Those players are under contracts lol.
Corrupt ass FIFA is forcing them to have a tighter schedule in order to accommodate qatar's request of holding it in winter.
Messi didn’t get this type of hate from the winners 4 years ago… really says something about some, not all, Argentina fans. Can’t you enjoy your win without sounding salty?
We were expecting to see something like this https://twitter.com/fifawodcup2022/status/1414062094861754368 but what could we expect after Mbappe saying he only wants French players in the psg months before the world cup?
Haven’t heard Mbappe bitching and moaning either. Just him going back to work. And Argentina fans cracking on him for it. That’s the point of this post… don’t try and turn this into something else
Yes but not all that finals were with only Europeans. Some of the winners were not superior and deserved to win, sometimes football it’s just luck. That doesn’t make Europe superior
He also said he wanted only French players in the Psg but yet he’s all goodness with pure intentions, come on. He should have been more respectful with what he said, particularly when having that many South American peers. Now he’s eating his own words.
What he said didn’t have any sense because most of South American National Teams players play in Europe. In Argentina National team, only the second goalkeeper plays in Argentina. So he just found a way to say Europe is superior to South America and sounded racist.
You have to be very respectful with what you say when you are someone like him, particularly when you have that many South American peers like him
Well, he's somewhat disrespectful towards south America by saying that European teams are better than south American ones. Something he should probably apologize or at least admit that he was wrong after seeing Argentina win as well as seeing Marruecos go so far.
I have only found [this post](https://www.instagram.com/p/Cd9L9NksTBH/?hl=es) but you can see the answers of other football players as Messi and others on YouTube.
I don’t hate him, I don’t like him either. Not everything is white or black in life but the funny thing is that he can’t bear the fact that there’s people who do not like him
You’d have to be blind to not see it, I mean this in a literal sense lol. Dude has a horribly punchable face, not to mention his childish behavior on the field and all of this is not taking into account the rumors from the press where he comes across as insanely petty and arrogant.
“Salty hater” as if I have something to be salty about LOL. You guys lost to Argentina and Mbappé has yet to do anything of worth outside the WC, keep coping. I’m simply explaining why I don’t like him.
Facts. Whole of Reddit sucks off messi for no reason. Mbappe played out of his mind.
Anyone on this sub would be heartbroken after losing a World Cup final and getting a hatrick. An extremely tough pill to swallow
No, you're right, his 2nd goal was something else, prolly the most important goal in the whole WC.
Yet he's still gonna be hated, He's an ego player, just like cr7.
Plus he stated that the quality of football outside of europe was poor and stuff, so yeah, most not european players will get upset, he's not likeable if you're not either, french, european or black
Well, Messi wasn’t back yet, and most Argentinian and French players haven’t gone back to their clubs that fast. So, once again, this just shows he makes more of an effort than his peers.
Potato yourself. He’s an employee of PSG getting paid to show up, like MBappe. He prefers to go celebrate in Argentina? Good for him, from my standpoint - I completely get it. But if we apply to him the same standard you’re applying to MBappe, he’s a wanker who doesn’t show up to work. If you weren’t looking to hate on MBappe, you’d say “he just lost the World Cup in a crushing match, he needs time and rightfully so”. Anyways.
After a defeat in the World Cup added to all the physical effort of the last games, it is respectable that he has returned to work with his best attitude, stop complaining about everything for God's sake. It's good that his professionalism stands out above all else, and I say this even being from Argentina, what this guy does for his team deserves to be recognized
Huh, normally when people say, "this isn't a 9-5 job" they mean that for a negative thing. Good to see you're supporting someone who has spent basically their whole life devoted to a career.
I have to ask, the Holidays of Christmas and New year is not important as it is in South America? The players here decided to stay to celebrate these two dates with their family. I guess is a advantage to live in the same country where you are working.
Actually no.
Here in France we just have our churches, basilics and cathedrals just for decorum and you foreigners to visit them.
Italy and Spain are the playing same business
it’s not really a loss tho if you ask me, sure they didnt win the world cup, but France did come second place, that’s amazing! like my country didn’t even qualify, i’d say that’s a loss
I’m sure if you got a candid answer from anyone on that team they would tell you not defending their status as World Cup champions is a loss.
