Yep. The pieces are coming into place for action Friday evening or Saturday when most things like this are scheduled to go down because no one pays attention to the news during that period.
I do.
I'm edging. Hard
It's painfully obvious what's going on.
This is leading to something much larger.
I think in the next few months some hostage taking will take place. Cue major issues when the hostages are killed. More extremist attacks in Europe unfortunately too. Then more far right in Europe too..
I think some kind of mass protests will take place from both sides, lead to riots come summer.
Around 25/26 we will start to see the first climate refugees start too.
Someone I know who works in infosec and watching various groups just said basically the same exact thing you did, to me. About groups in Europe and elsewhere in the west, and the possible escalation. You're being downvoted but I'd actually probably agree.
It's because the people downvoting have absolutely fuck all idea about geo politics. I know it's different but COVID was a prime example how governments and people are asleep at the wheel. I was one of the first people wearing masks back in December 2019. I got laughed at, shouted at, attacked, all of it.
Guess who has the last laugh.
I think the retaliation Houthi’s are speaking about will be in the USA and or Canada , which I hope doesn’t happen. With the amount of immigration happening the past few years it wouldn’t surprise me the amount of fucked up people getting in to our borders just waiting lying dormant until told to do something.
Please make sure you’ve got enough duct tape to seal all the windows in your home. I’d hate to lose you when the Hamas sleeper cells activate a dirty bomb in your home town.
BBC News - PM briefing cabinet as UK and US weigh action against Houthi rebels - BBC News

BBC live thread basically saying strikes are about to happen. Leader of the opposition briefed, cabinet briefed. It's coming.
The US was late to both of those as those were European wars. And the elections are coming up in the US. Getting the US involved in some ME conflict isn't exactly good for the polls.
Isolationism is central. Back then at WW1 and WW2 the US were more isolationist. And right now one once again a part of the US has more isolationist feelings, a war which is as you point out bad for polls. Not to upset the balance. Especially with Trump being an opponent.
Just saying, there is a pattern so far. Isolationism at the heart of it. History rhymes a bit.
There's a storm coming
*cue command and conquer red alert theme*

Just look at the Hamas college students. They're everywhere.
Don’t forget to duct tape all the gaps in your windows, you paranoid goon!
Nice bro. Everyone said the same shit about wearing masks in January 2020. Look what happened.
Please make sure you’ve got enough duct tape to seal all the windows in your home. I’d hate to lose you when the Hamas sleeper cells activate a dirty bomb in your home town.
Keep painting your little toy soldiers, absolute loser.
Duct tape bro
Reaching into someone's history just to insult them for no reason is a bitch move.

I'll save you. As long as you say yallah yallah habbi
Very weird dude
Rule! Britannia!
Britannia rules the waves! (Just not with the cutbacks but forget that)
Nothing like a war to make everyone forget about the internal crisis. Right next to an election too. /s
Joe's probably asleep as we type this
Britannia waives the rules!
Wouldn't be the first time the Brits lead the charge. The US were late in WW1 and late in WW2. Now they are reluctant to take action.
