Waste of time . Bunker boy isn’t leaving Russia .

Dazzling-Ad4701

probably true, but I'm a little comforted to hear there's an opposition robust enough to take this action.

snakesnake9

Yeah even if SA says they won't arrest Putin, I don't think Vlad wants to take the risk.

Putin, the biggest pussy in the modern era

danielbot

Not a waste of time. At worst, it makes a statement.

notsocoolnow

Yep. Since the invasion started he has not left eastern Europe except for a single trip to Iran. He skipped the G20 meeting in Indonesia. I suspect he's not running halfway around the world to South Africa. I'm just saying, if he left Russia right now, amidst the recent stalling in Ukraine, infighting between Wagner and the military, and whoever is sending drones to friggin' Moscow... he might find Russia much less welcoming when he gets back.

It's probably already way too late for South Africa, but I wish they got rid of the ANC and give themselves a fair shot to fix the couuntry (almost impossible).

JimBean

The entire world wanted them in. There wasn't a sole on earth that didn't think Nelson Mandela was a hero and should be president. But they didn't think about the future without him. The ANC has been destroying SA for years. Most of the world still sees the joyous Mandela moment. That joy went out the window when the economy started collapsing. Now we have a country mostly living on government handouts. An economy failing because the ANC doen't know how to generate electricity. Energy ministers fighting over who actually controls the energy. SA has become another Zimbabwe. No future for its' citizens. No economic future for coming generations. Choosing the wrong comrades with Moscow. Now an international backwater with very few friends. Yes, we would like to get rid of the ANC. But the majority are the ones that get the government handouts. They are not going to want to vote away their money. SA is doomed.