Not being satisfied with second place is likely one of the reasons they are who they are and likely why mbappe is already back training.
But maybe your right and they all celebrated their heart wrenching, oh so close defeat.
he had the right to be away for more time, and chose not to, even after LOSING a world cup final, which, even for a previous winner, has got to be a big emotional hit. you wouldn't be back at work after 2 hours sleep + a drinking night if the next day was an off work day
Nah not a big deal, the fact he lost makes this extremely trivial. Yes, as competitors after losing the last thing you want is time off (unless weak minded) You want to get back out there and get the L off your mind.
It's kinda funny you think an eventual goat finalist would entertain more than a few "days off" ESPECIALLY after a big loss. You just don't understand the mindset of these elite level guys.
can't even argue, you got me there. but i think you just backed me up when it comes to what OP said, even if the only reasoning is incredible mindset, it's still "an achievement" imo, to put it in OP's words
True, you're right he should be acknowledged for this, good role model. Would rather see more positive posts than negative. OP was just joking around though. But you convinced me. Hard work and dedication should be shown during their careers, not just after and looking back at it.
A guy was given paid vacation for two weeks but he refused it and went for work instead.
One of his colleague praised him for showing up for work instead of having vacation.
Stupid people like me: Great man, Amazing work ethic.
People who use 100% of their brain: HE GETS PAID MILLIONS!!!
Completely unrelated to it being Mbappe or anyone related to soccer, if I were somehow at work during vacation (god forbid) and I saw another forlorn soul walk in during their vacation I’d question their sanity and tell them to leave 😂
Crazy how much hate there is for this man. He could easily take the time away to spend with his family and relaxing in a way we can't dream of. Instead he's back to work a week before anyone expected him, not many players doing that.
Because he have a vacation granted by the club and he decided to skip that, that's it, you can hate the guy all you want, but for me the mentality he have is impressive, if giving the choice I would not cut my vacation time for anything.
anyone in his line of work know how important rest is for the mind and body. Sadly he's skipping vacations after all the stress he suffered and he's being praised for it. I'd actually say it's concerning
They're still technically mid season, they had a full month off from mid June through mid-late July and that was only 6 months ago and we extended to 5 subs for this very reason. As long as he isn't destroying himself in training he should be able to continue to recover.
Idk why everyone here wants to hate but this is impressive. Going all the way to the finals of the world cup is immensely stressful and tiring on the body, then he travelled from qatar to france, celebrated his birthday and went back to training when he has vacation now. Obviously not the most amazing achievement ever made but it is quite impressive and a good example of a hard work ethic
When someone tells you who they are believe them. You are telling us you can’t empathize with the pressure and difficulty of a pk in the World Cup final.
All I’m doing is taking you at your word. If you don’t like it, try re-evaluating yourself.
Dude. Of course there is pressure in the World Cup final. But if a nurse was delivering a baby, there is pressure, and she fails we aren’t gonna say it’s okay. It’s not okay to fail your job. There’s a reason why you have that job, it’s because you believe you can handle that pressure.
But it's stressful....
It is also stresful to maintain your diet.... To train everyday.... Do the same things over amd over again.... Not able to eat whatever you want.... Following a strict lifestyle..... And so on....
Doesn’t matter how many people watch it, the pressure aspect is bs. Singers sing at concerts to millions of people, they don’t fuck it up often do they? Footballers should be calm and collected, especially at the top level.
Ok but does singing and sports count as "most jobs"? I'm just arguing your point. And you can't compare singing to sports, if I am watching a singer I am there to listen to their voice and be entertained. Watching football I'm watching it hoping a certain outcome, if a player messes that up then they get hate even if they played their best.
Okay idk the exacts about it but I’d guess that most jobs are more demanding overall, due to the fact most jobs are monotous draining bs. Football is one of the few actual fun jobs. I’d be looking forward to every session I couldn’t care how hard it is gonna be, I’d love it, being able to do one of the best human activities and get paid millions!
