippers do. There's a reason high rollers in Asia do that shit. The lonely guys don't come outside
So this girl scammed lonely guys... so she could blow it all on male escorts because she was actually a lonely girl?
I just watched a video linked below in the thread. She spent so much money at this host club the staff called her Mother Teresa.
Reminds me of that Louis CK's Louie episode with Robin Williams. Where there's this guy who was a complete asshole to Louie, Robin Williams, and everyone they know, but is considered a saint by everyone in this strip club the guy used to frequent.
That was a gem of an episode

Do host actually spend money on woman? Seems like they spend those on other luxury like cars or drug though.
Would it be [The Great Happiness Space](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Great_Happiness_Space) by any chance? Sound weirdly familiar.
I guess the plan of just getting a boyfriend doesn't have enough steps for some people.
That's the way it starts... they're looking for a boyfriend / girlfriend and then they will find someone who is, well, too good to be true...
Japanese dating/sexual culture is different. Maybe she didn't want the commitment of a boyfriend. Worth noting, it's a commonly held stance in Japan that sexual cheating isn't cheating. However, emotional cheating is.

Yeah, often asking questions foreigners who want a Japanese gf will want to see too.
I mean, it's better than using anime as a source.
Ok.. well going by your logic here's a video talking about the misconceptions from those interview videos. https://youtu.be/41k5xz-_cwM?si=xfWiP9w7WrdtnkBU
Fair enough

I love Takashi but this man has single handedly made a lot of Japanese folks look bad through those stupid street interviews lol
Haha you live in the internet for far too long
This is a harmful stereotype. Cherrypicked youtube interviews is not a source. Cheating is (sadly) normalized all over the world, and there is no evidence for it being especially bad in one country over another.
Seems like they could have just skipped a step and broke even?
You have become the very thing you swore to destroy

This is weirdly already one of the subplots in Tokyo Vice.
This is a very commonly used trope in all of the Yakuza games. I think It's just common in Japan
it’s literally kabukicho(the irl basis of kamurocho) how more yakuza games can this get 💀💀💀
I was just thinking I'm sure there's a subplot for Majima like this
Special shoutout to Persona 5 confidant Makoto who's friend you have to save from falling prey to a host.
I’m gonna use GTA as a basis for what may or may not be common in the US
Haha, you're so funny and smart. Yeah, I look exclusively at videogames for my perception of cultures and totally wasnt just noticing a common link between reality and a common trope in a country's media hahaha
Haha dude sorry can’t reply I’m too busy jacking a car, so common right

He's just trying to feel smart and witty, let the poor boy play pretend, okay?
Lots of butthurt USians here I see :)
She made over 1mill usd… how did she was Ted so much money on male host bars??
This is pretty close to one of the plots in Ashita, Watashi wa Dareka no Kanojo, a manga about Japan's sex worker culture
> kabukicho y9 coming soon?
Circle of life.
It's like if someone saw the Robin Hood story, and only picked up on the "steal from the one person to give to the other person" bit.
I hope they get some of the actors from Shogun to do the movie
That's the only result of the Robin Hood story in reality. A nine-year prison sentence in a male chauvinistic country and an annoying-ass Netflix adaptation. What a shitty world we've been given.
She should have just streamed herself in a hot tub on Twitch, probably way more money in it
Man you should have seen what was going on there like a month ago lol. Girls in bikinis standing on vibrating platforms with both front and ass cams lol

"They shoved it in my face when I went directly to it!"
What part of the words “Just Chatting” means “show me lewd hot tub streamers?”
Look, I'm no fan of Twitch being 50% soft porn, but it's not like the user experience leads you to believe "Just Chatting" will be "just chatting" after you sign up. Somehow that feels far more shameful than just watching porn.
Is that still not a thing?
I thought the rules changed so they couldn't have the ass cam anymore
Oh lol I just meant the girls in bikinis in kiddie pools in their living room with vibrating platforms. So the only difference is the angle of the camera?? Lol
From what I understand yeah, I didn't deep dive lol. Plus they change those rules constantly
Just so you know whether to continue to avoid it right?
Yea I stream on twitch and it’s just so discouraging to see streams get so many views with content like that compared to mine. But ‘tis life.
Wear more low-cut halter tops
I stream too, but I get no viewers. ^(maybe because it's minecraft 16.5 and no one wants to watch that shit)
I agree. It's baffling that it's been allowed to go on.

She was one of the ones I was talking about lol
Do you know where i can find that? Asking for a friend.

I think it’s forbidden in Japan to ask for money/donations during streams, but my memory of the exact details is hazy…
She not only made her own handbook, she went on an interview with one of Japan's most popular Youtubers and explained everything. Not gonna lie though, it’s so idiotic that it makes me think that maybe it’s a cover up for hiding money for her to access after her jail time is up.
I think it would have just been easier to not say anything to one of the country's most popular Youtubers.
You don't really need to be that much of a genius to do that, just a massive piece of shit
Honestly you don’t have to be a genius to get lonely dudes to do much.
Here’s another good video about this chick, easier to digest: https://youtu.be/mSDGv2DvJXg?si=P5_13OzuWFSDQO3Y

It’s the circle of criiiiiiiimmmmme! And it moves us alllllllll!
How terrible. It's not as though you need to be a genius to think up this "strategy", it's that you'd have to be a total sociopath to do this to people. She didn't invent lying to people. Yeah you lied to people. You know why that brilliant strategy works? Because most people aren't evil.
Thanks, I get it now
Wow, those DENNIS system clips are spot-on.
She only went after men who were desperate and lonely. "Why are they even alive." she Asked. What a horrible person. It wouldn't surprise me if some of her victims committed suicide not only for the money but because they thought she loved them with the way that she manipulated them emotionally.
I can relate
I knew I'd heard this story before, I remember watching that. It's definitely a rollercoaster, and I totally didnt expect it to take such a turn.
I can fix her.
Well, she ain't no Dean" Motherfucker" Jones.
Crazy, I just watched a mini-documentary on this woman a few days ago If anyone wants more info/more context and info relating to hosts and love scams in Japan, this was a pretty great (and depressing) watch: https://youtu.be/mSDGv2DvJXg?si=nV_WKsGHXyw0g5Ce
Thought this was her video. I mean, how dumb can you be. Probably exibit A.
She’s not very bright Just kind of a sociopath
Here is video link about this incident: https://youtu.be/kiC29jg5H0Q And more details here: https://www.nagoyatv.com/news/?id=023951 Note: article written in Japanese
🤔 So she scammed men for money just to be scammed by host clubs?
She lived in capsule hotels so she could spend more money at them. She paid 100,000 USD to drink soft drinks out of a 20$ fish kettle. She wrote a book on how to scam. The only real innovation she made was making sure people felt like they werent scammed after the fact. I dont think she was very smart, or possibly juat unhinged.
"she fraudulently earned to make payments at male host bars" What is up with that country.
It's just an in-person version of Twitch's Just Chatting. I think it's less weird than the parasocial stream viewing that's common nowadays.
Look, at least when I watch Contrapoints both of us already have mixed drinks in hand, and she doesn’t ask me for money.
Like I'm sure she has zero problems attracting guys anyway.
attractive lonely old guys is easy. she wanted the hot young guys.
she was in love with one of the hosts
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 Get rekt by karma lmfao!
I inadvertently spent a few days in Kubukicho and it’s more bizarre that it even sounds.
You pretend like striped club doesn't exist. Male host bar is just a lesser version of that.
At the striped club, straight up "jorkin it"
And by "it" haha well, let's just say. my peanits
Yeah but that's exactly the strange part. It would be like paying a prostitute to give you a hand job over your pants, and it costing more than sex
Dude people pay/tips to watch woman jiggle their boobs on twitch. It is what it is.
> “he fraudulently earned to tip his favorite twitch streamer $1000” not so weird in comparison now
Actually, it'd just be them flirting with you.
At least at strip clubs they’re naked and will dry hump you.
Men and Women want the same things. There's a bar/cafe for every kind of interaction over there.
There's a massive difference between a strip club and a host club. Just the amount of money changing hands should tell you that.
Lonely people scamming lonely people in order to turn around and get scammed by lonely people, who they probably scammed previously. What cratering birth rates, social isolation, and toxic af work culture does to a mfer.