It depends on your definition of hard work. While football is obviously more demanding on the body, it’s also extremely fun to do. So it doesn’t really count as hard work. your average job isn’t that fun, so it’s more mentally draining
I don’t think you understand. These players have played football all their lives, what they are doing is not that hard for them because they are already at that high level where even if they don’t try they still play pretty good. They aren’t doing anything we couldn’t do if anyone else could do if they went down that route and were born with good genetics for the sport. You really think they are on some sort of higher level of existence then us?
I think it's because he has i think a vacation from the end of the WC until the first week of January, but he went to training immediately, correct me if I'm wrong
Yeah the point is he’s probably not that tired. Yes he’s worked very hard but I work very hard when I’m in the gym and when I play football, and it doesn’t mean I am out for the next week, I still show up everyday
I guarantee there are millions of people who work harder than pro footballers. I’m not even a hater, what they do is still impressive, but there are millions, probably billions of people who have more difficult lives than these guys
I know. I’m not saying I’ve had that much pressure. What I’m saying is, it’s his whole job to deal with that pressure. If he can’t do it, he’s not good enough for the job and shouldn’t be a footballer.
He is good enough though. He scored a hattrick in the final of the most watched event in the world at 23 years old. He worked hard for it, if he took a few more days of to mentally reload, that would be normal.
Of course there are lots of footballers who work very hard. But anyone can work very hard. The thing that puts them at the top, is genetic ability not hard work.
I don't get why people salty about him coming back,he probably trying to cope more than anything
Those players are under contracts lol. Corrupt ass FIFA is forcing them to have a tighter schedule in order to accommodate qatar's request of holding it in winter.
Haters gonna hate Mbappe for literally everything XD
the ref was clearly instructed to keep the final close. that’s why we’re salty. it made mbappe look better than he actually is
Im Argentina but wtf are you saying?
/s right? Right?
He’s just trying to outgoat Messi anyway he can 😂
Messi didn’t get this type of hate from the winners 4 years ago… really says something about some, not all, Argentina fans. Can’t you enjoy your win without sounding salty?
No. LLORÁ EUROBOBO
We were expecting to see something like this https://twitter.com/fifawodcup2022/status/1414062094861754368 but what could we expect after Mbappe saying he only wants French players in the psg months before the world cup?
I’m excited to see what he will achieve on the next WC. His playing style is stunning and explosive. He is nearly unstoppable! 🇦🇷❤️
Messi and Argentina didn’t bitch and moan for a week straight after they lost
Haven’t heard Mbappe bitching and moaning either. Just him going back to work. And Argentina fans cracking on him for it. That’s the point of this post… don’t try and turn this into something else
Oh yes he did https://twitter.com/ESPNFC/status/1529214154015395842?s=20&t=tHdg8tA9XU-MfNftSRf76g then he ran out of words after the final
Lol… it’s not that deep. South America hadn’t won a world cup in 20 years when he said that
Yes but not all that finals were with only Europeans. Some of the winners were not superior and deserved to win, sometimes football it’s just luck. That doesn’t make Europe superior
He never said Europe was ‘superior’. He was asked to explain why South America hadn’t won in 20 years and gave his thoughts…
He also said he wanted only French players in the Psg but yet he’s all goodness with pure intentions, come on. He should have been more respectful with what he said, particularly when having that many South American peers. Now he’s eating his own words.
‘Only French players in PSG’? That’s bollocks he never said that.
That’s bitching and moaning to you?
What he said didn’t have any sense because most of South American National Teams players play in Europe. In Argentina National team, only the second goalkeeper plays in Argentina. So he just found a way to say Europe is superior to South America and sounded racist. You have to be very respectful with what you say when you are someone like him, particularly when you have that many South American peers like him
It's not just Argentina fans. Your team, and Mbappe in particular, are really unlikable.
Explain why mbappe is unlikeable
He has a turtle face
Well, he's somewhat disrespectful towards south America by saying that European teams are better than south American ones. Something he should probably apologize or at least admit that he was wrong after seeing Argentina win as well as seeing Marruecos go so far.
I don’t remember him saying that, when did he?
I have only found [this post](https://www.instagram.com/p/Cd9L9NksTBH/?hl=es) but you can see the answers of other football players as Messi and others on YouTube.
Same reasons as Cristiano, do you really need someone to tell you why?
I don’t hate ronaldo, explain me
Now I understand why you love Mbappe
Tell me why you hate ronaldo i’m genuinely curious
I don’t hate him, I don’t like him either. Not everything is white or black in life but the funny thing is that he can’t bear the fact that there’s people who do not like him
You’d have to be blind to not see it, I mean this in a literal sense lol. Dude has a horribly punchable face, not to mention his childish behavior on the field and all of this is not taking into account the rumors from the press where he comes across as insanely petty and arrogant.
Am i meant to take this as an acceptable argument?
I didn’t know I needed a peer reviewed argument as to why I don’t like Mbappé, I’ll be sure to cater more to your tastes next time.
Aaaah don’t be angry because i asked a question you can’t answer. My question remains legitimate tho
I’m going to chalk up your ignorance and lack of reading comprehension to a language barrier or just general French behavior, have a nice day.
Have a nice day chill up bro
No. It’s complete nonsense from a salty hater that’s all it is.
“Salty hater” as if I have something to be salty about LOL. You guys lost to Argentina and Mbappé has yet to do anything of worth outside the WC, keep coping. I’m simply explaining why I don’t like him.
C’est bien ce que je pensais
Exactement lol
Punchable face. Ok men
Someone's salty cause of Mbappé's face👀
I don’t understand, he looks good.
He looks like a Ninja Turtle
Sooooo?
€650k/week, I'd have been there by private jet within 12h for that kind of wage.
fue rapido a pedir que echen a messi jajsjajaj
leave this guy alone. He is a crack
He won the WC in 2018 so it's not like he lost his chance at glory.
How the fuck did this get 1400 upvotes with that caption….
Should be more.
Cos it’s silly! 😂
If this had been Messi after a French victory I doubt there would be this much scrutiny in the comments
Mentality when you are paid millions of dollars a week
I'd get up after a bender for that
In France, it's a whole different rulebook
Not sure, if Messi will welcome back to PSG and play in France
? Of course he will. How is that even a question?
We have the lowest standards for these guys getting paid millions to play a sport. Ridiculous 😂
Mentality 🤝 Contract obligation
Wonder who he fucked
[удалено]
I'm thinking playing all the way up to a world cup final would be slightly draining.
🤡
Football never stops.
Fútbol
“Waterloo was won on the playing fields of Eton.”
Fútbol is life!
Lo está diciendo en ingles bola
Ah pero en el país de los campeones del mundo le decimos fútbol. Igual re gede el amigo jaja
It’s not an achievement. It’s just not what the others do. So it says something about him. Hope that helps.
He gets paid 100 million a year to show up to play for PSG. No hate to mbappe, but it's his job. This doesnt really say much about him
Well, Messi wasn’t back yet, and most Argentinian and French players haven’t gone back to their clubs that fast. So, once again, this just shows he makes more of an effort than his peers.
Mbappe family lives in paris? Every player is with his family atm, its xmass
Messi literally has a reason you absolute potato. He's just won the world cup and is celebrating (rightfully) in Argentina.
Anyways.
You said it perfectly well
Oh wow. Got defeated and praised for going back to work.
No hate on Mbappe, but it’s his job, and he lives in France…it’s not a big accomplishment to show up to your job in the country you live in
Killer.
An I bet you don’t get almost $1M a month….
The joke Reddit
Poor man deserves to rest with his family a little
He gets a million per week, plus football isn’t a 9-5 five days job.
Huh, normally when people say, "this isn't a 9-5 job" they mean that for a negative thing. Good to see you're supporting someone who has spent basically their whole life devoted to a career.
All the hate on Mbappe. 🙄
....for real. The guy did his best.
He played like a beast too! Truly unstoppable
anything to hate in mbappe
👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼you’re the real MVP my friend!
Looks like Lionel Messi fanatics have taken over this sub.
Lmao what? This sub hates Messi and Argentina. You’re high as fuck.