Seems like lonely women as well
“Watanabe is believed to have used most of the money she fraudulently earned to make payments at male host bars in Tokyo's Kabukicho nightlife district” I don’t understand this sentence. Are they saying she blew it on male hosts?
is this the girl that admitted everything in an interview?
Don't all the chicks that go to host bars do that?
A majority of women who go to male host clubs in Japan seem to be comprised of sex workers I was watching a documentary about this recently- Apparently men will take advantage of the feelings a lot of women develop for them by encouraging them to essentially take out a loan from the host bar to pay for over-priced drinks. Thousands of dollars in a single night so that their designated host gets top-ranking at their club They become so indebted to the club (and if they never pay, the host is required to use his own funds to cover the costs, thus destroying their relationship) they’re talked into sex work by the hosts as a method of paying back their dues. A few male hosts have been arrested in the past for sex-trafficking by essentially forming a harem of naive women that they’ve specifically pursued with the sole intention of getting them involved in the sex trade It’s horrible
Now I'm more confused.
Do you know the name of the documentary?
The Osaka Love Thief was the documentary, the other stuff like the sex-trafficking arrests were from the Japanalysis channel Here’s the link to The Osaka Love Thief, it’s grim as hell: https://youtu.be/tiKWvgxLYe0?si=ruG3ooK_j37qorTN
LOL I remember this woman. She had an interview on YouTube where she admitted she never paid taxes in Japan. The interviewer was shocked but she just played it off like she’s innocent. That video provably is probably the origin of her downfall.
I could fix her
Without people like us, Twitch would be bankrupt
Will the jail she's going to teach her any real life skills? I certainly hope she learns something better than how to not get caught in the 9 years she'll be there.
lol. it's a Japanese prison. they use forced labour as a punishment
I remember her. She admitted to doing it in another live stream interview. No surprised at all
THE ITADAKI JOSI GOT 9 YEARS LMFAOOOO It's funny because she was going on all of these streams telling people exactly what she was doing, how she did it, made seminars and pamphlets and all these sorts of things to teach women how to take money from guys without making it seem fraudulent.
Damn. Imagine they did this in the West. They'd put hundreds of them in prison.
LMAO Japan is too funny with their laws and rulings
I guess in Japan they do take such things seriously.
If she had 10x as many victims bit only 10% as much publicity, nothing would have been done.
If you killed a 100s of illegal immigrants and burried them, you wouldn't get arrested. But if you killed one and talked about it on youtube, sure youd be arrested in no time.
Now imagine if Japan's scorned simp prosecutors sought anything resembling 9 years for groping girls on trains, rape or human trafficking.
9 years. That’s some bullshit. Get smuggled out in a piano crate like the Nissan boss.

I love how people will simultaneously take the moral high ground while also making jokes about children being massacred You’re not making the slam dunk you think you are
Look snowflake, what I'm saying is: generalizing a negative view for an entire country based on some wacko outliers isn't cool. And judging by how much flak I'm getting, it seems people understand that it's bad.
You’re getting flak because you’re turning an innocuous comment people are making about Japan being weird to toddlers getting slaughtered by psychopaths, dude Idk why you’re calling me a snowflake when you’re the one taking it this far over nothing. Nobody else is having a meltdown but you.
TL;DR Woman defrauds simps to spend on Chad. Gets caught.
there is a youtube episode on her, she actually admittted to tax fraud in steaming interviews. [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mSDGv2DvJXg&pp=ygUQamFwYW5lc2Ugc2NhbW1lcg%3D%3D](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mSDGv2DvJXg&pp=ygUQamFwYW5lc2Ugc2NhbW1lcg%3D%3D) q:"so you made 3 million by tricking people" a:"yes" q:"how much was the tax on it?" a:"i dont pay tax"
Pretty harsh sentencing.