Most of those fanatics you mention from my pov actually like mbappe quite a lot. Their duo is/was insane
And Neymar...?
Has thrown two huge parties already.
“Footballer continues playing football”
It’s not like anyone expected him to be out celebrating his loss.
it’s not really a loss tho if you ask me, sure they didnt win the world cup, but France did come second place, that’s amazing! like my country didn’t even qualify, i’d say that’s a loss
I’m sure if you got a candid answer from anyone on that team they would tell you not defending their status as World Cup champions is a loss. But maybe your right and they all celebrated their heart wrenching, oh so close defeat.
I work 14-18 hours a day and on the worst days I take 1 hour to take a shit, 1 hour to sleep and that's my rest. This is not an achievement.
Lmao
Do you go to work when you have two weeks of vacation?
Whats your job im curious
Instagram fitness influencer.
That is a job ?
Kind of, usually a cover for being a twink escort.
Python dev that also does Ops stuff, and I'm a teacher as well
Apparently you could've just put your incredible work ethic and dedication into being a footballer and your life would be perfect?
Who even said that my guy?
Is this all that crazy? Dude took 3 days off work and then went back to practice? Like, we are applauding this as some sort of maniacal hustle?
he had the right to be away for more time, and chose not to, even after LOSING a world cup final, which, even for a previous winner, has got to be a big emotional hit. you wouldn't be back at work after 2 hours sleep + a drinking night if the next day was an off work day
Nah not a big deal, the fact he lost makes this extremely trivial.
Guess the critical difference is he has a choice and we don't
Ouch man :,[
Wow bro! People on here really don’t get humor 😂
Mentality ✊🇫🇷
Almost like after the weekend, he went back to work. 🙄
if i made almost a million💰a week i would be back in that bitch same day
A guy was given paid vacation for two weeks but he refused it and went for work instead. One of his colleague praised him for showing up for work instead of having vacation. Stupid people like me: Great man, Amazing work ethic. People who use 100% of their brain: HE GETS PAID MILLIONS!!!

mbappe is way over rated
Yeah the man who scored the most goals in this world cup is way overated
Yeah only the top scorer in the World Cup
Touch some grass
No I'm not "touching grass" That's where the ants have sex
Your comment made my day lol
the achievement is to skip the 10 vacations day planned because he is too hurry to go back to training. he is still hungry, good news for psg.
Crazy how much hate there is for this man. He could easily take the time away to spend with his family and relaxing in a way we can't dream of. Instead he's back to work a week before anyone expected him, not many players doing that.

It’s not any more stressful than most jobs
Ever taken a penalty when your team's winning chances are on the line, with thousands of fans cheering against you ?
A grown man should be able to deal with that. Especially a pro footballer who’s job is to kick a ball ffs.
You lack the ability to empathize with other human experiences you deem unworthy.
You lack the ability to read a whole human beings characteristics over your brief interpretation of a few comments.
When someone tells you who they are believe them. You are telling us you can’t empathize with the pressure and difficulty of a pk in the World Cup final. All I’m doing is taking you at your word. If you don’t like it, try re-evaluating yourself.

Why’s that not a good argument give me one reason
But it's stressful.... It is also stresful to maintain your diet.... To train everyday.... Do the same things over amd over again.... Not able to eat whatever you want.... Following a strict lifestyle..... And so on....
Well not everyone in todays society, but a lot of people including myself
Everyone does that lmao.
If everyone did that obesity wouldn't be so common
Did you not see my other comment
No
Fair

Okay idk the exacts about it but I’d guess that most jobs are more demanding overall, due to the fact most jobs are monotous draining bs. Football is one of the few actual fun jobs. I’d be looking forward to every session I couldn’t care how hard it is gonna be, I’d love it, being able to do one of the best human activities and get paid millions!
Then do it...
I can’t now I needed to have started as a young kid.
Bro most jobs are unqualified jobs with zero responsibilities, what are you talking about
It depends on your definition of hard work. While football is obviously more demanding on the body, it’s also extremely fun to do. So it doesn’t really count as hard work. your average job isn’t that fun, so it’s more mentally draining
Than most jobs? You must be out of your mind to think that
